About: Greetings. I’ve had a best friend who was with me everyday for 15 years. I was with her from the beginning to the end. I am sensitive to the needs of our dogs and always very aware of our surroundings. I’m ultra aware of the cayotes up here and all their tricks. With the new smells and distractions for some dogs that are not from here I always feel safer to keep them on leash during our walks. I live alone in a quiet cabin on a quiet street, no traffic and no neighbors. Big fenced back yard and a small gated front porch. I know all the trails in Sierra track as well as the whole area. I’m very flexible and will take care of all the little things that are needed and the unexpected ones that pop up. I know how stressfull it can be traveling and then leaving your best friend with someone. I will communicate with you and make it easy and stress free. It’s a big adjustment not having my sweet girl Francis. I was so used to waking up and she was there, or coming home and she was sitting in my spot waiting for me. Honestly this is good for me having a dog around. It’s helping with this process I’m going through. I am very flexible and available almost anytime and on short notice if life happens. I know how that goes. I know the trails and areas to go that are safe and fun. Im an early riser, and I enjoy mornings walks when it’s nice and quiet with no traffic or crowds of people. I have no problem with taking the pup with me in the car to run a quick errand or even better a day trip somewhere. Some dogs love car rides with the window down and nose out. And some do not. It’s all optional, absolutely no problems leaving him or her at home while I’m out for a sec. I primarily work from home and would be with him/her almost all the time. My dog Francis was a little attached. Maybe loyal is a better word. I was very lucky with her and didn’t have to worry too much. But I learned to never ever let anything happen to her. Very aware of our environment. Cars, other dogs, cayotes, bees , bodies of water and all weather conditions, hot pavement and even to always avoid the drains/grates in the roads ect. I’m not disactred by my phone or anything else. I’ll only feed what the owner approves.
About: I’ve been taking care of cats for a long long time! If you have any extra animals, i’m good with any kind! If you have plants tha need watering, i’m a plant lady so i’ll be sure to take good care of those too! Let me know if you need help! I’m also a babysitter/preschool teacher if you need childcare.

About: I have had dogs 🐕 n my life since a child either my own or cared for my friends dogs. They will always be a necessary part of my life. I recently had to send my beautiful golden retriever to the Rainbow Bridge after 13 1/2 years. My schedule is flexible as I work on call part time. If I’m away from my home it’s never very long. I’m a Notary Signing Agent as well. I live alone in a single family home with a fenced yard and a doggie door. My routine is taking walks in the morning usually after breakfast.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life- from cats and dogs, to hedgehogs and birds. My cat had kittens when I was in 2nd grade and since then I have loved all aspects of pet care and find it extremely rewarding. I am comfortable with dog walking, and any activity with pets of all ages. As an owner of pets myself, I know what makes a happy pet and am available for walks or sitting! About: I’ve had dogs of my own since I was less than 10 years old, and have had my current dog Sandy for about 6 years. I have a lot of experience with dogs of all kinds- puppies to seniors, healthy to serious health concerns, I’ve done it all! I am a work from home teacher, so even during the weekday I am home for the majority of the day. My dog Sandy and I usually spend the day playing in the backyard, relaxing on the couch, or playing with her toys. My work schedule is not demanding, and I have summers off, so I have all the time to spend with your pups. I live in a 2 story duplex with just myself, my 10 year old friendly dog Sandy, and my fiance Austin (who also loves dogs!). The backyard is fenced and is shared by the other family in the duplex. Sandy usually roams free in the home, but we can crate in the home if necessary.

About: Aside from having pets all my life, I worked in a vet office as a Registered Vet Tech for 8 years until deciding to be a stay at home mom with my two children. We currently have two dogs of our own that are very social and friendly “Betty” the lab and “June” the Boston/Pug. We are stay at home, homeschooling family that will be able to offer your pet lots of love, kindness, play time, and snuggles. All pets will be given a predictable routine and walks if desired. Since I’m a stay at home mom, I am always there to care for your pets. They will be given potty breaks at a minimum of every 2 hours. I have a fenced yard, lots of green grass and shade to stretch those legs and burn energy. My two playful dogs love the company and are always willing to make new friends. For cats, I do prefer to kennel them but they will have lots of opportunities to come out for play and affection. I feel this is the safest option for them. All pets are kept indoors except for play and potty time (cats are always kept indoors).

About: I grew up in a rural area of Southern California and had animals my entire life. From rabbits to chickens, cats, dogs and livestock we had them all. I rescued my dog Molly about 12 years ago and she's my partner in crime. I am a personal trainer and highly active, outdoorsy person. Molly is a boston terrier mix and requires at least an hour of exercise each day. You'll see me walking, running or biking Molly along our local trails everyday and your dog can join us! If your dog requires substantial exercise we're the sitters for you. Because I work only several hours at a time as a personal trainer, I am in and out of the house often during the weekdays, so if you're looking for an alternate to doggie daycare while you're at work we could be a great fit. I strongly believe in the pack leader philosophy on dog behavior, and that lack of exercise is the number one cause of unwanted behavior. Your dog will get plenty of love and exercise here! I am happy to help with basic obedience (loose leash walking, thresholds, recall, sit, stay and place) I’m an RN but I only take new dogs when I’m not working at the hospital so I can be with them all day long. Safety is our number one priority. We always introduce dogs on neutral territory with a structured walk, and supervise all play time. We have a fenced backyard and can separate with crates/kennels if needed.

Melissa has a very large fenced-in yard which was a plus in our book, but also took advantage of her location by taking our dog on walks in beautiful natural areas. We missed our dog, but the daily updates and photos meant we didn't worry about her. I would recommend Melissa to anyone who needs boarding in the area.”
About: I am a dog mommy of a medium 14 year old pit mix, Roxy. I love all dogs and have family with everything from a Chihuahua (with no teeth) to a dopey Great Dane named after prince George. I have babysat all of their dogs and love to play outside with them. I like to run and hike with my dogs and we like to be silly together. She is getting older (14 years old) so she is not as active as she once was. I'm an educator, so my own pup is used to me being gone during the day, but because of holidays and summers I'm also free frequently. My own dog in the past struggled with stubborness and reactivity, so I know how to work with stubborn dogs and easy going dogs of all sorts. I have also worked with geriatric dogs and know what a struggle it can be when dogs are getting into old age. As an educator I work Monday through Friday (most weeks) during the day, and am home evenings, but have extensive availability weekends and holidays. My schedule can be somewhat flexible I am available to come to your home if your dog needs some company or can have your pup at my place. I also have transportation for taking your pet to the beach, river, or parks. I am happy to run, walk, or just hang out with your pets.
“Jennifer and her boyfriend, Jack, were great hosts for our dog Brody while we were skiing in town for a couple days! They were both super nice and genuine, very accommodating with a last minute daycare request, and were flexible with our schedule which was super helpful! They both asked questions the drop off, sent us a ton of pictures throughout the day, and overall made us feel very comfortable with having our dog there with them! I would absolutely recommend and we will use them again when we are in the area!”
