About: I have worked a lot with both ends of the spectrum in terms of activity: I enjoy sleepy dogs as well as hounds. I have a Hungarian Vizsla back home, who is essentially a hunting dog—and I enjoy seeing her tired at the end of the day. I have recently graduated from Bard College. This summer, I have plenty of time to take care of pets while I prepare for graduate studies. About: My own dogs are always the #1 teacher. They show me how to best care for them - with food, play, training, medications, travel, sleepless days and nights when they've been ill, and giving them all them comfort I can. Astrid is usually quite anxious when she’s first introduced to a new person and a new environment, but she appeared to be more at ease much quicker with Kate at her house than she typically is. Kate sent us regular pictures and updates, was very flexible about our schedule for pickup and drop-off, prompt and easy to communicate with, and we didn’t worry about Astrid at all. We will certainly reach out to Kate again when planning future boarding accommodations for our sweet Astrid.”
