About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.

My Boxer has separation anxiety so bad she got severe colitis last time I had to travel, so I knew a kennel setting would not be good for her. “I can't say enough about Rory D. Her home was clean, neat, and very organized. She had a separate "bedroom" where Gigi would spend the night and relax when other pets were in the house. During her stay Rory gave Gigi the opportunity to meet and forge a friendship with another cat. I was so pleased! Rory followed all care requests. Rory sent pictures and videos of Gigi throughout her stay. Gigi appeared very content and happy. Gigi was well cared for and healthy when I picked her up at the end of her stay. About: I’ve always had cats around and have taken care of strays and making sure they always got the love and food they needed! I’ve recently started to help take care of family and friends cats and have researched and learned a lot of things. I love to give my kitty friends space when they need it and all the love and snuggles. I love deep cleaning litter boxes to make sure that they have a clean place to go potty. I also enjoy brushing cats and am very good at getting their nails clipped, even if they’re grumpy!

About: Hi! I have always loved animals, and have grown up with dogs and cats all my life! I moved to Collins in 2024 to a property with 30 acres of mostly wooded land with a dog kennel, cat house and barn! The property has a huge area for dogs to run and play. We are working on repairing a huge fenced in area right now, so we would walk around the property on a leash always. I have woods and trails on my property that I love to take walks through. Your pet and I will have so much fun together, I like to be very active and really enjoy hiking and playing with my dog. My playful dog would also love a friend to play with! Natalie took the time to come learn how to administer all of the medications so my cat could stay at home and be comfortable while I was away. Natalie arrived promptly each time and spent time to make sure everything was perfect. I had a fairly large checklist of items that needed to be done daily and Natalie took care of everything exactly the way I asked. This was the first time having someone come to my home to take care of my pet; however, Natalie went above and beyond to make sure everything went perfect while I was away, even bringing in my mail! About: I was a dog runner in NYC for 2 years, I grew up with a hunting dog, I've had multiple Chihuahuas as pets. I also have tended to all my dogs needs, included bathing and nail trimming. About: Albeit having no years of 'professional' caring, I have been a dog and cat mom all of my life. Since I was born my family has had 2-3 dogs and 5-6 cats at a time on our farm, and I raised, trained and took care of all of them myself since my parents were not too big on animals. The sole reason we had so many is because we lived on a farm and I adored them. Every year of my life I have cared for at least one animal or another, ever since I was in grade school. For cats and dogs alike, I myself used to bathe them, feed them, groom them and take them to the vet if they were sick. As of right now, I have no animals to look after, so I would love to put those skills to good use. This being said, I have ample experience with animals, and I adore them. I have babysat animals for my friends several times, always without incident. I understand their signs and needs, have plenty of patience and can be gentle but firm when needed. I treat them as if they were my own children. I am also a trained emergency service medical provider, so I know how to perform first aid and lifesaving measures if need be (not that it will ever be needed, don't worry!). I am flexible with the services I provide: if your pet has any special needs/medications that they need to take/any sicknesses, or anything else, inform me and I will be happy to babysit for them and care for them for as long as you need! Some of the services I can provide include but are not limited to: bathing, walking, training, and cuddling! I will treat your babies with love and kindness while you're away! Rest assured, they will be in good, trained hands. I currently work from home, and would have no problem going on walks or playing games such as fetch to tire out high energy dogs! “Jenn took care of my 9 yr. old chihuahua Saturday-Sunday. We did a meet and greet at Jenn’s house the Wednesday before. I liked her right away and I could tell she loves animals. This is the first time leaving my pup overnight at someone else’s house. Jenn did an awesome job of taking care of Mia! She also sent me updates of photos and texts. I will definitely be using her again. I highly recommend her!”
About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.

My Boxer has separation anxiety so bad she got severe colitis last time I had to travel, so I knew a kennel setting would not be good for her. Getting pictures of the dogs completely relaxed and comfortable put my fears at rest almost immediately! Katie took excellent care of the dogs and took care on my worries as well! I would recommend her without hesitation :)”
About: I’ve cared for friends’ and family members’ dogs and cats for years and truly love being around animals. I’m also a proud owner of an 80-lb Bernese Mountain Dog, so I’m comfortable caring for larger dogs and understand the patience, attention, and love they need. I’ll treat your pets like family, whether that means going for walks, playing, giving plenty of belly rubs, or settling in for some good snuggles. 🐾❤️ I have a flexible schedule and am available for daytime and evening drop-ins, as well as weekends. I’m happy to work around your schedule and your pet’s routine, whether they need a quick potty break, a walk, some playtime, or extra snuggles while you’re away! I have a spacious, open yard with a zip line for supervised outdoor play and plenty of room for your pup to get some exercise and fresh air. I’m also comfortable with crate training and can crate your pet when needed or as part of their normal routine.

My dog is very expressive and we could really tell he was SO happy there- when we picked him up, it was so clear he LOOOVED them. About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my entire life, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve cared for pets with different personalities, energy levels, routines, and needs, and I understand how important it is to make them feel comfortable when their people are away. I’m patient, attentive, dependable, and genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet individually. Whether they need walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, or just someone to keep them company, I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I give my own pets. My schedule is currently very flexible, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I’m available throughout the week and can accommodate a variety of schedules and routines. Whether your pet needs companionship, playtime, walks, feeding, or just someone nearby to make them feel comfortable, I’m happy to work around their normal routine. I understand that every pet is different, and I believe their care should reflect that. I take the time to learn each pet’s normal routine, personality, boundaries, feeding schedule, and individual needs. I will always respect the instructions and preferences you provide and prioritize your pet’s safety and comfort. My goal is to make their time with me feel as familiar, comfortable, and stress free as possible.
