Throughout Remi’s stay, Kimberly sent pictures and regular updates. She played fetch with him, which is one of his favorite activities (other than eating). About: I've had pets in my life since the day I was born, and as a teen I spent several years working in an animal shelter, caring for animals and working with the health team. I'm experienced with puppies, elderly dogs, dogs with behavioral challenges, and visually impaired and deaf animals. I've also cared for dogs with serious health needs like cancer and diabetes. I'm not a vet or vet tech, but I'm comfortable with basic care like changing a bandage, and I know how to respond in an emergency and reach the nearest emergency care. I've boarded dogs over 100 pounds, and they do great with my dog Leo, a 16 pound Jack Russell dachshund mix who has graduated from obedience and agility courses about five times. I also sit cats, birds, small critters, and reptiles. For dogs, I like to start with a neutral meet and greet, so I ask for two weeks notice, though I'm flexible in emergencies. If you'd like, I can also arrange grooming and specialized training as an additional service while your pet is in my care, provided through a licensed groomer and trainer. Your pet will be treated like family. I work from home, so I offer daytime care during work hours as well as overnight boarding while you travel. Your pet gets plenty of one-on-one time and extra TLC when needed. All pet care happens in my home on a quiet street in the Village of Manchester. I work remotely, so your pet is never left alone for long. Dogs get lots of one-on-one time, and I'm happy to send updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I start with a neutral meet and greet to make sure everyone gets along with my dog Leo. I have a large backyard with natural tree lines and barriers, but safety comes first. Any dog in my care stays on a leash or tie out whenever they're outside, with no exceptions, even if a yard is fenced. I'm happy to take short walks into the yard, and if your pet prefers pet pads, I can provide those. Cats get a quiet room behind closed doors, separate from my own cats, and can stay in their crate, come out, or sit with me in my office. I know how to respond in an emergency and how to reach the nearest emergency care.

“Lourdes is AWESOME!!! Teddy stayed with her for 3 nights and I think he wants to go back. lol. When I went to drop Teddy off, she gave me a tour of her house to let me know what kind of environment/setup she has. She also let me meet some of her family members who are also very sweet. While Teddy was staying with her, I got 22 pictures and multiple videos through out the stay to let me know Teddy is doing just fine. She also sent me texts throughout the stay just to let me know how Teddy is doing. During the night, she even put a little sweater on Teddy to make sure he doesn’t get cold. My family and I were going to Canada and I was super nervous because I was going so far away, but Lourdes definitely made me at ease and my family enjoyed every single pictures and vidoes she sent us. She is going to be on the top of my very short list of people and places that I can trust Teddy with.”
“Sara was amazing! This was the first time I boarded my rescue and I was nervous to leave her. Sara put my mind at ease! We had a meet and greet, which went great! She has two other dogs and my tons of energy furbaby had a ball with her 11 month old. She has a huge "high" fenced in yard and chicken wire 3 feet below the fence, so dogs cannot dig their way out! She has a great set up! When I dropped Rosie off for vacation, Sara knew I was sad and nervous. She kept telling me it would be alright and promised she would keep an eye on my dog. Within in minutes of leaving, she sent me pictures and updates! I got daily pictures, videos and updates, which I looked forward to seeing! She put my mind at ease and both my pup and I enjoyed our vacations! Sara is a kind hearted and wonderful person. I would use her again in a heartbeat. About: I have taken care of small and large breeds of dogs since the young age of seven. As soon as I was able to as an adult I rescued a dog and a cat because no home is complete without the pitter-patter of furry feet. My pets are more than pets, they're family, and yours will be treated just the same when they're in my care. I am currently working part time at the library two doors down from my home so have plenty of time to care for your furry friend. I have a beagle/poodle mix that is two years old that loves to have friends to play with. He sleeps in the bed, but if you prefer your doggie to be crated I can do that too. I also have a 9 year old cat that thinks she's the mommy of the house. She is always cuddling the dog and bathing him.

About: I have had dogs of my own. I had a lab and a yorkie silk terrier. I treat dogs like they are my children. I will take them on fun walks, make sure their well fed and play with them. About: My grandparents and mom were professional boarders, breeders, and handlers. I literally grew up on an ex-pen. Once my grandparents retired my mom opened a shop in 2006 and I joined as her certified bather and brusher in 2012. We have had our business ever since.. About: I’ve always had a dog since I was born until I moved to Buffalo for school. I currently work a full time hybrid job where I am home most days with a pretty flexible schedule. Due to recent life changes, I no longer have my own pet and am really missing having a buddy at home.**Child not always with me, she’s with me Sunday through Wednesdays (away all day during the week for work) but is great with animals and has been around a large variety her whole life :) She’s for sure my mini and loves the fur babies as well!
