About: I have lovingly cared for my friends' cats and dogs since 2010, always in their home. (Please note that I do not accept hotel sit requests.) I enjoy quality pet time, and have thoroughly enjoyed meeting a variety of fur babies thru Rover and client referrals. I have a calm nature which soothes anxious pets and enjoy earning their trust and affection. Currently, pet sitting is my only job so I have a lot of time available to give love and attention to your pet(s). I prefer to care for your pets in their home, where they are most comfortable. I am honest, reliable, and dependable; don't smoke, drink, or throw parties; and will treat your home with great care and respect. As for your pets, as long as you provide me with the details of their usual routine, I will try my best to keep them to that routine. Being semi-retired, I have a flexible schedule to tend to the needs and wants of your pet(s). My daily routine includes waking between 6:00 and 7:30 am (unless pets need attention earlier), time outdoors, occasional sits with grandkids (in Las Vegas), and retiring for the night by 10 or 11 pm. As time allows, I enjoy exploring nearby trails and parks. I will treat your pets with love and respect, and have the schedule flexibility to maintain their established routines. I will honor your guidelines for your pets in your home and do not currently accept pets for boarding in my home. As for home care, I am happy to take out trash, collect mail, and water plants as part of my pet care service. With your permission to use the washing machine & dryer, I will launder bed sheets and towels that I have used during my stay prior to my departure on the final day of sit.
“Samantha did a great job house sitting and taking care of our diabetic cat. Big Fat Cat is insulin dependent and normally requires two blood sugar checks and two insulin shot per day. That's on top the seizure and appetite stimulant pills he takes. This was the first time we've used Samantha and Rover and we'd definitely use Samantha again. She was very responsive and sent photos and updates on a regular basis. We would recommend her to anyone who needs a housesitter and especially to anyone whose pet has special medical needs.”

About: Need somewhere for your dog(s) to stay while you go on that much needed vacation? Look no further, we can help! My name is Deann and my husband's name is Eric. We live in a friendly family neighborhood in Las Vegas, NV. We have two daughters 8 & 4 who both absolutely adore animals and love to cuddle and love on them. We have a 9 year old poodle/terrier mix and a 2 year old King Charles Spaniel, who are both friendly and plays great with other dogs. We were both raised in large households with multiple dogs and breeds. We have experience with pets with medical needs and can give medicine if needed. We both work from home which gives us the capability of being home with our pups! There is always someone home to take care of the animals! While in our home, your pup will have full access to our backyard and will be treated as family. Our dogs have access to our entire home and so will yours! Before bed, we do have a final potty break and lock up for the night. The pups can sleep wherever you or they prefer and will be taken to the bathroom right away. (Puppies will be taken out throughout the night as well to help decrease accidents.) Plenty of water will be left out during the day. Typically, we feed our dog before and after work, but can adjust to your pups feeding schedule/routine. If we are away, which is very seldom, we do have a security system with alarms and cameras and will check in frequently to see how the dogs are doing. While we are home, the dogs have full access to our huge yard with supervision. If you prefer, we can kennel any dogs who are kept kennel trained while their homeowner is away. We also can leave potty pads for the dogs to go if need be. Since it is winter, we may be able to get at least one walk on the leash in (if leash is provided and depending on weather). In addition to watching and loving your pets in our home, we can pick up and drop off your pets, bathe your pets, and also offer in home check ups on your pets as well. My husband and I both work remotely, which means we will have all the time to spend playing with and loving on your pets while they’re in our care! I have a fenced in yard with two playful pups who will help keep your dog busy! I can easily crate your dog if needed.

About: Have had and been around dogs and cats since I was born. I have 5 children, that will be helping feed, walk, love and care for your pet . We as a family, love to walk and explore places and go on hikes with the dog and just general walks in nature, being outside. We've been with very small dogs and very large dogs. “We are so happy and fortunate to have found Vivian (and her husband Richard!) to look after Macho! They are so kind, considerate, thoughtful people and they were so loving towards Macho! At the meet/greet, they gave us a tour of their extremely clean and organized home with comfy sofas, rugs and a lot of natural sunlight (AND an outdoor fenced area for outdoor play time!), asked very detailed questions, and what we noticed the most was that they focused their attention not on me or my husband, but rather on Macho. They got on the floor to get to know Macho right away. Vivian accommadated our super early drop off requests (once again she is just so kind and considerate for helping us with this) for each day. During each day that Macho was with her, she gave us a TON of text messages with pictures and videos (loved it!). Also Vivian makes a mean and delicious cup of coffee, once again, she is just so nice! For each day, Vivian provided Macho with different activities like play time outside, short training sessions, nap time, lounge time, even help manage and watch important offfice/computer work being done by Richard. Macho always had something interesting to do. On top of dropping Macho off early, we had to pick him up on the late side which was absolutely no problem with Vivian. Macho was not overly tired after each day with Vivian and every morning looked forward to seeing them again. At the last minute towards the end of our booking, we had to ask Vivian if she could PICK UP and DROP off Macho early and late each day. And guess what, Vivian said... NO PROBLEM. So we really have nothing more to add other than stressing again that Vivian and Rich are kind and terrific people who really gave Macho so much attention and care. We are so fortunate and lucky to have met them on Rover. We will without hesitation go to Vivian to look after Macho in the future!”

This was our 3 year old dogs first ever dog boarding ( she stayed with Alison 4 nites and 5 days.) It turned out wonderful so we could enjoy our Vegas vacation .
