I’m also a proud owner of an 80-lb Bernese Mountain Dog, so I’m comfortable caring for larger dogs and understand the patience, attention, and love they need. “It was pretty daunting leaving my dogs with someone I had never met. My Boxer has separation anxiety so bad she got severe colitis last time I had to travel, so I knew a kennel setting would not be good for her. Getting pictures of the dogs completely relaxed and comfortable put my fears at rest almost immediately! Katie took excellent care of the dogs and took care on my worries as well! I would recommend her without hesitation :)”
About: I have been pet sitting for most of my life. People have always trusted me with their animals - dogs, cats, tortuous, rabbits, fish, and hedgehogs to name a few. I understand that a pet is another family member and deserved to be treated as such. Hire me and have some peace of mind knowing that your pets are being loved on and cared for while you are away. My job is remote and more so dependent on my overall job being done rather than being in front of a computer for set hours. You tell me when you want me to visit and we can make it work. I live in a secure apartment with plenty of space for activities. My cats love to watch out the windows at life happening below. We have places to climb, play and nap. Great walk-able area in the heart of Downtown Bradford.

About: I love dogs, I've had two growing up. Unfortunately they are no longer with my family and I but my love for animals of course continuously grows🤎.I'm capable of taking them out (whether it be to play, enjoy the weather or have a potty break), feeding them and just enjoying their company :)! I’m frequently available!—at my house from 8 a.m- whatever time you need me on weekdays and on weekends I can take them in from 8 a.m- whatever time you need me to watch them for ! Any dogs are welcome at my house but I only will take them from one family at a time :)🤎! I’m currently unemployed, with my 2 siblings going back to school it makes it a lot easier for me to take on a “side job” such like this :)! A little about myself… I’ve grown up taking care of my family dogs, I enjoy going outside very often, I love caring for the others around me, and I have a lot of free time :)! My yard may not be fenced in but we do have a huge backyard and a lot of floor space in our downstairs of our house. We are a pet friendly household. Growing up, my family has had 2 dogs. Both small but the company they had given us was unmatchable 🥲.

“We just moved to the area and had a prearranged trip out of state at the same time our contractors would be working on the exterior of our house; leaving our senior cat (who is not known for her ability to roll with the punches) had us very on edge. Cara set our minds completely at ease right from the first moments of the meet-and-greet. The first day of our vacation our shy little princess refused to make an appearance; Cara not only checked with the contractors to make sure they hadn't seen her, but also offered to come by later in the day after everything quieted down to see if that would help. Luckily we caught our girl on camera shortly afterward, but just knowing that Cara was willing to go that extra mile was such a relief. Miss "I Like It When People Worry About Me" came right out for every visit after that, and we got adorable photos of her getting proper skritches. All instructions were followed to a T, and medication was provided without a problem. Cara even dealt with our electronic lock and security system like a champ! Would absolutely not hesitate to book again.”

About: Albeit having no years of 'professional' caring, I have been a dog and cat mom all of my life. Since I was born my family has had 2-3 dogs and 5-6 cats at a time on our farm, and I raised, trained and took care of all of them myself since my parents were not too big on animals. The sole reason we had so many is because we lived on a farm and I adored them. Every year of my life I have cared for at least one animal or another, ever since I was in grade school. For cats and dogs alike, I myself used to bathe them, feed them, groom them and take them to the vet if they were sick. As of right now, I have no animals to look after, so I would love to put those skills to good use. This being said, I have ample experience with animals, and I adore them. I have babysat animals for my friends several times, always without incident. I understand their signs and needs, have plenty of patience and can be gentle but firm when needed. I treat them as if they were my own children. I am also a trained emergency service medical provider, so I know how to perform first aid and lifesaving measures if need be (not that it will ever be needed, don't worry!). I am flexible with the services I provide: if your pet has any special needs/medications that they need to take/any sicknesses, or anything else, inform me and I will be happy to babysit for them and care for them for as long as you need! Some of the services I can provide include but are not limited to: bathing, walking, training, and cuddling! I will treat your babies with love and kindness while you're away! Rest assured, they will be in good, trained hands. I currently work from home, and would have no problem going on walks or playing games such as fetch to tire out high energy dogs! I already have a daily routine with my own dog, which consists of taking him on regular potty breaks, brushing his teeth, and playing games to tire him out if its too cold to go on walks outside! We have a yard thats not fenced in, but have lines and long leashes to take your fur baby outside! There is one senior dog, one younger dog, and to cats all to give company to your pet! Both dogs are very friendly, and the cats mostly keep to themselves in the room. The dogs will always be in my sight, so that we can hang out, play, and I can tend to their needs! There are plenty of toys to share, plenty of treats to go around (unless stated otherwise) and plenty of friends to play with.

About: At home I have a total of 4 pets which include a dog, cat, snake, and a little lizard! I also grew up with a beautiful chow-chow before she passed at the age of 15. I love going on walks and hikes with my dog and would love to be out and active with yours! I am very comfortable with reptile care such as feeding crickets or mice, and keeping up humidity levels if needed. I worked as a pet care specialist for a local pet store so I am also comfortable taking care of other small animals like hamsters, guinea pigs, birds, ETC. We recently moved to the area. I work out of Bradford Monday through Friday but live in Allegany. I am only available in the evenings during the week unfortunately but my weekends are wide open :) I love going on hikes and to the dog park with my dog! I provide my own dog with a lot of mentally stimulating toys like puzzles where she has to work for her treats and snuffle mats at meal time! I know cats can be very to themselves so being slow with them and respecting their space is my top priority. I love snuggling with animals so I will make sure they get all the love!
