About: I have over forty years of dog experience. I bred German Shepherd’s for fifteen years. I have taken obedience, agility, and Nose work from local professional trainers and have done puppy, beginner, intermediate and advanced obedience with three of my dogs. I also worked for 1.5 years at a doggie daycare in Utica. I want to do my doggie daycare on a small scale so your pet receives individual attention. I have seen places doing 25- 50 dogs with only one or two people watching them and I feel there is a great need for care on a much smaller scale. So here I am! I retired from banking and with my husband live on our small farm in the country. We built what we call the dog arena for exercising our personal dogs and I intend to use it to also exercise my clients dogs. I am available most weekends and week days. I was working a part time job at a doggie daycare but recently decided that I would prefer to be home with my pups and yours! I have a large fenced in exercise area. I have gates in my home so I can gradually introduce our dogs or can keep them separate depending on individual needs.

About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. Been boarding and running daycare full time for 10+ years. I have studied dog behaviors, CPR trained, used to train and have spent my life learning dogs. I board 7 days a week and run daycare Tues-Fri We have a large dog specific room which daycare is run out of (while boarding your dog can join daycare for no extra cost) this room has a dog door that leads to the large fenced in yard. About: Raised a well trained border collie in high school and recently fostered a puppy that became a service dog through Dogs For Better Lives. We trained it for 14 months to prepare for service training. Typically the professional training takes 4-6 months but our boy graduated in 2.5. I love short, fun training sessions and consistency. I was a solo traveler living the vanlife but am back home helping my folks in Maryland. I love dogs but owning one would radically change my lifestyle. I’m hoping that through Rover I can still have some dog time on the road and take some good boys and girls for adventures outdoors. Primarily I like to do drop-in visit for walks and short training sessions. Once we build a rapport, I’d like to do hikes and overnight adventures.

Whether it's a bouncy puppy who needs extra patience and play, or a houseful of pets with different personalities, I'm completely in my element. I'm experienced handling high-energy dogs and juggling multiple pets at once — keeping everyone happy, safe, and on their routine is something I genuinely enjoy. Pet owners can feel at ease knowing their fur babies are in the hands of someone who treats them like my own. I'm attentive, reliable, and will always keep you updated with photos and check-ins so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing! I'm a teacher so until June 26, I can only do from 3:30 on during the week and then free on weekends. After June 26th I'm only working part time 8-11am Tuesdays and Thursdays so I'm available anytime after that! I am willing to bring pets to my moms if needed. I have an apartment and an animal of my own so my moms would be the better option. She has a quiet/comfortable home and a decent sized yard!

Growing up in this environment I know a lot about caring for animals. I am a very outgoing person who loves hiking, long walks to the park, and making homemade dog treats! I enjoy checking on cats and dogs, as well as providing plenty of play time. I’m a big fan of long walks on nice days! Safety is my priority! I have one pup of my own to keep yours company if you’d like. If not that’s okay too. She is a 20 lb shih tzu mix and loves to play! She is friendly with both dogs and cats. I offer all service options, from dog walking and check ins, to house and pet sitting.
About: I have personally had five family rescue dogs since the 1980s. The majority taken in from puppy stage up to 4 years of age. Most stayed with us through their senior years. I am retired from work and am available with a reliable vehicle equipped with pet crates for safe transportation or can travel to your home as necessary. I can care for your pet in my home on a 1-acre lot on a private road/area. Or, I can travel to your home as necessary.

About: From the excited, to the reserved, to the elderly, I have a depth of experience to care for your animal kin. I've helped care for senior dogs when they struggled to walk down stairs, when food requirements changed on a whim, when the house has to be changed to reduce trips on tiles, and even when they can start wandering past bed time. It was not easy to care for them as puppies and it's not easy when they are elderly. But if one loves enough when they are babies, then they love enough to do the same as they are seniors. I'm between jobs and actively looking, so I have plenty of time to care for all your animal family members beyond a stop to fill bowls and empty boxes and the like. It all comes down to the first meeting. Not the first job. I want to know what you, your pets, and your house is like so I can do my very best to be attentive and observent in caring for them. This includes setting up a person emergency plan for common emergency care should it arise. Preparedness beats panic after all!
About: Growing up, I've had a couple of dogs. Our first was a mix (part husky, terrier, etc.) named O'Doolie who lived to be 16! I was young when we had her, so I don't remember her puppy years. Our other dog we had since I was in elementary school up to my early 20s was Dixie Lee. She was a Miniature Schnauzer and was the sweetest dog ever! I enjoyed bathing her, brushing her teeth, and giving her so much love and attention. My husband and I work together as landscape designers! During the winter months, our schedule is very slow. This provides us more time to engage ourselves in other fun and creative endeavors! Currently, I have an unfenced backyard. I live with my husband in a small home. In the future, we’d love to put in a fence— we have just found we haven’t needed to just yet!

I keep a predictable routine while adjusting to each dog’s individual needs, energy level, and comfort. Whether it’s daily walks, enrichment, or quiet companionship, caring for dogs is something I truly enjoy and prioritize. I live in a quiet country home with plenty of outdoor space. While I don’t have a fenced yard, dogs are always supervised and taken outside on a leash so they can safely explore and enjoy the fresh air. Safety is always my top priority. Please let me know if your pup is off-leashed trained, so I may work with them after they are comfortable on the property. Dogs in my care will also have the companionship of my friendly corgi, Ginger, who is well-socialized and enjoys being around other dogs. The newest addition to my household is Nori, a corgi puppy. She currently has a lot of energy and is in training, doing very well. I follow each dog’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care needs, and I provide regular updates so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for. Your dogs and my dogs are allowed on the couch and the bed. We love to snuggle up!
