About: I'm an enthusiastic dog walker and sitter that has a passion for dogs and rescuing them. I have been involved in dog rescue and fostering in the Syracuse area for a number of years. I've cared for a number of my own dogs and cats from young to seniors. I've also been a foster parent to a number of dogs when rescues needed someone. I can handle the most challenging of dogs down to little babies and everything in between. Your dog will get plenty of love and attention when I'm around! I give all dogs the same love and affection I would give my own dog and see the importance of cuddle and buddy time along with good exercise. “We boarded our new addition Chubbs with Dan and Teresa for 5 nights while we were out of state on vacation. I received at least one daily update with photos every day Chubbs was there. It was definitely some peace of mind knowing he was taken care of so well. I had brought Chubbs to meet Dan and Teresa the week before for introductions as and a quick tour of the boarding house. Right away Chubbs seemed at home and didn’t look like he would have any problem returning. I would recommend this kennel 100% and will definitely be sending Chubbs back to board again when needed.”

“We had a great experience with John. We did a first meet-and-greet at our home so our cat could get to know him, and that made a big difference. During the weekend he stayed at our place, our cat felt comfortable and well cared for. John was very responsive with messages and adapted perfectly to our cat’s routine: she likes to go outside for a couple of minutes to feel the cold and get some fresh air, then come back in for treats. Overall, it was a great decision and we would definitely book with him again.”

I am used to medication, difficult walks, reactiveness, and stubbornness. I am also used grooming activities. I would love to meet you and your furry friends! About: I have taken care of a wide variety of dogs in all sizes. I have cared short term as well as long term for dogs while my peers were on military deployments. I love to groom dogs as well as be very active with them. I will go on long walks, run, and hikes with your dogs! I do work a full time four day schedule at my current job. I am willing to do walks after work as well as any kind of walk, day care, or boarding from Friday through Monday on my days off. I have a log cabin on 15 acres of land. I have a fenced in portion connected to my house with a dog door. I have two 85 ft tie outs for your dog to run on as well. I have three dogs and children at my home; however, if your dog doesn’t like that, I am set up well to separate everyone. I also have three various size crates in my home.

I have worked in the past and consistently cared for a deaf and diabetic dog to include administering insulin. “We were going to Kenya for two weeks and at the last moment our cat needed to be given medicine once/day. Usually the teen next door would come over to feed the cats but since we were instituting a new feeding regimen requiring wet food with a pill snuck in, we weren’t sure the teen would work. Although David primarily takes care of dogs, he agreed to stay in our house. Riley took his medicine every morning and we had the security of knowing someone was in our house keeping an eye on him. We were very grateful he was willing to do this.”

About: I have owned many dogs over the years plus have over 7 years in the dog rescue business. Having volunteered with Legacy Humane Society based in McKinney, Texas as a foster, mentor, board member, event planner, social media lead and more, I've gained knowledge and learned so much! I am familiar with medications, oral and injectable and comfortable administering if needed. I have fostered pregnant dogs, birthed litters and raised them, fostered 150 lb great danes and a 15 lb chihuahua. Our most recent two pets were a black lab that passed away of old age and currently own a 40 lb mutt. I love dogs and miss fostering since we travel on the road. I have also helped care for my Mom's 90 lb Cane Corso who had to have insulin injections twice per day.

About: Having been through a fairly traumatic dog attack myself, I made it my mission to learn all about dog's behavior and why they do what they do. I have studied different ways of training and learning how to react to certain situations with them. About: *Please read through and understand my policies before booking - your pets well-being is what is most important to me! I have taken care of various pets since I was a kid. I have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, fish, and bearded dragons! I have always been the family/friend go-to for help with animals whether it is walking dogs, house-sitting, ect. I am a huge animal advocate and a Humane Policy Leader Volunteer with the ASPCA. Throughout high school and college, I looked for opportunities to help animals at an individual level (doing some rescue work, rehab work, fundraising, ect.), and it has greatly improved my knowledge about providing care for animals of various needs. I take the health and safety of animals very seriously, and will treat yours as my own. If you book a 24 hour+ period with me as your pet’s only caregiver, I require a minimum of 3 visits daily and will not allow your dog to be alone for more than 12 hours. With cats and other small animals there is flexibility with the amount of drop-ins. I also typically only do last minute bookings for clients I’ve worked with previously because they know my standards and I know their pet’s needs - this helps ensure that the client is comfortable with my care, the pet is comfortable with my care, and I am comfortable providing my services. I am available everyday for pet care and at various times. All scheduling details can be discussed further at a meet and greet to ensure you feel comfortable with the care your pet will be receiving :) I have special experience with diabetic animals, deaf animals, and animals with health/behavior needs. So that I am able to best take care of your pet, please let me know if there is anything I should know about your pet so that I can be prepared to give them the proper care. I would also ask that a meet and greet is set up prior to future visits so that we can ensure your pets comfortability with me while you are away! I will ensure during visits to send pictures of your pet to you and provide a summary of the visit to put your mind at ease, and of course text me on Rover at any point with any concerns or needs. About: I’ve had various pets through the years from horses to hamsters. I have no issues with cleaning up feces, urine, throw up or cleaning wounds. I have spent a significant amount of time educating myself in dog training. I like to describe myself as a very well rounded person. I’m a housewife with a huge passion for animals that I want to share with the world. Currently I spend my mornings taking care of a 15 horse barn but that will be coming to an end in October so I’m looking to spread my love to the smaller animals of the world. I have a deck with a fenced in portion for potty time. I have 3 acres of open land and multiple run lines for pups that can’t be trusted off leash. I have my own pup an almost 2 year old female spayed Basset mix that is beyond friendly with everything to keep your pup or kitty company during their stay.

I am so lucky to be surrounded by animals everyday and always learning new things about each and every animal. I would love to pet sit your furry friend and hopefully become a new best friend for them too! If you are military, I have base access as well! I am available weekdays and weekends.I would also be available to watch your pet at your home if needed ! I would love to chat about any days you may need and we can work out something :) I am available to help out with feeding, walking, giving medications and or just hanging out with your fur baby. I am open to talking about any other things you may need !
About: I have grown up around dogs all my life and each of those dogs has helped me learn as much from them as they did me. I love dogs and it always makes me so happy to be around them! I have helped train my dog as well as my in-laws puppy. I love running, hiking and just love being outdoors; I would be happy to take your dog with me. I will love your dog as if he/she is my own! I will be available from 4-8 during weekdays and any time during the weekend. I work in a school, so once it is summer vacation I will have open availability. I have to dogs of my own. One Riley we adopted during covid. He was born blind. You would never know it though, as he gets around amazing! Another dog named Gus is a rescue! He is such a lover! I look forward to meeting your 4-legged family member(s)! I am a Kindergarten teacher, so in the summers I have more availability. During the school year os harder but I can do my best to accommodate. I have a fenced in yard, however we have an inground pool. No pet will ever be left outside alone. I can also work with your dog to be sure they sre comfortable and safe.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 16. It started with watching my neighbors dogs! I have lots of experience with older dogs and puppies! I’m currently finishing out my Masters Therapy Program so have online classes, allowing me to be flexible and giving dogs attention whenever needed. Being home for the summer gives me the opportunity to give dogs the full attention and 1:1 time they need. I have such a passion for taking care of dogs that I will always put them first. I take care of dogs by giving them a nice long walk, playing with their dog toys with them, fetch, etc. I think physical activity is so important for dogs.
About: I've grown up in a house with 6 dogs. I went through a training program for dog grooming and agility. I've raised dogs since puppies. I can potty train and obedience train young puppies. Crate training is easy for me. I enjoy every minute playing with any furbaby that loves me. Every dog is special in my eyes. I love walking just as much as your baby will. Your best friend is my priority! No dog is too much for me. I have experience with both large and small breeds. I enjoy high energy dogs that love running. Walks are always welcome from me! I have no problem cleaning up after dogs as well. They poop I scoop. Can't wait to meet and play with your furbaby!

“We boarded our new addition Chubbs with Dan and Teresa for 5 nights while we were out of state on vacation. I received at least one daily update with photos every day Chubbs was there. It was definitely some peace of mind knowing he was taken care of so well. I had brought Chubbs to meet Dan and Teresa the week before for introductions as and a quick tour of the boarding house. Right away Chubbs seemed at home and didn’t look like he would have any problem returning. I would recommend this kennel 100% and will definitely be sending Chubbs back to board again when needed.”

About: I have owned many dogs over the years plus have over 7 years in the dog rescue business. Having volunteered with Legacy Humane Society based in McKinney, Texas as a foster, mentor, board member, event planner, social media lead and more, I've gained knowledge and learned so much! I am familiar with medications, oral and injectable and comfortable administering if needed. I have fostered pregnant dogs, birthed litters and raised them, fostered 150 lb great danes and a 15 lb chihuahua. Our most recent two pets were a black lab that passed away of old age and currently own a 40 lb mutt. I love dogs and miss fostering since we travel on the road. I have also helped care for my Mom's 90 lb Cane Corso who had to have insulin injections twice per day.
About: I have cared for my own dog for the past 13 years and sadly he died in February 2025. I walked him around my neighborhood consistently for all those years and now having that routine gone is difficult. Before having him as my own, I also helped take care of my families dog for several years. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and demeanors and all sizes too :) I am attending SUNY Cortland right now and that is the only large barrier in my weekly schedule. I can care and/or walk dogs after 7pm on Monday and Wednesdays. I am available after 4pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday I can provide care all day with a days notice. Without notice I will most likely be working on Friday and therefore not available until after 4pm that day. I can house-sit on Fridays and Saturdays and into Sunday afternoon as well! I will maintain a safe and calm environment for your pet while caring for them and allow them to initiate any desired games or actions. I am willing to accommodate however you prefer for your dog when caring for them, just let me know of anything necessary :) Any questions or concerns for your dog's care are welcomed and appreciated as I prefer a heads up in advance of anything unusual or to keep an eye out/for.
