“This review is long overdue! Gina and Erik watched our two golden retrievers while in Tahoe for a family gathering in May 2023. They treated our dogs like their own and sent us lots of updates, photos and videos of our dogs during their stay. Our dogs looked SO HAPPY and clearly LOVED Gina and Erik. During a thunderstorm, one of our dogs was scared and Gina made a rub of essentials oils to help calm him, and Erik gave him hugs on the couch. About: Dogs have always been apart of my life. I volunteered in a service dog program called 4Paws4Patriots and in doing so I got to learn so much about dog care/handling. Ever since then, dogs have always owned a piece of my heart, I just had to figure out how to follow my passion. Which led me to American k-9 interdiction (AK9I), where I took a 13 week course and became a professional dog trainer. I now have three dogs and own my own dog training business (Big Paws Protection). I have owned a Siberian husky, German Shepard, and an Alaskan Malamute. I currently own a Belgian Malinios. A lot of work have gone into them and still go into them. I can drop in or go out for a walk throughout the day -- very flexible schedule. I would love to meet you and your animal before the stay if I am house sitting, or dropping in. I am happy to meet your pet the day of for walks. I understand that every animal and home is unique - I would love to be acquainted with your preferences.
About: I've taken care of animals and been around them since I was young.puppies, and Senior dogs as well. Ive had a few dogs of my own. I work here and there, and can take on some extra work with dog sitting and walking etc. I feel I am a good fit since I love dogs their therapy. I have taken care of senior dogs with disabilitys also medical conditions. Owned up to 5 dogs at one time. And would look forward to looking after and spending time with yours. I can attend to the requirements of the owner and will give the needed attention. Wether it be in my home or the clients home.

We make sure that when we leave the house that we’re not gone for too long so that our dog can go to the bathroom and that both our dog and cat are comfortable and emotionally secure.
About: I have a lot of experience with animal sitting, dog walking etc. Growing up my family has always had at least 3 dogs, I have had many cats in my lifetime as well. I have a flexible work schedule. I usually work Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, but it varies. Typically, I work long hours around 10 or 12. “This review is long overdue! Gina and Erik watched our two golden retrievers while in Tahoe for a family gathering in May 2023. They treated our dogs like their own and sent us lots of updates, photos and videos of our dogs during their stay. Our dogs looked SO HAPPY and clearly LOVED Gina and Erik. During a thunderstorm, one of our dogs was scared and Gina made a rub of essentials oils to help calm him, and Erik gave him hugs on the couch.
