“My little one had such a great experience with Polina. She was very kind and her family was welcoming. Throughout the stay, I was updated and sent photos. I will definitely work with her in future.”

“Rachel was easy to communicate with and very flexible when our plans changed. Emma loved being at her home with her dog and kids. I think Emma enjoyed herself just as much as we did on our trip. We would definitely use Rachel’s services again.”

“Lindsey was amazing with my dog, Teddy! He had such a great time on her farm — it truly felt like a little vacation for him. She took wonderful care of him and kept me updated with fantastic photos and detailed messages about how he was doing. I really appreciated the communication and felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. I would happily recommend Lindsey to anyone and will definitely book with her again in the future!”

“Took great care of our pup despite some anxiety that she had during her stay, and was very communicative during her stay. We received plenty of photos and videos which put our mind at ease! We know Maple is in good hands with Hujin!”

“Carrie and her husband took excellent care of my almost 16 year old pug. I haven’t left her with anyone else in a very long time so was a little nervous, for both her and the sitter. She kept me updated with texts and pictures and was told she was just fine. I’m hoping she can go there again when I need overnight stays.”

“I am so glad I booked a stay here for my dogs. Teresa was great with letting me know what was going on and very responsive when I sent a message. The space they have for dogs is cute and it is clean. Ruby and Baxter were well taken care of. You won't regret booking Teresa and Dan to look after your dogs.”

“Being our first board with our puppy we were very apprehensive. We got numerous photos from Jocelyn a day. Many including her family. Really put us at ease. Definitely would bring her back.”

“Ashley was great with our dog, Oreo! She was super flexible when we weren't able to come back to town as early as we wanted and sent us updates with pictures. She was also very active with our pup -taking him for walks and to the park. I will definitely go to Ashley the next time we need a sitter!”

“Eleanor had a phenomenal time staying with Leanna and Roxy! Eleanor settled right in and thoroughly enjoyed play time with Roxy. I highly recommend Leanna and look forward to having Eleanor stay with her again.”

“Sarah was wonderful! We received update photos every day and our pup came home clearly well cared for and happy after over a week of being away. We were worried about our small dog being around her larger ones, but she arranged a meet and greet prior to taking King Tut. Her dogs were sweet and gentle with him. During the week we got photos of all three happily cuddled together. Would recommend Sarah S. and would definitely return should we need a dog-sitter!”

“Tiffany did a great job taking care of my pup for 3 days. She’s got a great fenced in yard to play in, she took her for walks & sent plenty of pics & updates. My dog & hers got along great; we’ll definitely use Tiffany again. I highly recommend Tiffany to take care of your pup!”

“We are new to the area so it’s always difficult to trust someone new with your puppy. But, Susan was very professional and by the book which put our worries to ease. She was a great host to our puppy and took care of him pretty well.”

“We are so thankful Stephanie could watch Marcy for us especially on last minute notice! It’s always good when Marcy comes home tired from playing, and I can tell she had a great time playing with Stephanie’s dogs. Thank you!!”
“Georgianne was so responsive and easy to work with. She handled both of my cats with ease and was just an overall wonderful person. I would definitely recommend her!”

About: I have been a devoted animal lover and pet owner for many years, and caring for both cats and dogs has always been a true passion of mine. I understand that pets are beloved family members, each with their own unique personalities, routines, and needs, and I treat every animal with the same love, patience, and respect that I give my own. I am dependable, compassionate, and attentive to detail. Whether your pet is an energetic dog, a playful cat, a shy rescue, or a senior or special-needs companion, I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My experience with rescue animals and special-needs pets has taught me to be especially patient and observant, allowing me to quickly notice changes in behavior or health. Nothing makes me happier than earning an animal’s trust and ensuring they receive exceptional care while their family is away. My goal is to provide not only outstanding care for your pets, but also complete peace of mind for you. As a full-time high school teacher, I maintain a structured and dependable schedule, working from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM during the school year. This allows me to provide pet visits during the midday, if needed, and dedicated walks and care immediately after the school day. Caring for animals is an important part of my daily life. I share my home with two dogs, who enjoy their walks as soon as I return home, as well as my cats, who are part of my evening routine. This firsthand experience as a pet owner helps me understand the importance of consistency, exercise, affection, and attentive care. In addition to my availability during the school year, I have school vacations, holidays, and summers off, which provides greater flexibility to accommodate your schedule and your pets' needs. I am committed to providing reliable, compassionate, and professional care so you can feel confident that your pets are in excellent hands. I provide attentive, personalized care in your home so that your pets can remain comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their regular routines. I understand that consistency is important for reducing stress and helping pets feel secure while their families are away. During each visit, I ensure that your pets have fresh food and water, clean litter boxes or potty areas, exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection. For dogs, this includes walks, outdoor breaks, and interactive play tailored to their energy level and needs. For cats, I provide feeding, litter box maintenance, enrichment, and quiet companionship on their terms. I am experienced in caring for rescue, senior, and special-needs pets, including administering oral medications when needed. I take the time to observe each pet’s behavior and overall well-being, and I will promptly communicate any concerns. I also respect your home and will keep feeding areas, litter boxes, and pet spaces clean and tidy. You can expect regular updates, photos, and clear communication so you have peace of mind knowing your pets are safe, comfortable, and receiving loving, professional care.

“Tia and her family were great! Our dog Pepper has a lot of anxiety, but she settled in very well at Tia’s house. They were really great about helping her get accustomed to the environment and all the new people and animals and also keeping us updated about how she was doing throughout her stay. Excellent experience and will definitely book again!”

About: I have had lifelong experience caring for animals of all sizes and personalities. I currently care for two 7-year-old German Shepherds and a 9-year-old cat, and I also cared for my other 9-year-old cat until he recently passed away. Growing up with pets taught me responsibility, patience, and how important it is to make animals feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I understand that every pet has different needs, and I’ll always treat yours with the same care and attention I give my own.

“We had a great experience with John. We did a first meet-and-greet at our home so our cat could get to know him, and that made a big difference. During the weekend he stayed at our place, our cat felt comfortable and well cared for. John was very responsive with messages and adapted perfectly to our cat’s routine: she likes to go outside for a couple of minutes to feel the cold and get some fresh air, then come back in for treats. Overall, it was a great decision and we would definitely book with him again.”

“Heather is a fabulous Cat Sitter. The 4 cats were fed well while I was gone. They are all leary of strangers, however three of them couldn't resist meeting Heather. Dew boy was the only holdout, his loss. Heather also brought in mail and spread some salt on the steps from the snow that fell. She sent great photos too !”

“Rachael did a great job with Theo! She sent updates and pics which were so appreciated. We have never done anything like this before (hiring from Rover) and will definitely use Rachael again. Thank you!”

“Sophie treated Rupert to excellent Rover quality service. Rupert was even so excited everyday to ensure he showed his prized possession to her everyday. The service was super understanding of military timing and requirements … hands down use Sophie time and time again.”

“Katrina is great! My 2 pitties can be a bit much at times but she handles them wonderfully and doesn't let them get away with being naughty. She is also flexible and accommodating with changing times when theres been a change to our normal routine/schedule. Highly recommend Katrina's services.”

About: I love all animals big and small! I have a variety of experience. I grew up taking care of a Rottweiler and currently have a pit and two cats. I have volunteered at shelters, fostered numerous dogs to include a deaf dog with seizures, interned at a wildlife rehab center for a year, and worked at the Philadelphia Zoo taking care of the goats yard. I worked for 3 years at VIP pet care holding the animals, administering shots , microchips, blood draws and supervising the clinics. I love hiking and anything outdoors so walking your pup would be great for both your pup and myself! 🙂 I’m currently working full time and another part time job so am currently only offering walking services to work around my busy schedule. “Anna was a wonderful pet sitter! She was very kind, caring, and attentive to my two cats and two guinea pigs, and I could tell she really took the time to make sure they were well taken care of. She also spent plenty of time playing with my cats, which I really appreciated. Anna was very responsive whenever we needed to text her about something, and overall she made the whole experience feel easy and reassuring. I would definitely rebook with her!”

“Stephanie takes care of the dogs like they are her own! We get pictures of play time, running with her dog Sophie, tonight there was a wonderful picture of our dogs sleeping on the floor because they were so tired of all the fun when they visit Stephanie. We give her the highest rating, and would bring our dogs back anytime! What a gem!”

“She was awesome! We were in town for the weekend, needed a sitter for Max for Saturday, and she was able to accommodate us. Will definitely go back when we come back to Syracruse! Max had fun and slept like a baby that night lol She was easy to reach by text, responded in an appropriate amount of time, and her property was away from the road, giving us piece of mind. About: *Please read through and understand my policies before booking - your pets well-being is what is most important to me! I have taken care of various pets since I was a kid. I have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, fish, and bearded dragons! I have always been the family/friend go-to for help with animals whether it is walking dogs, house-sitting, ect. I am a huge animal advocate and a Humane Policy Leader Volunteer with the ASPCA. Throughout high school and college, I looked for opportunities to help animals at an individual level (doing some rescue work, rehab work, fundraising, ect.), and it has greatly improved my knowledge about providing care for animals of various needs. I take the health and safety of animals very seriously, and will treat yours as my own. If you book a 24 hour+ period with me as your pet’s only caregiver, I require a minimum of 3 visits daily and will not allow your dog to be alone for more than 12 hours. With cats and other small animals there is flexibility with the amount of drop-ins. I also typically only do last minute bookings for clients I’ve worked with previously because they know my standards and I know their pet’s needs - this helps ensure that the client is comfortable with my care, the pet is comfortable with my care, and I am comfortable providing my services. I am available everyday for pet care and at various times. All scheduling details can be discussed further at a meet and greet to ensure you feel comfortable with the care your pet will be receiving :) I have special experience with diabetic animals, deaf animals, and animals with health/behavior needs. So that I am able to best take care of your pet, please let me know if there is anything I should know about your pet so that I can be prepared to give them the proper care. I would also ask that a meet and greet is set up prior to future visits so that we can ensure your pets comfortability with me while you are away! I will ensure during visits to send pictures of your pet to you and provide a summary of the visit to put your mind at ease, and of course text me on Rover at any point with any concerns or needs. As a fellow animal parent, I understand we experience some separation anxiety from our pets!
About: I have cared for cats and dogs since I was young! I also can care for mice, bunnies, rats, and other animals, just message me! I know each personality is different, and I can proudly say I have made friends with animals that love humans as well as those who definitely don’t. Animals with special needs are also not a problem for me! I’ve cared for multiple cats and dogs with special needs including diabetes, manual bladder expressions, and mobility/paralysis issues. I’m currently home from college for the summer (Vet Tech Student) and am looking for jobs that allow me to keep working around animals during this time! I follow instructions given by the owner and often send pictures as updates of how the babies are doing! I can crate, walk, feed, water, play with, and bathe animals (if needed). I also can trim nails if asked! I can send pictures after as proof I didn’t quick them to ensure safety and trust between both you and I, as well as your pet and I!

About: I've had a love of animals ever since i can remember. Growing up we always had a dog as part of the family along with a multitude of other pets and I can't imagine it any other way. I've raised dogs from puppies and loved them until their last breath. If i could have kept them all I would have but I had to make room for the next fur baby in need. I currently work full-time as a RN but have the opportunity to work from home on a regular basis. My animals are never left home alone for an extended period of time. I also have a large cages with lots of clean blankets for boarders to be put in for a short amount of time if need be.

I am currently working part time and have plenty of spare time to take care of some fur friends. I am a college student but go to college locally and would love to take care of animals while in school too. While caring for my pets and others I always treat them with a happy bubbly attitude and take great care of them.

“Ashley was great with our dog, Oreo! She was super flexible when we weren't able to come back to town as early as we wanted and sent us updates with pictures. She was also very active with our pup -taking him for walks and to the park. I will definitely go to Ashley the next time we need a sitter!”

“We are so thankful Stephanie could watch Marcy for us especially on last minute notice! It’s always good when Marcy comes home tired from playing, and I can tell she had a great time playing with Stephanie’s dogs. Thank you!!”

About: I have owned many dogs over the years plus have over 7 years in the dog rescue business. Having volunteered with Legacy Humane Society based in McKinney, Texas as a foster, mentor, board member, event planner, social media lead and more, I've gained knowledge and learned so much! I am familiar with medications, oral and injectable and comfortable administering if needed. I have fostered pregnant dogs, birthed litters and raised them, fostered 150 lb great danes and a 15 lb chihuahua. Our most recent two pets were a black lab that passed away of old age and currently own a 40 lb mutt. I love dogs and miss fostering since we travel on the road. I have also helped care for my Mom's 90 lb Cane Corso who had to have insulin injections twice per day.
About: I have cared for my own dog for the past 13 years and sadly he died in February 2025. I walked him around my neighborhood consistently for all those years and now having that routine gone is difficult. Before having him as my own, I also helped take care of my families dog for several years. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and demeanors and all sizes too :) I am attending SUNY Cortland right now and that is the only large barrier in my weekly schedule. I can care and/or walk dogs after 7pm on Monday and Wednesdays. I am available after 4pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday I can provide care all day with a days notice. Without notice I will most likely be working on Friday and therefore not available until after 4pm that day. I can house-sit on Fridays and Saturdays and into Sunday afternoon as well! I will maintain a safe and calm environment for your pet while caring for them and allow them to initiate any desired games or actions. I am willing to accommodate however you prefer for your dog when caring for them, just let me know of anything necessary :) Any questions or concerns for your dog's care are welcomed and appreciated as I prefer a heads up in advance of anything unusual or to keep an eye out/for. Thanks :)
“Molly and Nik took excellent care of my dog! They sent daily photos of their adventures together and it brought me so much joy to see Dodger having a great time with Molly’s two dogs. I will absolutely book them again when we are out of town. Dodger had such a great time! Thank you again!”

“Wonderful dog sitter. I had absolutely no concern when I dropped off my Labrador, except that she might like him more than me 😊. He was very flexible taking in my dog over Easter weekend with less than a day of notice because I had to be in the hospital for surgery on very short notice. I appreciate what he did and I know my dog enjoyed her stay!”
“Watched our boy for about 4 days and did a great job of taking care of him while giving us frequent updates. She even helped train him off leash while we were gone. Highly recommend!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Ashley & Matt. They took great care of our puppy. Daily communication and photos helped to put our minds at ease and know she was being well taken care of and happy. We would absolutely recommend them and we will be using them again ourselves!”

“Lisa was amazing from the moment I met her until the day I picked up my dog. She kept me informed about my dog throughout the day and sent me photos. She is very nice and I know my dog was in good hands the entire time we were gone. I highly recommend her!”

About: I have had dogs since I was a child and love them all. I treat them like they are my children. They are loved to the moon and back. I am almost retired so I have all kinds of time to take care of your baby. I love to let them run in the fenced in yard. I have a fenced in back yard. We also have a gate on our front porch for them to just longe around and people watch.
“Andrew and his wife took excellent care of our dog over the weekend. It was his first time staying with them, so they sent me several updates and photos to let me know how he was doing. When we picked him up, they sent me home with a handwritten note, dog treats, and a new chew toy. A very thoughtful finishing touch!”

“Tana and Michael took great care of Phoebe for her weekend stay. Phoebe really enjoyed all of her cuddles and attention as well as having a doggie pal while there. We know Phoebe will always be in good hands with them!”
