“This young couple was Awesome!! My elderly cat hides from strangers when they visit my home and has never stayed away from us. Plus she is Very insecure and needy with us, her pet parents. We Had to find a sitter for her due to a death in the family forcing us to travel out of town for several days. I was very afraid she would be traumatized and maybe not recover, as she’s old and has a cardiac condition. She Refused to leave her carrier when I dropped her off, boding ill. BUT! “Mindy provided day care for my aunt's dog, Sassy, while we visited Niagara Falls from Arkansas. Sassy had never been under someone else's care and my aunt was nervous about leaving her with a "stranger". But Mindy was wonderful and allowed us to come for a 'meet and greet' when we arrived in town the day before our booking. My aunt was still nervous about leaving her the next day because Sassy, being a Maltipoo, has separation anxiety. But Mindy knew taking Sassy for a walk right after we left would be a good distraction. She was also wonderful about sending pictures and videos especially that first day and that made us feel better about leaving her. By the second day Sassy was comfortable going straight to Mindy when we arrived. Also, she was very flexible regarding drop off and pick up times.”
About: I have raised two dogs (one large bread and one small bread) both from puppy to 16 & 17yrs old. I have had three cats (one still residing with me). Currently I dog sit two fur babies since 2020. In a week I am losing one of my buddies due to his parents relocating. I am already missing him and am hoping to make some new walking and cuddling partners. I work part time on weekends but can sit with advanced notice. Monday til Wednesday I am available for anytime on shorter notice. When I have your furry sweetheart I do not leave them by themselves at all,so I like to schedule when there is nothing to conflict with the time I have them. When in my house they have no restrictions from me, only what the parent wants. I have an outside bathroom area on leash for quick bathroom trips. I like to go for at least one or two long walks per day, weather permitting and your dogs abilities. I live in a walkable neighborhood and close to parks. When at your house I will follow whatever routine your partner is used to.

About: Grief has allowed me bond with dogs. They are so loving and caring. My dogs get me through the day. They recognize when I’m having a rough day. Wake up, get outside. I always make sure my large dogs rest before and after eating. Do not want their stomachs to flip. Walk my dogs every day no matter the weather. The exercise and fresh air is great for all of us. Send me a message and we can coordinate. My openings are flexible; I offer morning, midday, weekend, and evening check-ins, walks, and training. I know how important it is to trust someone in your home and with your pet. I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure, and I take a calm, patient approach, especially with shy or sensitive animals. I’m very attentive to safety (secure doors, safe feeding, clean spaces) and always make sure your home is left just as you expect. I’ll keep you updated with photos and notes so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.

About: I’ve had a family dog forever! Family and friends are always asking to take care of their pets for a quick walk, potty or dinner. I have my own dog that I take care of so I know how much someone can love their dog as if it’s their child. Your pet will be in good hands! I teach so I am off for the summers. I can drop in over the summer and walk your dog if you’re on a day trip hiking or to the beach! Your dog can even play with mine at a dog park if they get along, she’s up to date on shots and is very friendly! My dog is solely on leash unless she’s in a fenced in area, so I have no problem walking your dog on leash. I have taken care of dogs from 10 pounds to 70 pounds and all sorts of energy levels.

“This young couple was Awesome!! My elderly cat hides from strangers when they visit my home and has never stayed away from us. Plus she is Very insecure and needy with us, her pet parents. We Had to find a sitter for her due to a death in the family forcing us to travel out of town for several days.
