We asked Meghan to meet the dogs and cat before her first walk, and we found her to be calm, polite, and very pleasant around the dogs. They warmed up to her immediately. While we were gone, she walked the dogs twice a day, including the one who was socially anxious. Our house looked great when we got home and the animals were in very good spirits. About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.

I’ve even experienced breeding and nurturing 11 golden retrievers (3 adults and 8 puppies) at one time. I will come to your house to LOVE, feed, water, play, brush, walk, talk to, and even car rides with your beautiful pets. About: I grew up surrounding myself with animals, since I was seven I spent all of my time at our horse farm and I learned to take care of animals big and small. This grew into my life passion which is animals. I studied animal science at UMASS Amherst and UNLV and also have worked at various animal clinics with different roles as a kennel technician and a veterinarian assistant learning so many skills along the way. About: I have had pets my whole life. I currently have a small farm. I have chickens, ducks, turkies, pigs, dogs and cats. Alone with rabbits and guinea pigs. we are a very pet friendly area. Live in a wooded area on a dead end street. I currently work from home and have time for pet care. My youngest daughter is also in the home. Also have my granddaughter here on the weekends. she is 11. I will provide care in my home since I work from home this is the best for me at this time. I also have my 11 yr old granddaughter here on weekends.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for 15 years whether it were my own or a friend even a neighbor. My neighbor or for the past two years trusted me with the keys to their home. I have a genuine love for animals. I work around my kids schedules but can be available anytime in advance. My weekly routines are mainly part time but I have flexibility at the moment I can easily crate your dog if needed. I have friendly animals as well. They are familiar with people and another animal. About: I have cared for dogs of every breed for more than 40 years. I frequently provide overnights in my home and pop in visits for friends & family dogs and have decided to start offering my services to all of you. You will receive updates and many photos while you are away Must be house-trained and not have to wear diapers or pee pads. I understand an accident can happen especially being in a new place. Must be friendly with people and all other dogs without having any aggression Must be up to date on their shots I currently work a full time job and I’m available for boarding on Friday evenings thru Sunday evening with the possibility of boarding during the week. The same goes for drop in visits I have a big yard but it’s not fenced in. I do have a very long lead that goes from one end of the yard to the other for the dogs that cannot be outside without a leash

About: I have pet and house-sat a lot through out my life, I love making new animal friends!! I have experience giving medication, bathing, walking, hiking and chilling with both 🐈 and 🐕. I live in Bomoseen and work in Middlebury, if you need a drop in while you go out on the lake or need to take a day trip, I’m your girl! I have time to get your pets outside and active, and to give them lots of attention. I’m an extremely reliable, punctual person. I’m also quite tidy, should you need an overnight sitter, your place will be almost identical to how you left it.

Laura was awesome about introducing her dogs one by one and letting him get accustomed to her dogs and her home. She tried different areas to see where he would be most comfortable and really put time and effort into getting him to relax and be comfortable. She kept me up to date and make me feel a lot better about where he was and how he was doing. I would definitely use them again when we're in the Adirondacks!”

About: I love all animals!!! I really enjoy coming to your house and playing with your precious babies. I have cared for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, birds, turtles, and yes even snakes. I’ve even experienced breeding and nurturing 11 golden retrievers (3 adults and 8 puppies) at one time. I will come to your house to LOVE, feed, water, play, brush, walk, talk to, and even car rides with your beautiful pets. I’ve also been known to mop, water your plants, retrieve your mail, and take your garbage to the street. On numerous occasions, I’ve taken on jobs in Massachusetts and Vermont as mini vacations! About: I have been around animals my whole life, and enjoy taking care and spending time with them.I’ve taken care of neighbors and watched family friends pets as they were away. I have a dog that I enjoy doing everything with. I am currently working full time at a hotel but would love to do part time and spend time with animals as I love to do.
