“I was nervous about boarding Mazie because she's never been away from home. She's older and has minor medical needs. I could not have been happier. Kennadi took such amazing care of my baby and sent lots of pictures. She even introduced her dogs to Mazie so she made friends! I would highly recommend her and I'll never be afraid to leave Mazie with her again. Love, love, love!!!”

“Carrie B. and her family completely and thoroughly took care of and loved our pups! You could tell because when Bruno and Boone, came home, they were so loving and happy. From walks, pats, playtime, feeding, and treat time, Carrie did it all, as seen from the pictures and text messages. We will definitely be contacting her for any future pet sitting needs.”

“Karly did a fantastic job taking care of my dog! She was reliable, caring, and made me feel completely comfortable knowing my pup was in good hands. I would absolutely book with Karly again and highly recommend her! 🐾”

“Our black lab, Lager stayed 3 nights and 1 day and we could not be happier. We had great communication with pictures/videos and they handled him with 2 days of monsoon rain - not easy with a lab! Both Sheri and Connie were great and we highly recommend! Lager's booked for a day next week and we are so happy we found such a great home (away from home) for him! Thank you so much.”

“Erica was wonderfully patient and kind with our elderly Chihuahua, Suzie, while we explored local attractions while traveling through the area. Suzie is typically anxious in new situations but she looked relaxed in the pictures Erica sent to us throughout her stay and was calm and happy when we picked her up. We are extremely thankful for Erica’s focused attention and compassion with our senior girl.”

“Emily was the closest Rover sitter to me in a remote location, put she was still about 20 minutes away. She stopped by AFTER a full days work, which was at least another 20 minutes in the opposite direction from me. Despite these logistics, Emily showed up consistently early evening immediately after her work day. She performed all the duties necessary during each visit, plus she performed some special handling for a package that arrived while I was away. I would not hesitate using her again, and would recommend her.”

“Karen was absolutely wonderful with my two cats. She stayed in my house with them for over a week during Christmas and New Years, was a great communicator, kept me updated with photos, and I felt very reassured leaving my pets with someone so responsible. Upon my return everything was tidy, the cats were well fed with extra food and water laid out, and litter boxes cleaned. It was a great experience and so wonderful having her take care of them while I was away so I could relax and enjoy my vacation worry free.”

About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.

“Colleen was great! She came a few days before to meet my (high maintenance) cat and see the space. She was super warm and nice - I had no qualms about leaving my baby in her care. She updated me a couple times of day, with pictures! My cat was healthy and happy after she left, and the house looked great - she even took out my trash! I would (and will) 100% book Colleen again!!”

I enjoy pet sitting in my free time and look forward to meeting your wonderful furry friend(s)! I have owned and cared for many types animals from chickens to guinea pigs, bunnies, and cats for most of my life. Spending time outdoors and being around animals of all kinds are things that energize me and bring me joy! I take my responsibilities as a caretaker seriously while also having fun. When appropriate, I love to take the dogs I care for along on hikes. Thanks so much for considering me for your pet care needs. I currently have an open schedule 9/12-9/25 so I’m available full-time to care for pets! While I have a dog of my own, I don’t bring him pet setting with me. I live with my husband and our golden retriever who loves other dogs. If you hire me for dogsitting it will be just me, though! I'm very tidy and happy to help with little things such as looking after plants and getting mail while I’m there.

I enjoy being able to spend time with other people’s pets and ensure they are cared for and have the same routines and schedules as when their pet parents are home. I’ve cared for friends and family's animals in the past. I can administer medicine, follow feeding schedules, walk, play and spend quality time with your pets while you are away. My husband and I moved from Indianapolis to New York in October of 2022. We’ve been spending most our time on home renovations and loving how peaceful our new home is.
