About: Like many others, I am a dog lover and was raised taking care of family dogs. Unlike others, that passion led to training and classes, competing in dog sports, and now, competing in dog shows. I have experience with many breeds of all sizes, senior pet care, reactive dog care and training. I would love to help you with your pet care needs! I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate most dogs’ needs. I currently have open availability for boarding, daycare, walks, and drop in visits. Dogs are treated like one of my own! I take your dog out for leashed potty breaks several times a day, according to their needs. While I am working, your dog can settle on the couch or one of the many dog beds, or relax and play with my dogs (a Golden Retriever and a Foxhound). If your dog likes the crate, I have an extra for them. When I run errands, your dog will be crated or gated in a separate room from my dogs for safety. I live on 4 acres next and next to a cemetery, so I can take your dog for relaxing walks in a peaceful environment.

“Remi is an anxious dog, but after this boarding experience, I noticed a big difference. He was much calmer when I picked him up, and it did not take him days to de stress like usual. When we arrived, Kimberly greeted us outside with her dog, who is extremely friendly and calm. Even though Remi was on a leash, he handled the interaction well, which honestly surprised me. Throughout Remi’s stay, Kimberly sent pictures and regular updates. She played fetch with him, which is one of his favorite activities (other than eating). By the time he came home, he was happily exhausted. We are so glad we found Kimberly and highly recommend her. She is someone we will definitely continue to return to.”

She even had me fill out additional info regarding Munchkin just so she knew more about him and the best way to care for him while I was away. About: I've had cats my whole life, and have always been very fond of them. I got 2 of my own over the past couple years (shoutout to the cat distribution system!) Having the first come to me as a sick kitten gave me hands on experience with administering oral medications (antibiotics and some pain pills) and eye ointment. The second gave me hands on experience with having an orange cat (if you know, you know.) If I'm not going on a trip with my immediate family, I'm usually the one they'll call to do check ins.
About: I grew up with dogs and cats from a young age and am currently have a dog which I adopted from Syracuse! He gets multiple daily walks and weekend adventures. Growing up, I had a dog with diabetes and I had to administer his insulin. I am well versed in animal care for dogs, cats, and some farm animals like sheep and horses. Housesitting is an evening service to for me: My evening rate starts with the evening meal sometime after 6 pm and ends with the serving of breakfast dependent upon my schedule. If you want need more services or hours let me know and the cost will increase*. Housitting means that I am coming to your home to petsit vs you boarding your pet at my home. It means that I go in and out of your home based upon my schedule. If you want a midday walk or specify times of service, there is an extra visit fee which will be added. Likewise, an early arrival before dinner/service after I serve breakfast should be booked as a stop in or midday visit or additional day. Ask, if this is not clear. Your home should be clean including bed sheets and a towel for me. Please make sure your stove and oven are free of anything that can cause a fire or melt with heat. My fee does not include cleaning or snowplowing/shoveling of snow. Please make appropriate arrangements before and during my stay for snow removal. I am available for morning and night meals along with sleeping over. I would go in and out of the house like a normal pet parent. But, if you want service outside the serving of the evening/morning meal/overnight stay, then please add a walk/visit request to the pricing agreed to on Rover. About: I have raised and cared for my families dogs as well as my own personal pets since I was a child. From puppy days to senior life, I have experienced it all and have enjoyed every moment of it. For me, having dogs around is a must! I currently work 4 days a week at a brewery in Rochester. I am available for walks and check-ins Tuesday/Wed all day, Thursday-Friday 8am-11am. Sunday's are open and negotiable as well! I enjoy spending time outside (park, trails, yard) with the active dogs, and talked to/petting the lazy/sleepy ones while they lounge inside. About: I have taken care of small and large breeds of dogs since the young age of seven. As soon as I was able to as an adult I rescued a dog and a cat because no home is complete without the pitter-patter of furry feet. My pets are more than pets, they're family, and yours will be treated just the same when they're in my care. I have a beagle/poodle mix that is two years old that loves to have friends to play with. He sleeps in the bed, but if you prefer your doggie to be crated I can do that too. About: I grew up with dogs and cats from a young age and am currently have a dog which I adopted from Syracuse! He gets multiple daily walks and weekend adventures. Growing up, I had a dog with diabetes and I had to administer his insulin. I am well versed in animal care for dogs, cats, and some farm animals like sheep and horses. I am a high school social studies teacher currently home for summer break. Although I am teaching summer school, I am available for my services in the early morning before 6:30 and in the afternoons and evenings. My dog is treated to multiple walks per day in addition to weekend hikes and adventures! My fiancé and I are mindful of what treats and foods are healthy for dogs and take great care in making sure our dog has a good diet and overall health.
About: As a fur Momma myself to two dogs, I know how important it is to find a trustworthy sitter/dog walker. I have had dogs all my life. I went to Alfred State College and gained experience in veterinary technology and agriculture. I have worked as an animal care assistant in a veterinary hospital for six years. I then became the Animal Care Assistant Supervisor. I helped take care of all kinds of animals that came into the office. Big, little, young, old...dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, etc. I am very comfortable giving oral or injectable medications. I am a level 3 fear free certified professional. I know the signs of fear and anxiety in both cats and dogs. I am skilled and have techniques to help your pet during times of stress and anxiety. I can even give you some tips and tricks to try at home! I'm currently a stay at home mom of two young kids so I have plenty of time to care for your fur baby or fur babies. I will follow your very instructions. I can feed them whenever, give medications, and exercise them. I can crate them if need be as well.
About: I have been taking care of pets since I was a child. I grew up on a farm and had to care for the family pets. I have watched a plethora of dog breeds for a night, weekend, week, or just to check in. I have experience clipping nails, bathing, and administering medications. I love pet snuggles and giving treats as well as being very active with my pet friends!! We can be flexible with pet sitting needs and am able to provide services during the day, evenings and weekends. We provide boarding, sitting, drop in visits, and walking. We do not provide housesitting overnight at this time. We have a loving energetic 4 year old black lab mix who loves friends to play with and a 12 year old daughter who loves caring for pets. We have a cozy ranch-style home with a small fenced in yard for free play. We can easily crate if needed/preferred. We prefer you provide your own dog food, but we have pedigree high protein kibble if needed. We like to give training treats for a job well done. We always use positive reinforcement with our own pets and others!

About: Like many others, I am a dog lover and was raised taking care of family dogs. Unlike others, that passion led to training and classes, competing in dog sports, and now, competing in dog shows. I have experience with many breeds of all sizes, senior pet care, reactive dog care and training. I would love to help you with your pet care needs! I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate most dogs’ needs. I currently have open availability for boarding, daycare, walks, and drop in visits. Dogs are treated like one of my own! I take your dog out for leashed potty breaks several times a day, according to their needs. While I am working, your dog can settle on the couch or one of the many dog beds, or relax and play with my dogs (a Golden Retriever and a Foxhound). If your dog likes the crate, I have an extra for them. When I run errands, your dog will be crated or gated in a separate room from my dogs for safety. I live on 4 acres next and next to a cemetery, so I can take your dog for relaxing walks in a peaceful environment.

“Remi is an anxious dog, but after this boarding experience, I noticed a big difference. He was much calmer when I picked him up, and it did not take him days to de stress like usual. When we arrived, Kimberly greeted us outside with her dog, who is extremely friendly and calm. Even though Remi was on a leash, he handled the interaction well, which honestly surprised me. Throughout Remi’s stay, Kimberly sent pictures and regular updates. She played fetch with him, which is one of his favorite activities (other than eating). By the time he came home, he was happily exhausted. We are so glad we found Kimberly and highly recommend her. She is someone we will definitely continue to return to.”

“We booked Jeffery last minute to watch our dogs for 17 days. He was so accommodating and flexible with my schedule. First, communication was amazing. He sent me texts to update me. Second, he walks the dogs several times a day. Third, the dogs gets more cuddles than they can handle. I was never worried at all while I was away. To give you an example how thorough and thoughtful he is, I will share this story. The first few days at his house, the dogs weren't not eating much. He found a creative way to feed them and they ate. I highly recommend him.”

About: I have had a dog my entire life. Many in different shapes and sizes. My last fur baby was my baby before babies and I have experience with obedience training and good citizen training. I am missing the pitter patter of paws in my home and would love to spoil your sweetie! I am currently home full time. I have three children that are 5 and under. I would love to spoil your baby in my caring home. I have a large yard and two story house with a fenced in gated deck for fresh air. I am very active and love walks and hikes!

“I recently adopted a bunny and we were going away on vacation for a few days… we needed someone who was able to watch my her while we were gone. We had a very nice meet and greet with Julia and she was very flexible with where my rabbit would stay, as well as how much space she could roam around in. She offered a whole room, that would be gated at the door, for my bunny. Since the meet and greet went so well, we booked her for the days we would be traveling. She made sure there was a carpet for my bun’s feet so she wouldn’t be on the hardwood floor. She put baby plugs in the outlets so my bunny couldn’t get to them. I felt very comfortable leaving my bunny with Julia and her family, they were all very kind. They even put a camera in the room so when they weren’t with my bunny, they could always keep an eye on her. My bunny seemed very comfortable and happy with the situation and adjusted very well because of Julia’s hospitality. Julia offered everything she could to make sure my bunny had an amazing stay. We will definitely be booking Julia again!!”
