About: I love to take care of any type of dog. Big, small, they’re all my favorites. I have always had a love for dogs since i was a little girl. My first dog was a great dane/pit mix, her name was Charlie. Charlie was a rescue pup. My mom and i rescued her and she was a very expensive one to get healthy again. Charlie had parvo and lots of other things, but she is now doing better than ever and here we are 11 years later :). Seeing charlie grow into the beautiful dog she is today has grown my love for dogs. I then got another dog, Lulu, Lulu is a miniature Australian shepard and is almost two years old. About: I’m a small-breed dog mom to two friendly Shih Tzus. I’ve trained both of them from puppyhood, so I’m experienced in teaching calm behavior, basic obedience, and creating a well-structured environment for small dogs. I’m happy to reinforce good manners. I have a fenced backyard and a fenced small-breed dog park within walking distance, and we go there every other day for playtime and socializing. Leonard and Taylor are both gentle, well-behaved, and great companions for visiting pups. My home is calm, clean, and ideal for small-breed dogs who enjoy a safe and friendly environment. I’m available full time for boarding on weekends and holidays. On weekdays, my two Shih Tzus—Leonard (born April 2024) and Taylor (born March 2025)—stay home from about 10am to 6pm. We make sure that when we leave the house that we’re not gone for too long so that our dog can go to the bathroom and that both our dog and cat are comfortable and emotionally secure.
About: i previously worked at petsmart in petcare taking care of different types of animals everyday. as well as taking care of my own animals which includes dogs, cats, horses, chickens, ect i will be working 7am-4pm mon-fri. i’ll get up earlier to feed them and walk them if they need a walk. if needed and i can let them out on my lunch & i’ll be back after work to spend the rest of the night with them in my home my dogs have a fenced in backyard, when they’re inside they have lots of toys to play with and always have food and water available. that’s how i’ll be with any of my clients animals

Now that I have met April & Rachel, I would not take Kilo any place else to watch our boy. I felt so comfortable after our meet & greet with the living arrangements and with the humans watching over him. I knew he would be treated like a king and in good safe hands. I didn’t have to worry about him the whole time I was gone. April & Rachel sent us photos/videos of Kilo so that I could see first hand how he was doing. He was getting the love and attention (even more than when he is at home) and this made us very happy. It’s nice to know he’s in great hands when we are away. April & Rachel will be my first call for my next trip and I would recommend them for your pups too. 🐶 🐾”

She asked questions I wouldn’t have thought to tell her to ensure our dog was happy and safe, including a description of the other pets that would be present during his stay. She also welcomed a meetup beforehand to make sure our dog was compatible with her own pets, and showed me her house and yard, which gave me peace of mind. During his stay, she provided daily walks and enrichment, and sent awesome daily updates with photos. Our dog is normally very nervous being away from us, but actually seemed disappointed to leave Maria’s house when we picked him up!”

“Mistine is amazing. I left my 18 month old pit mix rescue with her for 3 days/2 nights. Bella is 58 pounds of pure energy and sometimes hard to keep up with. Although she is trained and follows basic commands, she still suffers from separation anxiety and is a challenge when she gets overstimulated (new environment, different stimuli). Mistine did a great job with caring for her. I highly recommend Mistine for anyone wanting the best care for their pet.”
