It was obvious Charlie wasn’t just being watched—he was having the time of his life. What impressed us most was Geoffrey’s attention to every detail. During the heat wave, he kept Charlie cool and comfortable, communicated any concerns right away, and shared thoughtful suggestions like adding chicken and eggs to his kibble or bringing a shirt that smelled like us to help Charlie settle in. Our dog normally eats less when we’re away, but with Geoffrey, he thrived. Seeing Charlie walk in the Fourth of July parade was just the icing on the cake. Geoffrey is truly a dog whisperer. About: I've taken care of all types of dogs for over 21 years. I'll treat any dog as if it was my own. I have a large backyard in the country on a private road that is a self contained peninsula right on the banks of the West Canada Creek. With miles of well maintained walking paths through the woods and on the Creek's bank, there is no shortage of places to go on adventures, all without having to worry about anyone else. If I ever need to leave, you can rest assured that you're pup won't be lonely, as my retired parents also live just a quarter mile away. My dad, Steve, is especially helpful, and is always there to come down and stay with your pet, let the them out/walk them. He's happy to meet you and your dog(s) during a meet and greet beforehand as well. I recently was 100% working from home. However, my jobs now requires me to be in office Mon-Fri from 7:30-4:00. My dad, Steve, will step in and make sure your dog gets one-on-one special care while I'm away. He's retired and lives just 1/4 mile away. He's a character himself, and has been my second hand man from the start. Sleep well knowing that his animal experience, and understanding of dogs is just as good as mine. If needed, I have indoor cameras to monitor, and even speak with both your pup if both me my dad happen to be away. So nothings ever going to catch me off guard. All dogs have their own unique needs, so I'm going to rely on you and I will ask you for any specifics your pet(s) might need. I will tailor my care based on your input. Just to illustrate both ends of the spectrum , if you want me to crate your dog, I can do that. I'm also totally fine giving free reign to my house if your dog is trustworthy not to do any damage. If their are worries about your pet getting into anything and doing any property damage, I'm very diligent in making sure I remove anything that could cause an issue (including putting up gates, providing stimulation toys, and making sure there is nothing he/she can get into food wise). If you want to board your pet with me, typically I'll do a meet and greet at my place to introduce myself to you and your pet(s), as well as show you my property both inside my house as well as my large countryside property. If your not boarding at my house, depending on where you live, I can meet at your place to meet you and your dogs. I know what a dog with separation anxiety can do, and know how expensive the damages can be. Thankfully, my retired parents live just up the road and can make sure your pup isn't alone for anymore than a few hours at most during the workweek. My dad is still very active and great with dog walks. So if for some reason I am stuck at work that day, my dad can come down to visit your pet, take her for a walk, or just keep company. Lastly, I have an 15 year old female Terrier mix that stays with my retired parents just up the road, she's very sweet with other dogs and cats, and is only 18 lbs. If I have to leave your pup alone for a few hours, she can provide company to your dog as well, supervised by my dad, if wanted. This is totally up to you, though.

I have experience with both small and large breeds, from young puppies to large dogs like Great Danes, as well as cats. I work from home, which allows me to be readily available throughout the day to give your pet plenty of attention, care, and supervision. I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate walks, feedings, playtime, and any special routines your pet may need. Your pet will never be left without care or attention. I don’t have children, which creates a calm and stress-free environment—ideal for pets who may not be accustomed to kids. I know several enclosed dog parks where dogs can safely play, socialize, and burn off energy. My home is clean, secure, and pet-friendly. If I stay at a client’s home, I also provide light cleaning services to maintain a tidy and comfortable environment. I have a reliable car for any emergencies or vet visits, and I am attentive, responsible, and committed to providing a safe, loving, and comfortable space for every pet.

About: i’m a first year college student pursuing a degree in science and mathematics. my goal is to have a career in wildlife rehabilitation or veterinary care. i also have experience within EMS & firefighting as i’ve been a volunteer since 16. i’ve always loved animals of any kind and have been in aw by my own pets. i have 2 cats and 2 dogs, but currently live with only my senior cat. shes very specific but i make sure to keep up on her needs and do whatever i can for my baby. my apartment doesn’t allow for animals but since being away i miss being around my dogs and other pets. i have experience looking after family and friends pets, but would love to start taking care of more pets within my community and gain more experience! i’m currently on summer break working a part time job, but have a flexible schedule. i like to go outside to parks, find good places to hike, and staying active. with bookings i will make sure to keep myself available or work with your schedule, whether that be for mornings, evenings, or even overnight. i’m also available the weekends. once school begins i will still be able to remain flexible. my senior cat sofia is specific with her needs, whether that’s the food she eats, the places she sleeps, or the litter i get. whatever her needs may be, whether she likes her hard food or gets sick of and only wants wet food, i make sure to listen. when she’s having a stomach ache or under the weather, i’m alerted and get her the best care i can provide. when it comes to family or friends animals like their dogs i like to spend a lot of time with them outside, taking them to parks, and even to hike depending on the kind of dog and their energy level. for clients i’ll ensure to keep them updated on their pets and if their were special instructions on how they want their pet to be treated i will do my best to make sure they are safe and well cared for.
