“Kelly and her family are the absolute best! Our dog was spoiled with attention and lots of walks and fun while we were away. It’s the best feeling to not have to worry about your fur baby while away. We are so fortunate to have found her! Jackson loved his time away at her dog camp!”

“Spencer was fantastic. He was communicative, professional, and sent regular updates and photos, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. It was clear our dog was comfortable and well cared for. He was attentive and picked up on little personality details, making the experience even better. We came home to a happy, relaxed dog. Highly recommend Spencer and would absolutely book with him again.”

“Caitlin and her family watched our two miniature poodles for 8 days. She consistently sent us pictures of them so we could see how they were doing. When we picked up the dogs, they were not excited to leave. Her children were adorable and really bonded with our dogs. I will definitely be using her again.”

“Lauren was great. Our pups can be a handful and she was wonderful. They came back happy and well cared for. She was a great communicator and everything went smoothly from booking to drop off to pick up.”

“Janet is a wonderful sitter for my little diva Snuggles! She is patient and kind and very understanding. My fur baby is very high maintenance, and I very much appreciate Janet taking the time with her to make sure she's comfortable, and entertained, and treated as well as she would be at home. Thank you Janet!”

“Angi is a very kind and understanding person and has so much love and compassion for animals! she took care of my pup for a whole week and he loved it there! she and her husband are very attentive and happy to take on any kind of need your dog has. even with a few dogs there, our dog Kirby had all the love and attention he needed. she was wonderful with keeping us updated throughout the week of how our boy was doing with lots of pictures. We will definitely be using her in the future and will continue to recommend her to my friends and family! thanks again Angi and Dave :)”
“Karizma took care female husky, she has experience it’s huskies so when Sila seemed to be a bit anxious she communicated with me and we were able to see how Sila can be more comfortable during her stay. I appreciate the communication and care she demonstrated during sila’s stay.”

“Callie and Chloe stayed with Amanda for 3 nights while we visited the beautiful sights in Watkins Glen. I especially liked that she actually has a connection to a local vet. The pups seemed very happy and well cared for. She is very pleasant and was cooperative with some changing times.”

“Kristen was wonderful! It was the first time I’ve had to leave my fur kids with someone other than family, and she put all my worries at ease. I was desperate when my original sitter fell through, so I figured I’d give Rover a chance, and am so glad I did and found Kristen. She sent me pics throughout the length of the stay, and I could see how happy my girls were! She took them to the park daily, and at the end of the day, they were able to sleep in bed, not in a crate, which was very important to me. Drop off and pick up was seamless, Kristen was very accommodating, and had the blanket and bed freshly laundered upon my arrival! I knew my girls were comfortable, and treated well when I picked them up because after they were excited to see me, they both went over to her and shared their excitement with her. I will definitely be using Kristen again!”

“Amanda had the perfect set up for our dog. She had her own playful dogs and two children that played with our pup and a big yard to do it all in. Our boy had a great weekend there. Amanda and her family get a big 👍 from us.”

“Whether it is your first time using rover or 100th time using rover, if Bill and Emma are available look no further and book ASAP. It was our first time using Rover and we, and our 1 year old playful mutt could not have had a better experience. They were flexible, responsive and attentive. The only thing you’ll have to worry about it your pet not wanting to leave (kidding). Thank you Bill and Emma for a seamless experience, we hope our paths cross again!”

“Mackenna was fabulous. We felt VERY comfortable leaving our dog with her. She has a very warm personality, and she was quick to communicate which is comforting when leaving your furry best friend with a new family. She also sent us a bunch of pictures. Don’t hesitate to hire Makenna, she’s exactly what you are looking for in a dog sitter!”

About: I absolutely love all dogs, any size and breed. I was a foster parent for a local animal rescue before I had my youngest daughter. My family and I have owned many dogs during my life. Currently my family does not have any dogs. I have always treated my dogs like a member of my family, without 'spoiling' them. Any specific requests, or needs I will certainly listen to them without question. I have a very flexible work schedule, and can provide any service that you are looking for. The only thing I will not be able to do is overnight stays since I have young children. I’m currently working part time from home, and can be available whenever I am needed! I am available for boarding and visits on the weekends! I have a dog kennel and can take them for walks if needed. If they need to be crated, I am able to do that as well.
About: "With years of experience in pet care, I provide a loving, safe, and reliable environment for your furry friends. From daily walks and playtime to feeding and grooming, I ensure your pets are treated like family. Whether it's a short visit or long-term care, your pet's well-being is my top priority I work quite a bit, but I always make time for the animals around me! Doing this helps me to have enough time for them. I can provide a safe walk and or safe drop in which helps to keep your pets safe. Which is a top priority to me.
About: 2 years ago I got my first dog, Taro, as a puppy of not even 2 months. Since then, I've immersed myself in dog training and constantly get compliments on how well-behaved my dog is. In the middle of the COVID pandemic I took some time while my classes were remote to learn and travel. One of such experiences was a 3 month stay in North Carolina with a family who had raised a number of award-winning, hunting dogs and had just adopted 2 new puppies for training. In that time I learned alot about dog obedience and good manners training. I believe my unique experiences with dogs the last nearly 2 years set me apart from a standard pet carer. I'm willing to walk dogs who have difficulties with pulling on the leash or jumping on strangers during walks. If given a regular schedule with your dog and your permission to use training treats I would be happy to help your dog improve on these problem behaviors. *Note* *I would not be bringing mine or any other client dogs on any scheduled client walks unless you give permission to. When Taro was a puppy I would sometimes take him on walks with well-behaved, older dogs to get him socialized to other dogs. If this is something you'd like me to work on with your dog that can be discussed* I have generally open availability. I walk my own dog twice day with some longer walks reserved for training sessions. I am available after 4pm most weekdays and as needed on weekends. To the specifications of the owner. I take great care to not disrupt the life of my client pup too much just because their parents are out of town.

“We had such a wonderful experience with Erin! She took amazing care of our kitty and gave us so much peace of mind while we were traveling. Knowing our cat was in such loving and capable hands allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our trip. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for kitty, and we’re incredibly grateful. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter! 🐱💛”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all age and sizes since I was a child. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to do anything their pet needs while they’re away. In the future I’m looking to take a dog training course and slow transition into that as a full time job. Every morning I wake up and immediately tend to the dogs and let them outside to use the bathroom and play around, then we come Inside to eat breakfast to start the day. We go outside about 3x daily to potty and play. I have a big privacy fenced in yard for play time. I have 4 dogs of my own. However I typically do not let them converse with my boarding dogs unless known that they are friendly.
About: I am a huge animal lover with professional experience as a dog walker/sitter. Right now my schedule is pretty flexible. Ideally, I would like to find a few dogs that would like to be walked throughout the week or checked on. I have a 10 + years experience dog sitting short/long term. I'm able to provide great references for the pets I've cared for in the past! I am energetic, fun, and easy to get along with. I like to make the most out of our time together! I like to be outdoors as much as possible. If your dog is comfortable, I would love to take your dog to events, the dog park, and short hikes. Your dog will love the experience I will provide! Dogs usually immediately like me and feel comfortable around me. Dogs of all ages and sizes welcome! I'm looking forward to meeting you and your fue babies! I am currently working part-time. I have plenty of time, as well as a flexible schedule, to attend to your pet with my undivided attention. I pride myself on treating clients pets the same as my own, with lots of love and affection! “We can’t say enough great things about our doggy daycare experience! From day one, the communication has been incredible, we receive tons of pictures and thoughtful updates that truly give us peace of mind. It’s clear how much care and attention goes into every day. Spencer has also been so flexible and accommodating with our schedules when things come up, which we really appreciate. Most importantly, Xena absolutely loves going there! She gets so excited and comes home happy and tired every time. The socialization she’s getting has been amazing, especially as a puppy. It’s been such great preparation for her development and confidence. We’re so grateful to have found someone we trust completely with our girl!”

“Mimi had an unbelievable day with Kelly and another dog. Kelly was very attentive and considerate doggy sitter. She kept our dog busy outdoors and indoors. Mimi had a blast of a day. Kelly kept us in the know throughout Mimi's stay with regular photos and messages. A fact that let enjoy our visit to Corning knowing that dog is in good hands .”

About: I actively foster dogs/puppies on a consistent basis for several years. I've worked with the same Animal Rescue for a long period of time and have experience with many different situations. With the Rescue I regularly handle different scenarios and medical needs, from new born pups to seniors! I'm comfortable with all shapes, sizes, and medical history. Most temperaments I have lots of experience with as well. I work from home full-time. I'm home all day every day Monday-Friday. My weekends only consist of a few errands making me gone for no longer than 4-5 hours at a time. I have a 7ft tall, fully fenced, back yard. I can kennel a dog if needed, but generally they would be out hanging with me. No dog will be left unattended, inside or outside, for long periods of time. I have two adult dogs in the home that can be introduced or remain separate if needed. I also have a 6yr old in the home that loves and is respectful of all animals.

“Amanda was great! Winter was crazy and happy as usual when I picked her up from daycare with Amanda so it looked like she had a good time there and was a tired girl on the way home.”

“If there was >5 stars, this would be a time to use it! From the very beginning Janet was an absolute sweetheart, meeting me on the porch to grab my little guy, asking pertinent questions to be sure she was doing the best for him and even putting up low wires in her house to keep him from chewing them (puppy) Dash took to her immediately, tail wagging and kisses like she was an old friend of his, since dogs are a good judge of character, I just knew this was going to be a great day for him. From picture updates, to her summarizing their daily activities for me, I was totally at ease and had a happy heart with my decision to reach out to Janet to keep Dash for the day. She is simply the best!”

“10/10 AMAZING!! Hanna truly went above and beyond for my pup, providing exceptional care and support! I was in Ithaca for an intensive week at school, and needed last-minute help with my dog so she wouldn't be stuck in the hotel room all day while I was in class. Hanna responded quickly to my request and was extremely accommodating when school responsibilities extended my dog's care past the agreed-upon timeframe. I received occasional updates and photos during the day, and Hanna was very responsive to any messages. Highly recommend Hanna and her services, and I will definitely be a repeat customer the next time I find myself in Ithaca with my dog! Thanks so much again!!”

“I dropped my dog off for daycare with Roxanne and she was great! She sent me multiple pictures throughout the day as well as updates on how she was doing. This was my first experience with Rover and it couldn’t have gone better! So happy to know that I now have a go-to sitter whenever I need one! Highly recommend!!”

About: Growing up I always had a family dog. More recently, I have taken care of many friends and family member's dogs over the years. Now I wanted to take that further and help out more people when they need their fur babies taken care of. I am a teacher so availability changes based on the season, but if I am able to help, I will! I am a teacher, so my availability does change based on the season. I have pretty flexible available hours during weekends, summers and school breaks. During the school year, I will be available on weekdays starting at 3:00pm. I do have a fenced in back yard which is very helpful for pets. For going to a clients house I do want to make sure that the area is safe. The dog is on a leash before going outside and knowing the kind of dog and the dog's needs.

About: I grew up on a farm so I've always been around animals. I have experience with dogs, cats, pigs, chickens, etc. Animals don't ask for much so we should try to give them the best life possible. I am not afraid to get dirty and clean up if your animal has an accident. I have a lot of availability right now. I don't have a 9 to 5 job so I can try to fit walks or visits to your schedule. I will double check any safety concerns you have. Whether your dog can be in yard by themselves or if you car is allowed outside at all. If I'm not sure of something I will always ask you first before I do anything.
