“I honestly can’t believe how lucky I got finding David and Megumi. This was truly the B E S T experience I’ve had with boarding him. David went above and beyond and sent me LOTS of updates and some of the sweetest photos I’ve seen of my dog. He LOVED playing with their kids and pup and it made me so happy to see him looking so relaxed and loved. Usually a good indicator how they are when you pick them up and my pup was SO calm, happy, and dead asleep for our entire 5 hr drive home, which never happens! It honestly felt like he didn’t want to leave, and that says everything. I’m just so grateful to have found them. David was super communicative, flexible, and his family was just genuinely lovely. About: I have lovingly cared for my friends' cats and dogs since 2010, always in their home. (Please note that I do not accept hotel sit requests.) As for your pets, as long as you provide me with the details of their usual routine, I will try my best to keep them to that routine. Being semi-retired, I have a flexible schedule to tend to the needs and wants of your pet(s). My daily routine includes waking between 6:00 and 7:30 am (unless pets need attention earlier), time outdoors, occasional sits with grandkids (in Las Vegas), and retiring for the night by 10 or 11 pm. As time allows, I enjoy exploring nearby trails and parks. I will treat your pets with love and respect, and have the schedule flexibility to maintain their established routines. I will honor your guidelines for your pets in your home and do not currently accept pets for boarding in my home. As for home care, I am happy to take out trash, collect mail, and water plants as part of my pet care service. With your permission to use the washing machine & dryer, I will launder bed sheets and towels that I have used during my stay prior to my departure on the final day of sit.

We live in a friendly family neighborhood in Las Vegas, NV. We have two daughters 8 & 4 who both absolutely adore animals and love to cuddle and love on them. We have a 9 year old poodle/terrier mix and a 2 year old King Charles Spaniel, who are both friendly and plays great with other dogs. We were both raised in large households with multiple dogs and breeds. We have experience with pets with medical needs and can give medicine if needed. We both work from home which gives us the capability of being home with our pups! There is always someone home to take care of the animals! While in our home, your pup will have full access to our backyard and will be treated as family. Our dogs have access to our entire home and so will yours! Before bed, we do have a final potty break and lock up for the night. The pups can sleep wherever you or they prefer and will be taken to the bathroom right away. (Puppies will be taken out throughout the night as well to help decrease accidents.) Plenty of water will be left out during the day. Typically, we feed our dog before and after work, but can adjust to your pups feeding schedule/routine. If we are away, which is very seldom, we do have a security system with alarms and cameras and will check in frequently to see how the dogs are doing. While we are home, the dogs have full access to our huge yard with supervision. If you prefer, we can kennel any dogs who are kept kennel trained while their homeowner is away. We also can leave potty pads for the dogs to go if need be. Since it is winter, we may be able to get at least one walk on the leash in (if leash is provided and depending on weather). In addition to watching and loving your pets in our home, we can pick up and drop off your pets, bathe your pets, and also offer in home check ups on your pets as well. My husband and I both work remotely, which means we will have all the time to spend playing with and loving on your pets while they’re in our care! I have a fenced in yard with two playful pups who will help keep your dog busy! I can easily crate your dog if needed.

“Samantha did a great job house sitting and taking care of our diabetic cat. Big Fat Cat is insulin dependent and normally requires two blood sugar checks and two insulin shot per day. That's on top the seizure and appetite stimulant pills he takes. This was the first time we've used Samantha and Rover and we'd definitely use Samantha again. She was very responsive and sent photos and updates on a regular basis. We would recommend her to anyone who needs a housesitter and especially to anyone whose pet has special medical needs.”

“We are so happy and fortunate to have found Vivian (and her husband Richard!) to look after Macho! They are so kind, considerate, thoughtful people and they were so loving towards Macho! At the meet/greet, they gave us a tour of their extremely clean and organized home with comfy sofas, rugs and a lot of natural sunlight (AND an outdoor fenced area for outdoor play time!), asked very detailed questions, and what we noticed the most was that they focused their attention not on me or my husband, but rather on Macho. They got on the floor to get to know Macho right away. Vivian accommadated our super early drop off requests (once again she is just so kind and considerate for helping us with this) for each day. During each day that Macho was with her, she gave us a TON of text messages with pictures and videos (loved it!). Also Vivian makes a mean and delicious cup of coffee, once again, she is just so nice! For each day, Vivian provided Macho with different activities like play time outside, short training sessions, nap time, lounge time, even help manage and watch important offfice/computer work being done by Richard. Macho always had something interesting to do. On top of dropping Macho off early, we had to pick him up on the late side which was absolutely no problem with Vivian. Macho was not overly tired after each day with Vivian and every morning looked forward to seeing them again. At the last minute towards the end of our booking, we had to ask Vivian if she could PICK UP and DROP off Macho early and late each day. And guess what, Vivian said... NO PROBLEM. So we really have nothing more to add other than stressing again that Vivian and Rich are kind and terrific people who really gave Macho so much attention and care. We are so fortunate and lucky to have met them on Rover. We will without hesitation go to Vivian to look after Macho in the future!”

About: Grew up with dogs, and fell in love with cats when I was adopted by my best friend Jimmy in 2007. Jimmy is no longer with me as he crossed the rainbow bridge in 2023 but I live with 3 (little) senior dogs, 4 cats and a toddler (and of course a husband). I am good with senior kitties/dogs and familiar with the medicine needed for high thyroid in cats I am working from home, and am pretty flexible as long as I know a little in advance. So even same day visits are possible I have a big fenced backyard and will treat your furry friend just like my own and will follow whatever directions are given to me. Our backyard offers a lot of shade for the hot Vegas months, and we have a bunch of umbrellas and plenty of water bowls

About: I’ve been a deep and true lover of doggies since before I can remember. I love connecting with them and the reciprocal love that comes from it! I provided hospice care for 2 doggies for a couple years each when they were near the end of their life. I’ve also taken care of emergency situations. At the most I’m only gone a few hours at a time, once or twice a day so your babies will receive plenty of time to play, love, and be loved! We play fetch, go for walks when it’s not too hot, cuddle up on the couch, and have only healthy low fat treats! My 2 girls are crate trained and I have extra crates here for other pets too! I’m also well versed in feeding very specific diets & being aware and on top of specific health issues/needs. I do not permit doggies to eat or access anything that might harm them. I also have experience training my doggies so I can help teach/practice/continue training for yours!

About: I have taken care of several breeds and ages of dogs over the past 5 years for family and friends. They have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets. I most recently rescued my 1 year old German Shepard at 4 months old and have experience potty training, crate training, and leash training. I also have experience administering oral and topical medication. I will be sure to treat your pet with as much love and care as I do my own. I work from home full-time throughout the week and will be able to give your pet the love and attention they need. My medium size 1.5 year old German Shepard mix will also be around to keep your pet company. I have a fenced yard with turf for additional play time space outdoors or potty breaks. The house is fully air conditioned/heated. I also have a very friendly, playful, and well-behaved German Shepard mix dog who will be the best play mate or someone to lay around with to keep your pet company. We have a pet gate on our staircase, so pets will be downstairs the entirety of their stay. We do not allow pets on furniture or on beds.

I started working alongside a veterinarian aiding in procedures and check ups. I was in 4-H for 4 years showing goats and horses. Leading up to my FFA days all throughout high school. I pet sat for several families in high school, spending time loving and cuddling them. I have experience in dog training. In recent years I have walked dogs for family members and for my very own pup! I volunteered for Greenhill and the 1st Avenue shelter, being trained in dog walking at both facilities and working with aggressive and nervous pups. I have administered medications for special pups when needed, and taken care of pups with special dietary restrictions. I grew up with lots of animals and caring for them is truly my passion. About: I am a outgoing and down to earth person who has a soft spot for animals, especially dogs. I had to take a break from pet sitting due to it not fitting in my schedule with school. I’d love to get back into it! I grew up helping my grandma with her dog and horse rescue. About: Ive lived with and cared for many different types of animals since i was a child. I have extensive experience working with dogs, cats and goats. My schedule is a bit unusual in that I forage for wild mushrooms during the summer and fall in Washington and spend my winters in Vegas. David went above and beyond and sent me LOTS of updates and some of the sweetest photos I’ve seen of my dog. Usually a good indicator how they are when you pick them up and my pup was SO calm, happy, and dead asleep for our entire 5 hr drive home, which never happens! “Moved to Vegas almost 2 years ago and hadn’t found the right dog sitting professional since we’ve been here. The search is over. My dog has anxiety and Emily’s expertise and professionalism put my dog and me at ease from the first interaction during a “meet and greet” to the end of our first trial weekend stay this past weekend. She sent videos during the stay which showed my dog was engaged, settled and calm. My dog had no issues and - surprisingly- didn’t need any (as needed) anxiety med the entire stay. One stand out- the boarding house with 4 or 5 rooms is spotless, no odors, each boarder or group of boarders has their own room and they don’t mingle ( a plus to avoid the risk of dogs fighting or sustaining injuries). The back yard is large and includes a pool. The yard is divided into separate spaces and there is ample room for more than one boarder to go outside for breaks without interaction. Why board at an animal hospital or kennel when I can provide this type of environment for my dog for the same nightly price and in some cases cheaper? We will be booking again. Highly recommended.”
