About: NEW TO ROVER, but not new to pet sitting! I’m offering a discounted introductory rate while I build my Rover profile, but may up rates in the future if I get too busy. Dogs stay in my home as part of the family with me, my two animal-obsessed daughters, ages 12 and 16, and our two friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Your dog(s) have access to a fully fenced half-acre yard, a dog door, a clean and comfortable carpet-free home and plenty of room to run, sniff and explore indoors and outside. I prefer extended stays and host only one to four visiting dogs at a time, depending on their size, needs and personalities. This allows each dog to settle into our normal household routine and receive plenty of personal attention. I primarily accept small and medium dogs and require a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone will be safe, comfortable and relaxed together. I accept large dogs only if I have boarded them previously and know they are trustworthy around smaller animals, but if you feel strongly that your big mellow dog would fit in best with small animals and not play rough, please reach out! I’ve had dogs for most of my life and regularly care for pets belonging to friends and local families. I’m comfortable caring for senior dogs, administering medications and accommodating different exercise needs. I also offer drop-in care for cats, chickens and other small pets in their own homes. I work about 10 minutes from home and can usually come home at lunchtime when needed. Dogs get plenty of yard time before and after work, with evenings and weekends available for walks, play and attention. I’m a particularly good fit for dogs that are already comfortable relaxing at home during a normal workday. I can also accommodate midday meals, medications and other care needs. Visiting dogs live with us as part of the family. They’re welcome on the couch or bed and can use the dog door if they’re comfortable with it. My fully fenced, half-acre yard includes a large lawn, orchard, garden and sagebrush-covered hillside with lots of room to run and explore. Chickens are kept separately in an enclosed coop or their own fenced area. I’m directly on the Steamboat Ditch Trail, so walks start right from the house. I’m also happy to take energetic dogs on longer walks, hikes or runs.

About: I've had dogs my entire life. Right now, I share my home with my own corgi, who is fine with other dogs. I walked dogs in college, and now I am a PhD student with multiple days when I work from home. I am a PhD student and work from home several days a week, so I will be available for play time and outdoor breaks. About: Hi, I go by Ashton. I began working with dogs in a professional setting in 2011 in Anchorage Alaska. I received my Certificate to be a Professional Dog Trainer through Animal Behavior College and immediately began working along side seasoned obedience, behavior modification and agility trainers. After some time I was able to begin mentoring new trainers in basic obedience, teaching them how to run puppy and adult basic obedience group classes. Though my profession career began in 2011, my passion for working with dogs truly started many years before that, here in Reno,NV, when I adopted a Chow Chow named Leo. I was just a teenager and Leo had come with several severe behavioral issues. He was both human and dog aggressive, destructive, not house broken, had sever separation anxiety, ran aware regularly and was leash reactive. Despite being uneducated in dog behavior at the time, I began to do my own research and was dedicated to teaching Leo how to feel safe, happy and confident so that he would overcome his many barriers. We walked every day and I tirelessly worked toward socializing him. When I moved to Alaska, I took Leo with me, he became my practice dog and we learned dog behavior together! In no time, he was attending puppy class with me, rolling on the floor letting puppies jump all over him. He was going on walks with other leash reactive dogs, HE was the calm presence that helped other dogs see that it was all okay. Leo learned to love people and other animals, he learn to trust and because of him and everything he overcame, my heart was set on making that difference in as many lives as I possibly could. In 2024, as a single parent, I made the difficult choice to "retire" from dog training to focus on feeding other passions and traveling with my daughter. During that time I have continued to have a lovely time with my own dogs and the dogs of close family members, but I am starting to feel the ache of wanting to help again. I have decided to offer limited services related to dog walking, drop in visits, play dates, nail trims and limited bathing/grooming. (Oh, did I mention I used to be a dog foster parent, groomer and kennel tech alongside my training?) I have outline my services in more detail below; however, feel free to reach out with any questions if you don't see what you are looking for! I look forward to hearing from you :) I am offering evening walks Monday - Friday, drop in visits and extended walks on Saturdays and Sundays. “My precious boy have stayed at Ms.Shanna's house for many times like, seriously, I can't remember how many times already. She and her daughter treat Buchoy like a member of the family. They would take him to swimming in the lake, hiking, running, etc. Buchoy gets goodies every holiday like Valentines' Day, Easter, etc when he happens to be at Ms. Shanna's. This week Buchoy got a July 4th themed stuffed toy with his photo on the tag and bags of treats! If you read my previous review, it's not only Buchoy who would get goodies, because I get something too! If you want your dog be treated like a family member, have lots of fun and exercises, book with Ms. Shanna and you will surely thank me!”

About: NEW TO ROVER, but not new to pet sitting! I’m offering a discounted introductory rate while I build my Rover profile, but may up rates in the future if I get too busy. Dogs stay in my home as part of the family with me, my two animal-obsessed daughters, ages 12 and 16, and our two friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Your dog(s) have access to a fully fenced half-acre yard, a dog door, a clean and comfortable carpet-free home and plenty of room to run, sniff and explore indoors and outside. I prefer extended stays and host only one to four visiting dogs at a time, depending on their size, needs and personalities. This allows each dog to settle into our normal household routine and receive plenty of personal attention. I primarily accept small and medium dogs and require a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone will be safe, comfortable and relaxed together. I accept large dogs only if I have boarded them previously and know they are trustworthy around smaller animals, but if you feel strongly that your big mellow dog would fit in best with small animals and not play rough, please reach out! I’ve had dogs for most of my life and regularly care for pets belonging to friends and local families. I’m comfortable caring for senior dogs, administering medications and accommodating different exercise needs. I also offer drop-in care for cats, chickens and other small pets in their own homes. I work about 10 minutes from home and can usually come home at lunchtime when needed. Dogs get plenty of yard time before and after work, with evenings and weekends available for walks, play and attention. I’m a particularly good fit for dogs that are already comfortable relaxing at home during a normal workday. I can also accommodate midday meals, medications and other care needs. Visiting dogs live with us as part of the family. They’re welcome on the couch or bed and can use the dog door if they’re comfortable with it. My fully fenced, half-acre yard includes a large lawn, orchard, garden and sagebrush-covered hillside with lots of room to run and explore. Chickens are kept separately in an enclosed coop or their own fenced area. I’m directly on the Steamboat Ditch Trail, so walks start right from the house. I’m also happy to take energetic dogs on longer walks, hikes or runs.

I am first aid trained and insured. I spend all of my free time with my own pups and welcoming yours into my days is sure to go seamlessly. Dogs who are crate trained are preferred. I have a fully fenced yard with multiple entry/exits to the home if the need for separation presents itself. I’m fully insured, professionally certified and CPR/First Aid certified.
