“We had a great experience with John. We did a first meet-and-greet at our home so our cat could get to know him, and that made a big difference. During the weekend he stayed at our place, our cat felt comfortable and well cared for. John was very responsive with messages and adapted perfectly to our cat’s routine: she likes to go outside for a couple of minutes to feel the cold and get some fresh air, then come back in for treats. About: I have been around animals my entire life. From 16 until 25 I worked first hand with animals in an animal hospital and boarding facility. I have experience with all sizes and can spot any abnormal behaviors immediately. I am currently a stay at home parent with lots of free time to care for your pet. I have 2 puppies that are walked 3 times a day and are given regular potty breaks and play time. I do not have a fenced in yard but I would never let a dog off lead. We have a very large yard with multiple leads if they like outside time. My 3 children will keep them busy and my 2 puppies love the company. “We were going to Kenya for two weeks and at the last moment our cat needed to be given medicine once/day. Usually the teen next door would come over to feed the cats but since we were instituting a new feeding regimen requiring wet food with a pill snuck in, we weren’t sure the teen would work. Although David primarily takes care of dogs, he agreed to stay in our house. Riley took his medicine every morning and we had the security of knowing someone was in our house keeping an eye on him. We were very grateful he was willing to do this.”

About: Animals, especially canines, are my entire life. I'm a pack leader at a dog daycare and it's the best! I have a large amount of experience in the animal care field, and also training in dog and cat behavior. Being a pet parent, I understand that you need to have someone trustworthy while you're away, and I am that person. With my own dogs, we enjoy being outside, a lot. Hiking, walking, swimming...we do it all. Exercise is very important to have a happy and healthy pet. I am a very happy-go-lucky person and dedicate my life to the happiness and wellness of animals. I have 13 different critters in my home, and more often that not: more dogs! I would be more than happy to get together and talk! My daily schedule is flexible. I have 12 dogs of my own that require constant care that include potty breaks and play time. Our pack is only alone for about 4-5 hours a day. All of our dogs (personal, boarding or foster) are generally integrated with the pack. We try to accommodate all dog personalities. If they don't do well in the big pack, we tend to crate and rotate smaller play groups. Wake up is anywhere from 5:30-8:30 am and last potty is around 9-9:30 pm. Feedings are 2-3 times a day that happen in either a crate, pen, or separate area to prevent any issues. Water is always available inside and outside the house. We also have so many toys, like drowning in toys. Our home is structured, but in a chaotic way.

About: I have owned many dogs over the years plus have over 7 years in the dog rescue business. Having volunteered with Legacy Humane Society based in McKinney, Texas as a foster, mentor, board member, event planner, social media lead and more, I've gained knowledge and learned so much! I am familiar with medications, oral and injectable and comfortable administering if needed. I have fostered pregnant dogs, birthed litters and raised them, fostered 150 lb great danes and a 15 lb chihuahua. Our most recent two pets were a black lab that passed away of old age and currently own a 40 lb mutt. I love dogs and miss fostering since we travel on the road. I have also helped care for my Mom's 90 lb Cane Corso who had to have insulin injections twice per day.

She would notify me when she was on the way to my house and took a picture when she dropped my dog off. I work from home on occasion. About: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

About: I grew up with a childhood best friend. For kids my age, it would be there neighbor next door. However for me, my best friend was a dog. When he passed in 2020, I was devastated. I lost my best friend. He showed me so much loving, patience, and truth. So thats what I want to do for future clients. 1. Show both both human and dog client some love 2. Show both patience I am currently taking a break from college to find my true path. I wanted to make use in my day. I found out about Rover and I was instantly thrilled! A big backyard My dogs have shock collars -!-IMPORTANT-!- However... Your pet would be kept downstairs for safety reasons (my dogs) Would mainly be down there with your pet for most of the day Would ensure that your pet gets as many potty breaks as possible. Especially on very nice days!
