“It is always so comforting to know that Bailey is in good hands when we go visit our family. She keeps us informed and sends pictures. This is the fourth time we have used Brigid and Bailey seems to feel just as comfortable there as he does at home. Thank you Bridgit!”

“Lori was flexible and accommodating, was quick to reply every time we reached out to check in on Neela. She was well cared for during her stay! We’d love to have Lori sit for her again in the future!”

“Felt comfortable leaving my dog with Marisa. She was great. Plus she has her dog and had a couple other boarding dogs my dog could play with. Will definitely book her again when we go out of town. Happy to have found her for Lela.”

“Absolutely thrilled with Cashe's dog bordering services! Professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive to my pet's needs. Cashe was highly responsive to my texts, making the whole experience seamless. My Opal seemed happy and I couldn't have been more at ease knowing she was in such caring hands. Highly recommended!”

“Patty was so wonderful with my dog Max! She sent pics daily so I could see what a great time she’s was having with Colonel and the other pups she was watching. I would definitely use her services again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone in need of a reliable, caring dog sitter.”

“(I have a BullyMix) Jayla is great! Warm personality can see she is caring and my pup will be in great hands and he was!! This was my first time and my pups first of staying overnight and overall with someone he doesn't know. She shared pictures and updates and accommodated my delay in schedule. He seemed happy and at ease! Thank you will be booking again.”

“Another successful boarding experience with Maggie last weekend. Our 11m old rescue stayed for 3 nights. Maggie stays in contact and will send update or pictures upon request. Having her dogs plus other boarders at times is an added bonus. We trust her and know that our dog is in good hands when we are out of town. Thanks Maggie! We’ll definitely be back again.”
“Laura is an angel in human form! She has an ABUNDANCE of experience working with dogs, especially senior pups like ours. We have never felt so comfortable leaving our 17 and 16 year old dogs with a sitter. Thanks Laura!”

“Samantha and her family are amazing. Honestly. My first time boarding my 3 month old puppy and they made it so easy. Communication and kindness!! Such genuine people. Thank you for everything!!”

“Margaret took great care of our 2 dogs over the weekend in her home. She sent regular updates, photos and videos. Our dogs were very comfortable in her home and enjoyed plenty of outdoor time. We would definitely book another Rover sit again with Margaret.”

“My 8 year old, Curly Coated Retriever, had never been boarded before. Kyle made me so comfortable at our initial meet & greet that it reduced my trepidation of being away from my girl for the first time & I knew she was in good hands. Kyle’s daily pictures & comments made being away from my girl so much easier. It was very clear seeing how much Kyle loved dogs and she was such a good caregiver to my girl. I would strongly recommend Kyle’s service to anybody who wants to ensure their dog is in the hands of someone who truly cares about her furry friends.”

About: 🐾 I’m absolutely obsessed with cats—and honestly, that’s the biggest reason I’m here. Rover isn’t just a side thing for me… I genuinely love spending time with cats and getting to know all their unique personalities. At home, I care for three cats of my own, so I understand everything from playtime energy to quiet, independent moods. I’m also known locally as a stray cat feeder and caretaker, and I always keep cat food in my car—because you truly never know when a hungry kitty might need help. Caring for animals isn’t something I “turn on”—it’s just part of who I am every day. While cats are my specialty, I’ve recently been spending more time around dogs as well and have become increasingly comfortable and confident with them. I’m patient, attentive, and quick to adapt to different temperaments, whether your pet is energetic, shy, or somewhere in between. When you trust me with your pet, you’re getting someone who is: ✔️ Reliable & responsive ✔️ Gentle, patient, and detail-oriented ✔️ Experienced with multiple-cat households ✔️ Truly passionate about animal care I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own—with love, respect, and close attention to their needs. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, medication, or just keeping them company, I’ve got it covered. I’m also very flexible and able to travel, so feel free to reach out with whatever you need—I’m happy to make it work!! Pet care fits perfectly into my routine. I recently bought a house here in Albany, so it’s just me and my studies now — which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to devote to caring for your cats. As a law student, my classes are only on Mondays and Wednesdays, so the rest of the week I’m fully available to spend quality time making sure your cat (or cats!) get the love, attention, and care they need. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping your cat’s routine consistent and stress-free. That means fresh food and water on schedule, a clean litter box, and plenty of playtime and affection — whether that’s cuddles, brushing, or just quiet company if your cat prefers space. I always make sure to respect your home, follow your instructions closely, and send regular updates so you know your pet is happy and safe. If I’m welcoming a cat into my own home, I create a calm, cozy environment with safe spaces for them to explore or retreat to, depending on their personality. I treat every cat as if they were my own — with patience, attentiveness, and lots of love.
About: I’m a certified dog trainer with 30 years of experience and have helped thousands of dogs—from puppies to seniors. Your dog will never go home with worse manners after staying with me! Every pup gets one-on-one attention, enrichment, and plenty of daily playtime. I’m home the majority of the week, which means your dog gets lots of company, cuddles, and care! I’m happy to board your sweet pup anytime you need me. I’ve got a fully fenced yard and a goofy young playmate who loves making new dog friends! Your pup will enjoy tons of zoomies, sniffing, and social fun. At night, everyone snoozes safely in their crates—but don’t worry, I’m always on “midnight potty duty” for puppies and seniors who need a quick outing!

About: Think cats aren't trainable? I’m here to change that. As a professional animal trainer, I specialize in feline behavior and welfare. My own therapy cat, Athena, has mastered everything from "high-five" to complex medication alerts, proving what cats are truly capable of. I bring this same expertise to your home, offering enrichment-based care that honors your cat’s intelligence. Whether your cat needs social engagement or quiet space, I use force-free, science-based methods to keep them happy, safe, and stimulated while you're away.

“I always book Deb when I need a drop in sitter. She always does a fantastic and thorough job. My cats love her and she sends plenty of pictures during the visit. Highly recommended.”

“Merissa and Nick are the best pet sitters I have ever had, because they care and go above and beyond!! Besides the very helpful daily updates on my cat’s food, drink, litter box usage and general behavior, they sent me some of the greatest photos and videos of Hodge, many showing them playing with my very social fur baby. When I returned home after a 10-day trip, the house was immaculate and my mail and newspapers were neatly piled up on the kitchen counter. I knew that with Merissa and Nick my cat was getting the best care possible and was very happy, which gave me complete peace of mind to enjoy my vacation.”

“Lindsay took such good care of my two cats! I got updates with pictures every visit which is appreciated. My cats can be skittish, but warmed up to her immediately. It was a great peace of mind while away. Will book Lindsay again!”

“Absolutely loved working with Miranda and cannot wait to have her watch Echo again. She really paid attention to Echos personality and was so attentive with her care. Miranda followed every instruction I left and I couldn’t be happier with her service! Miranda was also amazing with communication leading up to and during her visits!”

About: I've been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember, and I have experience with dogs and cats of all kinds. I have a deep respect for all animals, including those that are shy or have special needs, and I'm committed to giving every animal the care they deserve. I'm available on most weekends and holidays. I occasionally have weekdays open as my work schedule allows and I will have Fridays available for part of the summer. When introducing myself I allow the animal to approach me first, I take things slow if they're shy or nervous. I'm familiar with dog and cat body language so I can recognize signs of stress. When walking dogs I'm always aware of my surroundings and will adjust the route if I need to.

“Kim did an amazing job watching my cat!! She asked great questions & followed the instructions perfectly!! My cat can be grumpy with taking her medication, but Kim did such a good job getting her to take her pills! And Kim took and sent so many gorgeous pictures!!”

“I cannot recommend Barbara highly enough! She was absolutely wonderful with my Lil Man Hudson (cat) and treated him with so much care and attention. I received regular updates and adorable photos, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. Barbara truly went above and beyond, not only making sure my cat was happy and comfortable, but also leaving my apartment spotless and perfectly organized. It was such a relief to come home to a happy pet and a clean space. If you’re looking for someone reliable, thoughtful, and genuinely caring, Barbara is the best choice!”

About: 🐾🏡 About Me Hi! I’m a lifelong dog owner, trainer, and former kennel manager with experience caring for all breeds, ages, and personalities. My home is active and structured, with plenty of playtime, exercise, and enrichment. I currently share my home with Border Collies, Labradors, and a few mixed breeds, and we’re active in dog sports like frisbee, obedience, and dock diving. I live and breathe dogs — training, sports, and overall enjoyment are my passion. Your pup will get safe, structured care, plenty of exercise, and personal attention while you get peace of mind and daily updates. We keep a very rigid structured routine. Our day starts between 6-7am, with initial let outs--group play if appropriate to get that morning energy out. Then we settle in for breakfast time, all dogs rest 30 minutes prior to meals, 30 minutes to eat, then followed by another 30-60 minutes to digest. This helps prevent bloat( while any size dog CAN bloat--most often occurs in larger/deep chested breeds, but I take no chances). We then are in and out throughout the rest of the day when dinner time commences between 5-6pm, repeating the same 30-30-30/60 routine. Last let outs and romps wrapping up around 10-11pm. I don't operate a free for all. Fully fenced in yard. Specifically zoned areas for potting and play. Daily house keeping services including vacuuming and daily crate wipe down and disinfection. Dogs are outside as much as we can be, under direct supervision weather permitting.
“Christopher and Chelsea were awesome!! They were very responsive and my pup had great time! My pup can be very timid when meeting new people but came around really quickly! I could tell she was well cared for and would definitely bring my pup back!!”

“This was my first time using Rover and, remarkably, my first time leaving my dog Maddy with someone in their house, and not my own. Lori was wonderful! She answered all my questions before the day, and answered so promptly too. Maddy and Lori's dog Rees were very compatible, even though Rees is much bigger than Maddy. When I came to pick up my dog, Lori said Maddy missed me and was a bit subdued, but that's to be expected for the first time. Maddy was perfectly fine, and happy to see me when I came to pick her up. I will be booking with Lori and Rees again. Practice makes perfect!”

About: Over the course of my childhood my parents have been teaching me the proper way to care for not just people, but of course, our pets as well. After a while, tending to our pets was no longer so much a task for me as it was for my siblings. Taking care of and spending time with animals in general became something I still enjoy doing to this day, and as far as I know, will be one of my favorite things to do forever. With over 10 years of experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes, you can feel confident in my professionalism and knowledge of what would be in your pet’s best interest. I want to go beyond just keeping your animal’s needs met but to make sure they feel happy and comfortable at all times.

“Jessica went above and beyond for Daisy! She was so patient and understanding of our shelter dog's need for slow intros and some extra support learning to walk politely on the leash. “Katharine was extremely easy to work with! She assisted in fulfilling a last minute request, and got along great with my dog! She was able to get my pup to take a walk and eat her food, which are often difficult tasks due to my dogs anxiety. Would 100% recommend Katharine to others!!”

About: I’ve had my own animals, both cats and dogs (mainly cats) since I was 6 years old. I’ve had to administer insulin before to my diabetic cat that has since passed. My experience with dogs are mainly of the bigger size (I had a pitbull/boxer mix and a pure bred chow chow). I’m currently working as a Direct Support Professional overnights 9pm-9am Thursday through Saturday (technically Sunday 9am). So I’m pretty open for picking up last minute gigs if needed. I would love to have a break down of your pets day to day. Typically when they are most ready to play or eat. When potty breaks need to be done around.

Even from my dog’s perspective, I can see through the report card photos that he enjoys being with her. I highly recommend contacting Miranda if you are in need of a dog walker or sitter!”

“Very professional! Christopher did a great job with my dog and sent lots of pictures. I will absolutely be a returning customer and I enthusiastically recommend him.”

“Alyson was wonderful! She was very patient with my dogs, even when they got nervous and peed on her floor. They quickly warmed up to her and her dog, and from the photos she sent, it was obvious they were having a great time. I will definitely rebook with Alyson.”

“Amy was wonderful with our puppy! She took great care of him and kept us updated during the stay. It’s such a comfort knowing he was in good hands. We’ll definitely book with her again.”

“I cannot recommend Cong more highly. My Airedale, Phoebe, is always happy to see her! To know my dog is comfortable and happy makes leaving her a bit easier. When I pick Phoebe up, whether the stay has been multiple days or just one, my dog is relaxed and happy.”
