“Farrah and her family take great care of our little dog. He is 5 lbs, and comes back home without a scratch, unlike when boarding him at other locations. We will continue to use and trust Farrah.”

“Frisco felt right at home staying with Hallie while we were away for a long weekend in Reno. Hallie was an excellent communicator and kept us updated every day with photos and messages which gave us so much peace of mind. Frisco was well cared for and having a great time playing with other dog friends too. We would absolutely book with Hallie again!”

“My three dogs were well taken care of if not spoiled during their week stay. My blind Chiweenie puppy fell in love with Lauren! The feeling was mutual. You cannot ask for more than that! I would recommend boarding or sitting your dog(s) with Lauren. ❤️❤️❤️”

“Ivy was a hit! She provided exceptional communication and sent daily updates with photos, taking the stress off of leaving our pet while out of town. Our cat is initially timid but was completely relaxed and happy, roaming around when we picked her up. Good job - thank you!”

“We had a test run. Our dog seemed to be happy when we picked her up. Eleni stated she had no problems. She also stated her family enjoyed spending time with our Haleigh. We are pleased with Eleni and her service provided. Would rebook and recommend.”

“Susan and her family were incredible! We have never left our boys with anyone who isn't family, but Susan took care of them as if they were. If you are looking for some place for your dogs to get plenty of love and attention while you are away, I absolutely recommend Susan! We have already booked our next stay with her.”

“Laura was very nice to take my last minute request. She sent me daily updates and photos and assured me my dog was doing well. Lastly, she allowed a very late night pick up when my return flight was delayed. All in all, I'm very happy with her service! I wouldn't hesitate to use her again in the future.”

“Oh my goodness Christine was amazing! She sent the most majestic photos of Archer. She took him on adventures and walks (even more than I do). She had other dogs and they all got along well. Ill easily be recommending and using Christine again for watching Archer. I can not recommended her enough”

“Ronnie was fantastic. He and his pups were very friendly and sweet to our high energy blue heeler. Edith basically had her own doggie vacation. Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves their pets like family.”

“Megan and her family were great with my dogs! She sent updates and pictures, and my dogs came home happy, and exhausted in the best way. They clearly had a great time there. Will definitely be booking with Megan again.”

“Shanna was amazing! She went above and beyond anything we have experienced so far. We were nervous to leave our boys at a local doggie camp due to it potentially feeling like a shelter they once came from. Shanna set up a meet and greet prior to us booking so we knew exactly what to expect. Our boys had a blast with other doggies and Shanna was extremely communicative with frequent updates and photos. She even washed our dog beds and sent our boys away with cute and stylish bandanas. She even paid special care to our senior needs dog. We absolutely will be booking with Shanna in the future!”

“My pups have never been to a pet sitter before. Of course, they were both scared and nervous. They did beautfully. Melisa provided frequent updates with photos of both my dogs settling in nicely, relaxiing around the house! Lexi is on a special diet yo lose a few pounds. Not only did Melisa follow my special breakfast/dinner instructions, Lexi got to go on nice walks to help her slim down. Very appreciative of her special care for my babis. Highly recommend Melisa!!”

“From the first moment I made communication with Chelsea through Rover I knew she would be great. I recommend if you want a great experience with Rover. Chelsea is the way to go for a CARING & RELIABLE dog sitter. We explained all of the needs for our senior dog and she provided all the care. My wife and I loved her positive energy and great communication during the whole experience. We will always use Chelsea in the future for our Reno dog sitter. We rate her 5 stars!”

“Jacob and his fiancée did such a wonderful job taking care of Teddy! He provided photos and updates often and I was confident he was being well taken care of. My puppy always looked so happy and like he was always having so much fun!”

I understand that every cat is different. Some love attention and playtime, while others prefer quiet companionship and a calm environment. I’m happy to follow your cat’s routine closely and provide updates, photos, and videos so you know they’re safe and well cared for.

About: Dogs have always been apart of my life. I volunteered in a service dog program called 4Paws4Patriots and in doing so I got to learn so much about dog care/handling. Ever since then, dogs have always owned a piece of my heart, I just had to figure out how to follow my passion. Which led me to American k-9 interdiction (AK9I), where I took a 13 week course and became a professional dog trainer. I now have three dogs and own my own dog training business (Big Paws Protection). I have owned a Siberian husky, German Shepard, and an Alaskan Malamute. I currently own a Belgian Malinios. A lot of work have gone into them and still go into them. Caring for dogs can be challenging but I love the work and seeing the dog improving is worth every minute I am a professional dog trainer and have been around dogs all my life, I feel that I can handle most any situation you can throw at me. If I got the chance to work with your dog I would take it.
About: Hi! I’m Justin, your friendly neighborhood dog whisperer. I’ve been caring for dogs for over 20 years, ever since I was a teenager. Whether it’s seniors, puppies, nervous dogs, or the little quirky ones with big personalities, animals naturally gravitate toward me. I truly believe dogs can feel energy, and they always seem to feel safe and understood around me. I’m a full-time remote worker with a calm, grounding home environment, and I treat every pup who stays with me like they’re part of my family. My own dogs, Peaches and Cosmo, are used to having friends over and do great with small dogs who have good manners. I understand dog body language deeply and I know how to create a safe, low-stress environment for every pup. What you can expect with me: • Constant supervision & love • A secure home with a fenced yard • Playtime and enrichment • Separate feeding areas if needed • Safe introductions and lots of patience • Photos, videos, and updates throughout the day • A sitter who genuinely loves dogs and has done this all his life I’m experienced with: ✔ small/delicate dogs ✔ anxious dogs ✔ senior dogs ✔ special diets ✔ meds (non-injection) ✔ rescue pups ✔ multi-dog households If you want someone who will give your dog the same love, attention, and protection they get at home, I’m your person. Your dog’s happiness, safety, and comfort always come first, and I promise to treat them like my own. I can’t wait to meet your pup! 🐶💛 Pet care is built into my lifestyle. I work from home full-time, so I’m able to give the dogs consistent attention, supervision, and love throughout the entire day. 🕒 A Typical Day Looks Like This: • Morning: I start the day with potty breaks and a relaxing neighborhood walk to help everyone get their energy out. Dogs get breakfast afterward in separate feeding areas to keep mealtimes peaceful. • Midday: I’m home working, so dogs can nap near me, chew on enrichment toys, or enjoy supervised backyard breaks. I check in with them frequently and give cuddles or playtime based on their needs. • Afternoon: Another walk or potty break, depending on your dog’s routine. I make sure everyone gets movement, attention, and reassurance throughout the day. • Evening: Dinner time (again fed separately), followed by more relaxation, play, or quiet cuddles on the couch. I’m very sensitive to each dog’s preferences — some want to play, some want to chill. 🏠 My Home Is Calm, Safe, and Always Supervised Because I’m home all day, your pup is never left alone for long periods, and I can monitor how well they’re adjusting. I only accept small dogs, which keeps the energy manageable for everyone — including my two dogs, Peaches and Cosmo. When your dog stays with me, they become part of my little family. I’ve been caring for dogs for over 20 years, and I take their comfort, safety, and happiness seriously. Here’s exactly what you can expect when your pup stays in my home: 🏠 A Calm, Safe Home Environment My home is clean, peaceful, and set up specifically for dogs. I work remotely, so I’m home most of the day and able to give your pup lots of attention, structure, and supervision. I only host small dogs, which keeps the energy gentle and reduces stress during introductions. 🐶 Thoughtful, Stress-Free Introductions I introduce your dog to my two small dogs, Peaches and Cosmo, slowly and safely, usually outdoors first. I’m skilled in reading dog body language, so I ensure everyone feels comfortable before letting them interact freely inside.
“My dog was happy when I picked him up. He was well fed and taken care of. I can tell when my dog has a good time at a sitters home and my dog definitely had a good time. I will rebook again :)”

“Warm and loving environment! My dog is high maintenance but Brittany and her family took wonderful care of my dog and I’d recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter or doggy day care. Kept me updated with photos and videos as well to give me peace of mind. Highly recommend!”

“We have a rambunctious lab puppy that I worried would be too much for my parents while we were out of town. My parents raved about Brianna. She walked our dog everyday for a week and he loved it and she really helped him get some energy out! We would definitely look to book her again.”

“Carrie is awesome. When I sent her a message, she responded back super fast and is great about communicating when she can or cannot walk my dog. She is always punctual and has a wonderful personality. 😊”

About: I started taking care of dogs in September of 2025 at dog daycares. It’s not long, but I’ve learned so much in 6 months and I’m truly happy to be able to take care of dogs. I’m able to read body language if dogs are scared, uncomfortable, or agitated, I’ll be able to help. I’ve administered medications to dogs that need, even if the dog is being difficult. It is my duty to make sure that each dog is attended to and cared for. My schedule will allow me to give your dog plenty of attention throughout the day. I am available at any time when needed to do walks, drop-in visits, and overnight care. I make sure every pet receives regular exercise, playtime, companionship, and a consistent routine while you're away. Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I provide a clean, secure, and loving environment where dogs can feel relaxed and at home. I carefully follow feeding schedules, exercise routines, medication instructions, and any special care requests. I treat every pet as if they were my own and provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I worked as a kennel technician at a dog daycare, so all this comes naturally to me!

About: Hello! I’m a lifelong dog lover and artist currently spending some time in the beautiful Reno/Tahoe area for art research and inspiration. My heart belongs to animals. My beloved Yorkie was my sidekick for 15 wonderful years, and we spent countless days exploring the outdoors together. Because I’m currently traveling and focusing on my art, I have a flexible schedule and a lot of love to give to your fur babies while I'm in town! I treat every pet like family. Whether your dog loves high-energy outdoor adventures, a relaxing stroll, or just quiet cuddle time while I sketch, I happily match their energy and routine. 📸 Stay Connected: You can expect regular updates, photos, and videos so you always know your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. My Skills & Services 🐕 Dog Walking & Outdoor Play: Ready to explore local trails or just stroll around the block. 💖 Endless Love & Attention: Lots of snuggles, positive reinforcement, and companionship. 🍲 Feeding & Meal Prep: Experienced with specific dietary instructions and schedules. 💊 Medication Support: Comfortable maintaining moderate medication schedules. 🐈 Cat Friendly: Meow spoken here, too! I're happy to hang out with your feline friends. Your pet will always be treated with the utmost kindness, patience, and the same deep love I gave my own dog for 15 years. I can't wait to meet them! I am a self-employed artist and director of a small nonprofit, which gives me an incredibly flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. Much of my work involves painting landscapes—capturing the beautiful mountains, lakes, and high-desert light of the Reno/Tahoe area. Because my art keeps me outdoors, I am always ready to take dogs along for fresh-air strolls, sniffing adventures, and outdoor playtime. When I am working from my laptop or sketching, pets in my care receive relaxed companionship, lots of attention, and plenty of snuggles. My flexible routine allows me to easily accommodate weekday or weekend care, house sitting, and extended stays. Your pet will seamlessly become a part of my creative, peaceful day! Since I am currently in the Reno/Tahoe area for art research, I'll mainly be focusing on House Sitting (in the client's home), Dog Walking, or Drop-In Visits rather than hosting pets at my residence (however, some exceptions can be made). Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are my absolute priorities. Whether I am house-sitting in your home or visiting for walks, I treat your home with the utmost respect and your pet like family. Safety Outdoors: Because the Reno/Tahoe area has beautiful wildlife (like deer, coyotes, and bears), I keep all dogs securely on-leash during our walks unless we are in a designated, securely fenced dog park and you have explicitly approved off-leash time. I am also highly mindful of the pavement temperature and hydration during warm high-desert days. A Familiar, Relaxing Atmosphere: Inside your home, I strive to keep your pet’s environment calm, positive, and consistent. I love providing relaxed companionship—whether I'm sketching nearby or enjoying quiet cuddle time. Following Their Routine: I strictly follow your pet's established routine, including precise feeding schedules, favorite walking routes, and any necessary medication tracking. If your pet uses a crate, playpen, or has specific house rules, I will mirror them exactly. You can rest easy knowing your home is secure, and your fur baby is receiving dedicated, loving, and highly attentive care while you're away!

I have a 5 year old poodle mix that is friendly will all animals and have amble space for them to play in the house and outside in the fenced yard.
“Alejandra was great with Leo. She communicated very well and made sure I was updated on anything regarding Leo. If you are looking for a dog sitter, she is a great one! Thank you so much for caring for my Leo.”

“We are recent transplants to Reno so it is always a worry re: finding care for our girl when we are away. Kelly took great care to learn all about Heidi’s care before we booked. Her communication was excellent (she sent photos during the stay and got back to me quickly whenever I checked in). Juneau is obviously a lovely dog and I’m sure Heidi enjoyed having company around. We are so happy to have found a great sitter in our new city”

“Lisa is a gem! From the initial booking request through to the completion of our first stay, Lisa was engaging and very prompt in responding to inquiries. Could not be more pleased to have found her!”

“Christina and her kids took such great care of our dogs Sophie and Tucker. They were happy when we picked them up and came home and both crashed. They were so tired! Christina followed our directions on feeding the dogs to a tee. She or her kids were home with the dogs the whole time. I am so glad our dogs got to spend a significant time with her! I would highly recommend her!”
