About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.

My Boxer has separation anxiety so bad she got severe colitis last time I had to travel, so I knew a kennel setting would not be good for her. “I can't say enough about Rory D. Her home was clean, neat, and very organized. She had a separate "bedroom" where Gigi would spend the night and relax when other pets were in the house. During her stay Rory gave Gigi the opportunity to meet and forge a friendship with another cat. I was so pleased! Rory followed all care requests. Rory sent pictures and videos of Gigi throughout her stay. Gigi appeared very content and happy. Gigi was well cared for and healthy when I picked her up at the end of her stay. About: I’ve always had cats around and have taken care of strays and making sure they always got the love and food they needed! I’ve recently started to help take care of family and friends cats and have researched and learned a lot of things. I love to give my kitty friends space when they need it and all the love and snuggles. I love deep cleaning litter boxes to make sure that they have a clean place to go potty. I also enjoy brushing cats and am very good at getting their nails clipped, even if they’re grumpy!

About: In my life, I always had pets/family members to care for and love. I enjoyed walking them, giving them baths, play with them and give them hugs and kisses. Today I have 9 dogs, Shih Tzu, Beagle, chihuahua/pomeranian mix, Black Labs, German Sheperds, Blue tick hound and a Saint Bernard, 3 cats and a bearded dragon of my own. I am comfortable giving oral meds, comfortable learning other routes of medication administration if needed. Currently will only board cats from the same home or young puppies (message for more details) at a time due to other animals in the house. Your fur baby will have their very Owen room with a gate door that is about 6ft tall to keep them safe and comfortable when I am not watching them or letting them out for play time. I will follow your set schedule for feedings and play time. If I am boarding an animal they are my soul focus till pick up time. I offer daily or every other day pictures/video updates of your pet, my phone is always on so you can always reach me about any concerns. I have one cat and two dogs in the house. They will remain separated from your animal at all times for safety and comfort of your beloved pet. All animals in the house are fully vaccinated including kennel cough. About: Albeit having no years of 'professional' caring, I have been a dog and cat mom all of my life. Since I was born my family has had 2-3 dogs and 5-6 cats at a time on our farm, and I raised, trained and took care of all of them myself since my parents were not too big on animals. The sole reason we had so many is because we lived on a farm and I adored them. Every year of my life I have cared for at least one animal or another, ever since I was in grade school. For cats and dogs alike, I myself used to bathe them, feed them, groom them and take them to the vet if they were sick. As of right now, I have no animals to look after, so I would love to put those skills to good use. This being said, I have ample experience with animals, and I adore them. I have babysat animals for my friends several times, always without incident. I understand their signs and needs, have plenty of patience and can be gentle but firm when needed. I treat them as if they were my own children. I am also a trained emergency service medical provider, so I know how to perform first aid and lifesaving measures if need be (not that it will ever be needed, don't worry!). I am flexible with the services I provide: if your pet has any special needs/medications that they need to take/any sicknesses, or anything else, inform me and I will be happy to babysit for them and care for them for as long as you need! Some of the services I can provide include but are not limited to: bathing, walking, training, and cuddling! I will treat your babies with love and kindness while you're away! Rest assured, they will be in good, trained hands. I currently work from home, and would have no problem going on walks or playing games such as fetch to tire out high energy dogs! I already have a daily routine with my own dog, which consists of taking him on regular potty breaks, brushing his teeth, and playing games to tire him out if its too cold to go on walks outside! We have a yard thats not fenced in, but have lines and long leashes to take your fur baby outside! There is one senior dog, one younger dog, and to cats all to give company to your pet! Both dogs are very friendly, and the cats mostly keep to themselves in the room. The dogs will always be in my sight, so that we can hang out, play, and I can tend to their needs! There are plenty of toys to share, plenty of treats to go around (unless stated otherwise) and plenty of friends to play with.

About: I have a lot of experience with all kinds of animals, from dogs to hamsters to creased geckos. My dog cookie is one of the most kind, loving animals, along with my hedgehogs. I’ve been told that my animals are very well taken care of and I pride my self on that. I promise to care for your animals the same way I care for mine. One of my goals in life is to pet as many dogs as I can throughout my life, gotta live your best life you know? Throughout my 9 years of caring for my dog the only health problem she’s ever had was to fatty tumors and I caught them fast so it wasn’t a big deal because we got them remove. I took some classes and this one I took at my vet which I was amazed because they taught me how to drain the adrenaline glands and some dogs have a severe issue with that quite often. My dog does! There are classes that you can go in and they will take the time and show you for some things. I like to to participate in these classes so I have knowledge when it comes time to if anything happens. I started dog walking at 12 years old. A long with other jobs of course throughout life. I have been pet sitting for almost 15 years. I travel and do pet sitting, I stay over night a lot. The most was a week that I worked for with a client and stayed at their house the whole time. I will also do day sitting or check-ins but mostly overnight and pet sitting during the day at my clients homes. Traveling is a lot and a lot of people like when you stay at their homes with their animals and care for them. The animals are safe and feel comfortable in their own environment. I make sure that all my fur babies are cared for, loved, given the attention that they need and all their needs are met. I am a traveling pet sitter now. I use to board animals in my home until I sold my house just recently. Now, I travel to my clients homes. I mostly stay overnight and for more than one day because my clients go away on vacation. I do many services for my clients. I walk your animal, feed your animal whether if it’s can food, dry food or home made food which I have made home made food for my fur babies before and still do. I administer medication to animals, groom them, brush, bathe, keep them active and help them with their mobility, Play, do fun activities with my fur babies, train, keep them busy and entertained and plenty more. I make sure your animal is well cared for, loved like he or she was my own, given the attention it needs, Be happy and even more. I go over and beyond for my fur babies and each and everyone always feels safe, comfortable, loved, happy and etc….. I have a lot of clients and some of them I care for during the Summer when they go away a lot and some of my clients I care for during the week and in wknds. I am very easy to work with because I am a good person. Good people work with good people. All my clients know how caring I am and feel good about leaving their loved ones with me.

About: Have trained and raised 3 beautiful dogs and have family within the foster and veterinary fields. Having a few pit bulls, have basic obedience and leash walking training..we live super close to the water as well as dog parks and playgrounds and would love to help other pups have a good and safe life:) Or a cozy environment if your fur baby prefers a calm safe space. One of us works from home, mainly nights, so there is always someone around to take care of the precious pup..and our weekends consist of hikes, water adventures, less reactive trails, and movie parties! We have a closed in 3 floor apartment as well as multiple courtyards and doggy parks right around the corner from where we live. We live directly next to a school so a fenced in playground (without other dogs) is also available. We have a large and small sized crate with lots of enrichment treat, toys, galore !

About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.
