About: I'm an enthusiastic dog walker and sitter that has a passion for dogs and rescuing them. I have been involved in dog rescue and fostering in the Syracuse area for a number of years. I've cared for a number of my own dogs and cats from young to seniors. I've also been a foster parent to a number of dogs when rescues needed someone. I can handle the most challenging of dogs down to little babies and everything in between. Your dog will get plenty of love and attention when I'm around! I give all dogs the same love and affection I would give my own dog and see the importance of cuddle and buddy time along with good exercise. About: (Saying up front that I am not comfortable using a prong collar, so if that’s something you use on your dog, I don’t believe I’m a right fit for the service you want. Please don’t invite me to your home and surprise me with a prong collar—I will not use it on your dog.) Now here’s my bio: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

I take care of my former co workers dogs and my dad's dog. I'm a very active person, so I love to play outside and go for walks. About: I’ve lived and taken care of dogs and cats my whole life and have had multiple temporary dog sitting jobs. Jobs including; walking, feeding, bathing, etc. I’m working part time but am free many days of the week. I’m available mostly in the afternoon and night hours. If needed, I am able to work around some mornings. I have a fenced in yard in which my dogs run freely around. My clients dogs will be well cared of under my supervision and I will listen to any instructions necessary.

“After our dog boarding situation fell through for the week of Christmas, I stumbled upon Matthew and Christie (and their kids) on Rover. Not only were they able to accommodate our last minute reservation, but they were incredibly flexible when a million things went wrong on the tail end of our trip causing delay after delay. About: I’ve handled dogs for the AKC since I was 12 years old starting in junior handling and worked my way up to professional handling very quickly. I am open all days of the week and I live right next-door. (Same building) The dogs will be cared for as I would my own and taking out consistently also making sure they have plenty freshwater in this heat. Along with lots of belly rubs!! The facility can be locked. I am there constantly and there’s plenty of room. I’m always available and I make sure that every pup is happy. If you have a puppy or dog with severe separation anxiety I can sleep downstairs with your dog also.
