“Ron is seriously the best! We have no worries leaving our little guy with him and Lexi. I am so happy Lexi and Otto hit it off. Ron’s house is a dog palace. Our dog ran from the car to the front door, happy to be back. Ron~ Thank you for your care and opening your home to Otto. He was so happy to visit again.”

“Filanthi and her daughter were so loving to my senior dog, Nugget. I appreciate their enthusiasm and attention given to my dog who has limited vision and is hard of hearing. Nugget also enjoyed hanging out with their senior dog which made his stay more comfortable.”
“I recently gave my cat to Ronnie for the evening and couldn’t be happier! He is clearly very experienced with animals and shows so much love and care when he has them. I will definitely be calling him in the future and I reccomend you do too!”

About: Dogs have been part of my daily life for over 10 years, from raising my own to caring for friends’ and family’s pups whenever they travel. I know firsthand how hard it is to leave your dog with just anyone, so I treat every dog in my care the way I’d want mine treated: with patience, attention, and a routine that doesn’t change just because you’re away. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so your dog isn’t alone for long stretches or squeezed into a rushed visit. I’m here, present, and available throughout the day. Daily walks are part of the routine, and I’ll tailor the distance and pace to what’s best for your dog, whether that’s a gentle stroll or a longer outing. I have experience with all sizes and energy levels, from Yorkies to Labs and Huskies, and I’m comfortable administering scheduled medication, treats, and meals on your routine. My home has a fenced yard for safe off-leash time, no other pets or kids to navigate, and dogs are welcome on the furniture because let’s be honest, that’s where they want to be anyway! I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages while your pup is with me, so you can relax knowing they’re happy and well cared for. Work from home and have a flexible schedule. I take walks daily and can cater to the distance and pace of your dogs needs. Available for short term or long term care. No kids or other pets. I have a fenced backyard and lots of parks close by. I take walks daily and happy to take your dog along for the exercise. 🐾
“Aaron and his family were amazing with my puppy. It was my first time boarding her at someone’s home and I was a bit worried, but my dog seemed to really enjoy her stay. I was sent photos of her walking and playing with the kids. Aaron was very communicative, timely in his responses, and kept me updated on how my dog was doing. I would highly recommend them!”

“Gina was very communicative with me and always made sure to send updates and photos. She was very easy to work with and really took the time to understand my dog’s needs. She is an excellent dog sitter and I highly recommend her!”

“Tim was an excellent with Luna. I went on vacation for 12 days and was very responsive when it came to updates and pictures. Luna looked like she had a great time with all of the outdoor adventures Tim took her on. Most definitely a reliable dog sitter.”

“Christine is an excellent pet sitter! She took great care of our 2 yr old puppy and has great communication skills. We felt totally relaxed while we were away, knowing Nala was in such good hands. Thank you again and we will reach out to re-book soon!”

“Emily was absolutely wonderful with my Cavalier Mia! I received daily pictures and I loved that she had a yard for her to play in. Emily was very responsive to messages / communication and I really liked that she had an informative questionnaire for owners to fill out at drop off so she can provide the best experience possible for your pup. I will definitely be booking her again!”

Thank you Laura for a worry free trip! You are amazing!”

“Michael was a great sitter to our cat! He followed the instructions and was good with sending us pictures and making us feel at ease while we were away. We would definitely recommend Michael!”

About: I had a childhood cat, named Midnight for 5 years. I also took care of the other 3 cats in my parent's home. One that was a short-legged cat named Mufasta and gave birth to a litter of kittens that I was also in charge of. There is an old friend who I watched their Maine Coon inside my home for a month. I only had my Ava at the time and had to keep them separated due to the Maine Coon being violent towards other animals and my children. Even though it was rough and suffered deep injuries in my left leg in the end. I stuck through keeping the cat for that entire month because my friend needed time to get a new home situated.
About: I have owned and cared for all types of animals my whole life. 90lb malamute to 7lb chihuahua. Cats, chickens, birds, horses.. i am a friend to all creatures and I would love to care for your pet while you are busy. I love long walks and am not afraid of the weather unless it effects the animal. I currently have an open schedule and am looking forward to making some cash while getting used to the area and waiting for my winter job to start. Safety is my first priority. I prefer harness while walking dogs and try to find routes away from any main or busy roads. I am prepared with dog bags and water for all pups. I enjoy long walks to a patk like area when possible.
“Janet was extremely responsible and so kind to our cat while we were gone for a week. She gave us great updates and pictures so that we didn’t worry one bit about our pet. She always found a way to draw our cat out, even though the cat is very shy. She left everything super clean and well kept. I would recommend Janet to anyone!”

“This is the 2nd time sassy has help out with my dogs and she was amazing. She updated me with how everything was going with them as well and sent pictures. I’ll definitely be using her again.”

“Joan was great! My cat doesn’t really like other people so I was worried how she’d do with a stranger checking on her. My cat warmed up quickly to her and we loved getting a picture with every visit. Thank you Joan!”

“Ronnie was a great host for my cat for a last minute 2-week stay! He was well taken care of and Ronnie sent me update photos and videos. Thanks so much Ronnie!”

About: I grew up with cats and was responsible for taking care of their needs growing up. I currently have two cats of my own who are very spoiled, and have watched cats for several friends over the past few years when they need to get out of town. I understand how to match a cats energy, whether it is a hyper kitty or an elderly cat that needs a calm approach.
“Our babies are hard to get to know without us there to coax a relationship with a new person, usually very food based and time consuming.? Somehow, Sierra managed to get our antisocial old man to come and greet her beyond the food bowl run, who is usually worse for the wear when someone else is caring for him!? She cared for a few plants and they looked better than I when I had left, and the kitties...most importantly, seemed quite content on our arrival despite only having every other day visits! We looked forward to staying up and looking at all the cute updates she gave us on their wellbeing? We really appreciated the fact that she wouldn't charge us more for having 2 cats, as they are very easy to care for. Most Rover sitters do this and it just seems unnecessary with cats, although we were fine with paying whatever needed to make sure they were happy. Bird feeder was empty coming home but we even had a hard time keeping up with refill due to the fires at the time, wildlife was pretty hungry, and I suspect they just emptied it before we came!? She cared for plants, outside birds for cat TV, and our cats for one flat rate! Even being concerned we may be stuck longer in FL due to Hurricane Ian's arrival, we were never less worried about the care of our babies on a trip! They were happy, loved on, and needs were met...which is sad to say but sometimes isn't the case having a friend/family member and even a Rover sitter in MI who had cared for them in our stead. (<-she did fine but no connection was made with our babies and only bare basics were handled) This is the first vacation that my husband and I truly felt that we could relax and know our little family back home was doing well, and were able to enjoy the little bit of fleeting time spent with family for the year.? We're new to the area, so finding a sitter who makes it possible and relaxing to go away for even a few days is the biggest godsend? We will definitely be booking her each and every time we have to leave our two fur babies at home.? Thank you for a relaxing time away, Sierra!!”
About: I have had dogs in my house since before I was born and have never gone a day with out dogs living at home. I love to take my own two dogs on walks and would love to help out others that don’t have the time or ability to take their own out on walks all the time. I currently have my two dogs, two cats and a little zoo made up of different types of pets. I typically work early mornings and I am off by noon most days so a quick afternoon walk is ideal for me. My services are available almost everyday from noon to five in the afternoon. Since I have so many of my own pets I prefer to pet sit at the clients house. I mainly offer dog walking but for any quick day trip over overnighter I am able to stop by to care for your pet and meet their needs.

About: I’ve taken care of cats for many years, including helping with family pets since I was younger. I understand that every cat has their own personality, and I’m very patient and respectful of their space. I’m comfortable with feeding, cleaning litter boxes, playtime, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I treat every cat like my own and make sure they get the care and attention they need.

About: Besides having my own cats, I have cared for neighbors and friends cats since I was 12 years old. My own kitty is 18 years old now, requiring daily medication, baths, and health checks. I am no stranger to shy, timid kitties! But of course I would never deny a cuddle bug.
“Our dogs always love their visits from Shelby. We have weekly drop in visits and she has taken care of our dogs while we are out of town. She’s great at communicating and providing updates and pictures. I love knowing our dogs are with someone who cares about them just as much as me. I would highly recommend her!!!”

“If your dog likes adventure, Tim’s your guy. If your dog likes to be chill and mellow like Jello-O, Tim’s your guy. If your dog can’t stop, won’t stop, Tim’s your guy. If your dog is judgy of humans (seriously, they can sniff the bad ones!), Tim’s your guy! My three puppers of varying preferences and personalities—including my separation-anxiety-suffering barky-bark—LOVE daycare with Tim! He’s all about the dogs… Yours, mine, ALL THE DOGS. At larger daycare/boarding facilities, my boys are super anxious when I leave them (exacerbating my own anxiety for leaving them), and then take a few days to bounce back after I get them home. With Tim, they’re eager to bound in for fun and good company, and come back home happy and tails-a-waggin’. I know they’re safe and with an experienced handler of multiple dogs. 10/10 recommend, two paws up!”

“Samantha is great! Good communication, replies quickly, and is very friendly. My one year old dog is shy at first but Samantha worked hard to help her feel comfortable. The second time I dropped my dog off, she was so excited to go in to see Samantha. I felt comfortable knowing that my dog was well taken care of and enjoying her time at Samantha's house.”

“Danielle was amazing! She was very well prepared, with a water bowl, a great yard, and lots of dog toys. Great communication. Seemed like my pup had an excellent experience. I will definitely rebook with Danielle!”

“Bri & Lyle are the best! Our 2 yr old aussiedoodle had a great time with their family. Bri is great to communicate with and our dog was happy and safe. Thank you!”

“Shawna has been amazing with our 14 week old puppy Bridges. He always comes home completely pooped and I can tell he feels very comfortable around her family and house. Would 100% recommend!”

“Nikki was absolutely wonderful with our dogs, Enero and Angelina! From the moment we met her, it was clear she genuinely loves animals and treats them like family. While we were away, she kept us updated with plenty of photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. It wasn't just that she was doing her job—it was obvious from the way she interacted with them that she truly cared about their happiness, comfort, and well-being. Both dogs looked relaxed, happy, and well-loved in every update. Nikki went above and beyond to make sure they were cared for, and we could tell they enjoyed their time with her. We highly recommend Nikki to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and attentive pet sitter. We would gladly have her watch Enero and Angelina again!”

“My dog was happy when I picked him up. He was well fed and taken care of. I can tell when my dog has a good time at a sitters home and my dog definitely had a good time. I will rebook again :)”

About: Hi! I’m Justin, your friendly neighborhood dog whisperer. I’ve been caring for dogs for over 20 years, ever since I was a teenager. Whether it’s seniors, puppies, nervous dogs, or the little quirky ones with big personalities, animals naturally gravitate toward me. I truly believe dogs can feel energy, and they always seem to feel safe and understood around me. I’m a full-time remote worker with a calm, grounding home environment, and I treat every pup who stays with me like they’re part of my family. My own dogs, Peaches and Cosmo, are used to having friends over and do great with small dogs who have good manners. I understand dog body language deeply and I know how to create a safe, low-stress environment for every pup. What you can expect with me: • Constant supervision & love • A secure home with a fenced yard • Playtime and enrichment • Separate feeding areas if needed • Safe introductions and lots of patience • Photos, videos, and updates throughout the day • A sitter who genuinely loves dogs and has done this all his life I’m experienced with: ✔ small/delicate dogs ✔ anxious dogs ✔ senior dogs ✔ special diets ✔ meds (non-injection) ✔ rescue pups ✔ multi-dog households If you want someone who will give your dog the same love, attention, and protection they get at home, I’m your person. Your dog’s happiness, safety, and comfort always come first, and I promise to treat them like my own. I can’t wait to meet your pup! 🐶💛 Pet care is built into my lifestyle. I work from home full-time, so I’m able to give the dogs consistent attention, supervision, and love throughout the entire day. 🕒 A Typical Day Looks Like This: • Morning: I start the day with potty breaks and a relaxing neighborhood walk to help everyone get their energy out. Dogs get breakfast afterward in separate feeding areas to keep mealtimes peaceful. • Midday: I’m home working, so dogs can nap near me, chew on enrichment toys, or enjoy supervised backyard breaks. I check in with them frequently and give cuddles or playtime based on their needs. • Afternoon: Another walk or potty break, depending on your dog’s routine. I make sure everyone gets movement, attention, and reassurance throughout the day. • Evening: Dinner time (again fed separately), followed by more relaxation, play, or quiet cuddles on the couch. I’m very sensitive to each dog’s preferences — some want to play, some want to chill. 🏠 My Home Is Calm, Safe, and Always Supervised Because I’m home all day, your pup is never left alone for long periods, and I can monitor how well they’re adjusting. I only accept small dogs, which keeps the energy manageable for everyone — including my two dogs, Peaches and Cosmo. When your dog stays with me, they become part of my little family. I’ve been caring for dogs for over 20 years, and I take their comfort, safety, and happiness seriously. Here’s exactly what you can expect when your pup stays in my home: 🏠 A Calm, Safe Home Environment My home is clean, peaceful, and set up specifically for dogs. I work remotely, so I’m home most of the day and able to give your pup lots of attention, structure, and supervision. I only host small dogs, which keeps the energy gentle and reduces stress during introductions. 🐶 Thoughtful, Stress-Free Introductions I introduce your dog to my two small dogs, Peaches and Cosmo, slowly and safely, usually outdoors first. I’m skilled in reading dog body language, so I ensure everyone feels comfortable before letting them interact freely inside.
“Destiny is an outstanding sitter. This was our pup’s first time staying with someone new. Destiny showed us around her home and described a typical day with her. She also let me know what I would need to bring to keep my pup comfortable. She sent photos which were great to see.”

“Sarah was awesome! Took a last minute booking, had to drop off early, perfectly accommodating! Took great care of my little Peanut and left me feeling very comfortable with who was taking care of my pup!”

I want to use my knowledge from working at the clinic to help you and your pets.

About: Hi, I go by Ashton. I began working with dogs in a professional setting in 2011 in Anchorage Alaska. I received my Certificate to be a Professional Dog Trainer through Animal Behavior College and immediately began working along side seasoned obedience, behavior modification and agility trainers. After some time I was able to begin mentoring new trainers in basic obedience, teaching them how to run puppy and adult basic obedience group classes. Though my profession career began in 2011, my passion for working with dogs truly started many years before that, here in Reno,NV, when I adopted a Chow Chow named Leo. I was just a teenager and Leo had come with several severe behavioral issues. He was both human and dog aggressive, destructive, not house broken, had sever separation anxiety, ran aware regularly and was leash reactive. Despite being uneducated in dog behavior at the time, I began to do my own research and was dedicated to teaching Leo how to feel safe, happy and confident so that he would overcome his many barriers. We walked every day and I tirelessly worked toward socializing him. When I moved to Alaska, I took Leo with me, he became my practice dog and we learned dog behavior together! In no time, he was attending puppy class with me, rolling on the floor letting puppies jump all over him. He was going on walks with other leash reactive dogs, HE was the calm presence that helped other dogs see that it was all okay. Leo learned to love people and other animals, he learn to trust and because of him and everything he overcame, my heart was set on making that difference in as many lives as I possibly could. In 2024, as a single parent, I made the difficult choice to "retire" from dog training to focus on feeding other passions and traveling with my daughter. During that time I have continued to have a lovely time with my own dogs and the dogs of close family members, but I am starting to feel the ache of wanting to help again. I have decided to offer limited services related to dog walking, drop in visits, play dates, nail trims and limited bathing/grooming. (Oh, did I mention I used to be a dog foster parent, groomer and kennel tech alongside my training?) I have outline my services in more detail below; however, feel free to reach out with any questions if you don't see what you are looking for! I look forward to hearing from you :) I am offering evening walks Monday - Friday, drop in visits and extended walks on Saturdays and Sundays. Dog Daycare is available for limited hours on Sundays and will be accepted on a case by case basis. Loose leash walking training can be provided in conjunction with walks at an additional cost. Please message for details. All dogs are required to be collared with identification for walks. I will request a microchip number if they have been chipped in the event of an emergency. For your dogs safety and mine: If your dog is an extreme puller, I may request to be allowed to use tools such as an easy walk harness and sort lead. If I do not have your dogs size, I may request you purchase one.

“Tim was an excellent with Luna. I went on vacation for 12 days and was very responsive when it came to updates and pictures. Luna looked like she had a great time with all of the outdoor adventures Tim took her on. Most definitely a reliable dog sitter.”

“My three dogs were well taken care of if not spoiled during their week stay. My blind Chiweenie puppy fell in love with Lauren! The feeling was mutual. You cannot ask for more than that! I would recommend boarding or sitting your dog(s) with Lauren. ❤️❤️❤️”

“Christine is an excellent pet sitter! She took great care of our 2 yr old puppy and has great communication skills. We felt totally relaxed while we were away, knowing Nala was in such good hands. Thank you again and we will reach out to re-book soon!”

“Hands down the best rover experience I’ve had. Shannon and David were communicative (twice daily updates and pictures, I didn’t need to check in) and gave me a peace of mind I sincerely appreciated. Plus they were just kind people in general. Definitely recommend and would use again!”

Currently, I teach Puppy classes, Obedience 101, and Rally at the Truckee Meadows Dog Training Club, I am an emergency foster for bottle puppies/kittens for the Humane Society, and I am home almost all the time. I have many years of experience with dogs, cats, and livestock animals. I am also capable of caring for birds, fish, and reptiles. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats who are so very loved and spoiled. I let my own dogs out every 2-4 hours and take them on 2 walks a day while its cooler outside. At this time, I am flexible with what works best for you.
“My Cherry is super shy and has some special requirements and Sarah was so accommodating! She treated her as part of the family. Also, she is very quick to respond to all messages :). I definitely recommend having your pup stay with Sarah and will be repeat customer!”

“Dani was very kind to us and our older pup. She took him last minute and treated him like a king! He slept in her bed and was allowed on the furniture. She has a big backyard that he loved. He came home exactly how we left him - calm and happy. We will absolutely be working with Dani again. 🐾♥️”

“Susan and her family were incredible! We have never left our boys with anyone who isn't family, but Susan took care of them as if they were. If you are looking for some place for your dogs to get plenty of love and attention while you are away, I absolutely recommend Susan! We have already booked our next stay with her.”
