About: I'm an enthusiastic dog walker and sitter that has a passion for dogs and rescuing them. I have been involved in dog rescue and fostering in the Syracuse area for a number of years. I've cared for a number of my own dogs and cats from young to seniors. I've also been a foster parent to a number of dogs when rescues needed someone. I can handle the most challenging of dogs down to little babies and everything in between. Your dog will get plenty of love and attention when I'm around! I give all dogs the same love and affection I would give my own dog and see the importance of cuddle and buddy time along with good exercise. She took great care of our three cats and bunny, including our elder diabetic cat who requires specific feeding instructions and twice daily insulin injections. She was obviously familiar with working with diabetic pets when she gave a first injection at our meet up. She was punctual for every visit and provided us detailed notes and several photos of our boys while we were away which we appreciated. She played with them, learned their individual personalities and habits, even made our very timid cat feel comfortable in her presence (not an easy feat!). About: Your pets will be well taken care of under my supervision. I love to run and walk so your dog will have lots of exercise. I am willing to give medications if needed, I have experience from working at ASPCA. I also love to groom and give baths so your dog will never come home dirty, and nails can be trimmed as needed. Animals are my main priority, and I am currently apprenticing to become a full-time groomer. So this is exceptional experience for my resume. My clients shouldn't have any doubt that their pup/fur baby is not taken care of, and I will only be a phone call away if needed. Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

About: I've been taking care of animals since 7th grade. My family had their own dog and I used to care for animals around the neighborhood including cats and other animals. I take care of my former co workers dogs and my dad's dog. I'm a very active person, so I love to play outside and go for walks. I have had dogs most of my life before moving to Central New York, then finally got our dog in 2017 after moving into our house. My husband and I personally have a dog named Stitch and 2 rabbits, Zander and Rocky. If any of the dogs can't leave their cages alone we relocate the rabbits to another room. No worries they are used to this. Where we can enjoy a good game of fetch in the back yard (long line of course). I live in a single story, ranch house that has a fully fenced back yard. I do not have children at home that we would need to worry about and I'm very respectful if needed to go into a client's home. Safety and security are always at the forefront.

If caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets can relax, play, and receive plenty of supervision and affection. I pay close attention to each pet’s individual needs, personality, and routine to ensure they feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. About: Before I could even remember, I have always been surrounded by dogs. Whether I am with small or giant dogs, I love them all so much! It is one of my many enjoyments to be able to make a dogs day (more like they make my day)! I am excited for the opportunity to walk, feed, and/or play with your dog! I am a graduate student working on my masters in school counseling. Being a full-time student, I have extensive time to be able to fit pet care into my schedule. Caring for my client's dogs, I treat them with the same respect and love as I would to my own dog. It is important for me to give them the most attention and affection because their lives are only so long. I will make sure that your dog is met with all their needs.

And their pup and mine got along really well, so that was a bonus that he had a buddy for the week! It was also really nice that I got pictures all week of the boys playing and chilling together.
