At my home, your pets safety, happiness, and comfort are my top priorities. I live on 2 acres with three separate fenced in areas, giving pets plenty of space to play, explore, and exercise safely. Whether it’s a high energy dog who loves to run or a more relaxed pet who prefers quiet time, each pet has a secure space tailored to their needs. I provide a clean, calm, and loving environment where pets feel at ease. From supervised playtime to cozy rest areas, every detail is designed to ensure their well being. About: Hey dog owners! Been doing Rover since 2019 and I absolutely LOVE it! My Mom was a veterinarian and my Dad was a police k9 handler/trainer (both now retired), so I’ve been in the doggy/animal realm my entire life. I’ve been volunteering at shelters all around the country since 2005 with most recently weekend-fostering shelter dogs providing training, companionship, and fun outside the shelter environment. I worked as the sole Summer handler at a sled dog kennel (30 dogs) in Denali Alaska and have 2 years experience in the Veterinary assistant world. As you can see it's a big part of my life! I'm not able to have a dog of my own at present, so I resort to getting my four legged buddy fix through yours! It's more fun for me than a job. Plus I'm ALWAYS learning something new with every client and animal. As far as schedule goes, I work in Bridgeport, CA M-F 0800 to 1630 with weekends off and live in Wellington, NV. I work in office, so will not be able to provide care during that 8hr time (plus drive time to your place). I'm available 100% on weekends. When I'm in your home I treat your dog like they're mine (and I treat my own dogs better than most people treat their children). Dog is never off leash when outside the home (even if trained and perfect). Dog is ALWAYS supervised in a fenced in yard. I try to keep feeding and outdoor times consistent with what the client does when normally home. When walking around the neighborhood I move off trail/road if another dog/person approaches as a precaution. I create a medication checklist for the duration of the stay to ensure everything is covered and nothing is forgotten. I'm incredibly thorough and everything will be gone over in a meet and greet prior to the stay (mandatory).
