“This Australian Shepherd Fenway’s second stay with Jessie. When we pulled up to Jessie’s place Fen was eager to get out and was very eager to go inside Jessie’s house. Fen’s reaction was key in letting me know what his first experience was like with Jessie. In both Fen’s stay there were multiple dogs there already, everyone was very calm and welcoming of the new guest and everyone appeared to get along extremely well. Jessie is soft spoken and has a very calm demeanor, this is obviously transferred into the dogs during their stay. Jessie was very good at keeping me updated during Fen’s stay with text and photos, I really appreciated. I honestly don’t know how this experience could have gone better for Fen or myself.”

“Lourdes is AWESOME!!! Teddy stayed with her for 3 nights and I think he wants to go back. lol. When I went to drop Teddy off, she gave me a tour of her house to let me know what kind of environment/setup she has. She also let me meet some of her family members who are also very sweet. While Teddy was staying with her, I got 22 pictures and multiple videos through out the stay to let me know Teddy is doing just fine. She also sent me texts throughout the stay just to let me know how Teddy is doing. During the night, she even put a little sweater on Teddy to make sure he doesn’t get cold. My family and I were going to Canada and I was super nervous because I was going so far away, but Lourdes definitely made me at ease and my family enjoyed every single pictures and vidoes she sent us. She is going to be on the top of my very short list of people and places that I can trust Teddy with.”

He had his cone, lots of medications, and was more uncomfortable than we had expected. She was so patient with him, help with tapering his meds over his recovering, transitioned him back to his normal food, and gave him lots of love. She was fantastic with updates too. About: I have always had dogs and cats as a part of my family and I also spent a lot of time cat sitting for friends and family. My family fostered puppies and dogs for several years through a local organization! I am in school studying animal behavior and have done an internship at a cat shelter giving enrichment and behavior training to the particularly shy cats. About: I set out to adopt a bunny, I came home with a cat, it was the best decision ever. My 17 lb dude lived until about 15 years old with a heart murmur. He was buddy, I taught him tricks, I gave him baths, did his pedicures, rubbed his belly, walked with him on leash... All the things most cats wouldn't prefer, Alex and I worked on together throughout his life. I've been in love with the little purr monsters ever since my heart cat came into my life. My room mates cat lives with me now and he's the boss of the house.
About: i got my first dog when i was 5 years old and since then i have taken care of every dog in my family. I have grown up with dogs cats reptiles and everything in between. I even helped my grandmas dog birth 11 healthy pups and raised them for 3 months!! I used to train and show dogs when I was younger, and can help get your puppy off on the right foot with house training. Dog sitting is my only job, and my flexible schedule revolves around that. I can be available at any reasonable time for pick-up and drop off appointments. I'm home almost all of the time to be with the dogs, only leaving to run brief errands when necessary. All dogs are cared for in my home. I have a large, securely fenced in back yard. During the day, dogs are free to be outside to play in the backyard as much as they wish. All dogs sleep in large crates or X-pens in our comfortable dog room at night, or when we are not home. We have a young cavalier who would be happy to have new friends to play with. For safety, I separate dogs for feeding and if we're out of the house, although it's rare that no one is home. Guests need to like other dogs and people.

About: I've raised two energetic puppies through adolescence and frequently provide dog-sitting services for friends in the area. I also have experience working as an enrichment specialist at a well-known doggy daycare in Rochester and volunteering as a foster for local rescues. I am experienced with anxious dogs and can adapt to your fur-baby's specific needs. I'm trained in basic human and canine CPR, and I'm skilled at recognizing early signs of reactive behavior in animals. While I'm not perfect, I'm highly attentive. Since I’m home most of the time, I’ll ensure your pet stays healthy, happy, and safe! We are an adventure duo -- you can catch us at the beach playing fetch in the water, hiking, or just taking long strolls along the canal! On days where the weather is rainy, we still get 3 walks a day (morning, noon, evening) with thorough wipe downs after! Meal times are interwoven with short training sessions. I have dedicated several rooms in my house to doggy activity areas -- agility equipment, floor mats, etc (see photos). Grooming is done very regularly. My pup has environmental allergies so we also do a water rinse daily when we return from our adventures. When your baby stays with me, they will receive the same treatment (if they are comfortable getting brushed). He is my entire life and I couldn’t be happier! I have included photos of my home (and the excessive amount of dog toys we own) in my profile. Several of the rooms in my house are dedicated to doggy activities/enrichment and I also have a fenced in yard. I have also made sure that my set up allows me to separate dogs from each other if they ever get over stimulated -- I have enough rooms where each dog can be in their own room. I also have a doggy door so most days when the weather is not atrocious the dogs can relieve themselves/play as they please. Also my sun room is dedicated to dog care so if need be I can gate off/separate pooches that get too worked up (or just need privacy eating). I do have two crates — one for super small dogs and the other for dogs up to 35 lbs. My dog is crate trained but prefers free range so I have dog beds in every single room. Dogs are welcome on furniture but please make sure they have been recently bathed (within a few days before) if you are boarding as we keep our home extremely clean (the carpets get washed every month and vacuum and swiffering are done daily). We are probably not a good fit if your dog does not get along with other dogs, because my dog is still young and very energetic. If your dog does not like to play but does not react aggressively to other dogs attempting to initiate play, Momo would be fine as he does eventually give up if the other dog does not engage him at all. When we schedule a meet and greet, you can expect to meet us outside the front yard for a couple block long walk together before going to the backyard to let the pooches sniff each other out. Since Momo is a chow-mix, he is protective by nature and does not like it if other fur-babies he does not know well try to jump on his mom so I will likely only greet your baby after I put him back in the house.
About: I cared for my dog for 11 years until she passed, and now I wish to make other dogs happy and safe. Will take care of your dog as if it were my own. I would be available as needed basis. I do have a friend who would help during the day if I have to do contract work. I would give them the attention they deserve to make them not feel lonely. Try to keep their mind active from thinking they were abandoned.

We have always had more than one dog in the house but we recently lost one to cancer, So caring for your pet would be a thrill to both me and my pet, I have recently retired form the school system and found that I have a lot of extra time that I could spend with your pet, playing and training basic commands. About: I've had several dogs in my life, smaller and larger dogs. I had a cocker spaniel mix when I was a kid, a collie when my kids were young, and most recently a German shepherd. Each had their own personality and I have special memories of each one of them. I have taken care of older dogs and younger dogs. I can handle the energy of younger dogs and the needs of older ones. I have a fairly flexible work from home job, so while pet sitting I will be with your pets for the majority of the time. My own dogs are all high needs. About: I've cared for animals my entire life from hamsters to cattle.. but dogs are my love! I have experience with all types and sizes, but specialize in bully breeds and mastiffs. It's important to me that dogs are balanced with training and play (which they'll get with me!). I'm also proficient in training tools such as prong and e-collars in case your pup is in training and needs continuation during our time together. I work full time from home with a flexible schedule. My work day schedule allows for drop-ins and walks given adequate notice. Emergency visits/walks are also available as I know how tough it can be when those last minute changes come up. Pet sitting in your home is preferred. I've found that this keeps your pup(s) more comfortable and less stressed during your time away. Each situation is different, and I'm open to chat through different options.

About: I love hiking and snuggling with my fur babies and hope to share the love with your fur family. I’ve fostered pups of all ages with different behavioral styles and volunteered for a handful of shelters and rescues. I do pop ins for a few locals in town and of course for my family. For me, there’s nothing more therapeutic than a fur baby and nature. I’d like to think I repay them for their endless love by easing their nerves while you’re away. I'm currently a dog Mawma to my 95 lb lap dog, Leana and a 25 lb pot cake, Millie. Leana is reactive on leash and takes strength on walks. And quite opposite of Leana, Millie is trained to walk off leash. My previous pup was a 100 lb pure bred Swissy (also a lap dog) who I lost to cancer. I was laid off from my up-tight corporate job and I'm looking to go back to what I know and love, animals. I own my house in Mt. Morris, NY (with a fenced yard!) and I spend a lot of time in Seabreeze/E. Irondequoit, NY, so my range in location is pretty wide. I'm currently available to stay in your home while you're on vacation, tend to your pets for an evening out, or make sure your pet gets the potty breaks and walks needed during a long work day. At my house in Mt. Morris, I have a fenced yard with 2 dogs and a cat, and my housemate. All are people and dog friendly. At your home, I'd abide by your requests.
About: When I was in middle school, my science teacher went to the Philippines for the whole summer. I took care of her mices, dogs, guinea pigs and more. Growing up in Iowa, I have been around many animals including dogs. Also I have had friends who traveled to Europe and they had to leave their poodles, black labs and many more and trusted their dogs in my care at their home for a month or two weeks if needed when I lived in Washington state before moving to Honeoye Falls. When I dog sat, I made sure I gave medicine as instructed to the dogs as needed. I played with them, took them hiking, the beach, cuddled on the couch and learned about what they liked and don’t like and what makes them happy. I made sure that their owners were happy as well. When I was asked to come and dog sit again, the dogs would be waiting at the window waiting for my arrival. These dogs were sure happy to see me when I came back to dog sit them! I have plenty of time to play with your pups 🐶I would be available for boarding on the weekends and week days after 4pm. I would be happy to give lots of love and attention/play to your fur babies! I have a fenced yard and have two fur babies who love to socialize. I also love to spoil your dogs too! I work from home twice a week and can pet sit on the weekends as well! As for dog sitting in the client’s home I would treat your place with respect, love and care. Anything you need I will make sure that your pets receive it. I will also communicate and send pictures!

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 12. I looked after neighborhood dogs when the family would be out of town. I walk them, feed them, play with them, and have had dogs stay with me at my home. I take care of my own dog and we are very active. Being active is part of my dog’s breed and is something I could provide for animals that are at home while owners are at work or out of town. I live in a townhome with one dog that will keep your pet busy! Sage loves to play, run, and swim. As far as going to other homes I have stayed in the home for a couple hours playing with the animals. Either one works for me. When we do have another dog stay with us, we constantly stay active and also have time for rest. Dog parks, hikes, walking on the beach, are some examples of activities that I have done with other dogs.
