About: Welcome to my profile! For the past six years, I have studied and worked in Brooklyn, and I have delighted in walking and sitting dogs through Rover in each neighborhood I have lived in. Since moving away from home and having to leave the dogs I grew up with behind I love finding opportunities to spend time with animals and build trust and communication with them. My experience includes volunteering for animal rescues in DC and in Peru, sitting professionally for clients, and for friends, family, and neighbors, and working with positive reinforcement trainers for my family's dogs back home, who are reactive. I enjoy going on long walks, hikes, runs, and exploring the city, so if your dog is high energy, a puppy, or just needs a lot of stimulation and exercise, we would be a great fit! I also have experience watching older dogs or lower-energy breeds who simply need a calm place to stay. I can accommodate most schedules and reasonable requests, feel free to message if you have any questions and tell me more about your pup! One bonus - my apartment has an elevator and primate balcony with a potty area, so frequent potty breaks can be accommodated. Open to pickup and drop off, and last minute requests. I work at a lab 3 days a week, though I might have to go in on my off days to complete various tasks. Weekday sits work best for my schedule. My apartment is pretty dog-proofed. I make sure not to leave out anything toxic to dogs (gum, chocolate, etc...) and to put away anything I would not want to get destroyed. I am open to continuing any training you might have with your dog, such as sitting and waiting before a meal or ignoring other dogs on a walk.

About: I’ve helped take care of dogs since I was 10. I helped train our Bernese Mountain Dog puppy at a young age, and played a great role in taking care of her for the next six years. I’ve dog sat and dog walked friends and families dogs plenty of times over the past few years. Some of these dogs were beagles, labradors, retrievers, and collies. I’m currently an undergraduate student, I only have two or three classes a day and then I’m available for the rest of the day! When I’m on school breaks, I work a part time job, giving me a lot of free time to watch your fur baby. My house has a fenced in yard making it easy to take out your pet. About: I have experience taking care of pets, as I have owned a dog myself. I've worked in animal care most of my career, working for institutions such as The Buffalo Zoo, Hidden Valley Animal Adventure, Pet Supplies Plus, dog kennels, etc. I love being around animals, and intend to do so the rest of my life! I'm currently working as a personal trainer at Catalyst Fitness, so I am needed when clients have training sessions. However, this will never extend for more than a few hours (at most maybe 4-5) at a time. So even if I need to go to a training session(s), I can be right back to take care of the animals afterwards! About: My biggest concern while I’m away on vacation is “how are my dogs doing?” They are like my children. I have used Rover in the past to watch my dogs and home while I’m on vacation. Friends and families have relied on my for walking, watching, playing and feeding and bathing their dogs:) I’m currently working a full time job but I am able to watch your walk your dog on Sundays from 8am-2pm and Mondays from 8am-2pm. I always make sure my dogs get plenty of water, keep my full undivided attention on them and listen to any advice you give me for your pet to ensure their safety.
About: My fiancé and I are animal lovers through and through! We have 4 babies of our own. One of which is a service animal! Tahmi is a disabled veteran with years of animal experience from animal control. Marisa has years of experience volunteering and training. We are warm, kind hearted and compassionate people who would love your dogs as our own. We love to be outside every chance we get; meaning we can offer your pup(s) the exercise and play he/she needs! We’re homebody’s too and don’t mind staying in and giving your pup all the cuddles! We offer a variety of services at an affordable price! WEEKLY VISITS & WALKS: I am currently accepting new clients in need of weekly drop-in visits or dog walks. I have availability Monday-Friday. Walks and visits are typically, scheduled within a 2-hour window. —————————————————— HOUSE SITTING: (Non-Constant Daytime Care + Overnights) Rate: starting at $100/night House sitting includes overnight care and non-constant daytime care. I will spend a minimum of 8 hours overnight but typically, closer to 10-12 hours. During the day I am usually gone 3-8 hours. Then, I am back late afternoon/evening and stay overnight until the following morning. Occasionally, I may need to leave for 1-2 hours in the evening. —————————————————— DROP-IN VISITS 30 minute visit - $30 1 hour visit - $45 —————————————————— DOG WALKS 30 minute walk - $30 + $5 each additional dog 1 hour walk - $45 + $10 each additional dog - Walks may be shortened and finished as drop in visits in severe weather conditions determined by myself. —————————————————— CONSTANT CARE Minimum of 3 consecutive hours: $25 per hour Rover does not have an option to request visits longer than 1 hour. To request hourly care please send a “drop in visit” request and message me to discuss details. Prior to booking new clients I require a meet & greet with you and your pets in your home. This will allow us to determine if we will be a good match for each other.
About: Dog owner for 18+ years, trained as puppies and love to walk and play! Owner of a sweet, playful large breed dog who is great with kids and other dogs. She loves to make new friends! Let me take care of your precious pet while you're unable to. Love to go for walks and can accommodate overnight. Can also administer meds if needed. Car rides available to pets who love the wind in their face! (Portable steps used for ingress/egress). I will accommodate a single dog at a time, or multiple dogs from the same household. Can work with puppies in an open area or crate training. I would love to get to know and establish a routine with your pet, or just an occasional visit as needed. Can't wait to meet your furry friends! Daily time with my dog is a must, so I know how important it is that your pet is given the attention he or she deserves. I'm mostly available in the afternoon after work and weekends, with occasional extended availability. I have an open yard with a cable/pulley so dogs can run freely without being too constrained. Inside we use gates to limit what our furry friends can get into while providing the majority of the house to roam. Large crate is available for private time and soft blankets for a place to relax!

“Melissa and Gregory were incredible! This was our first time using Rover and they put us immediately at ease. They welcomed our rambunctious puppy into their home with open arms, making us feel confident that he would be well taken care of. He had some tummy troubles going on when we had to leave and they were so understanding, telling us not to worry. He made a mess in his crate one night because of this and they were so understanding, not bothered at all. They cooked up his brat diet (ground beef and rice) for several days until his stomach was working better. Leo came back to us healthy and happy. I highly recommend Melissa and Greg - they are just super!”
