“Samantha did a great job house sitting and taking care of our diabetic cat. Big Fat Cat is insulin dependent and normally requires two blood sugar checks and two insulin shot per day. That's on top the seizure and appetite stimulant pills he takes. This was the first time we've used Samantha and Rover and we'd definitely use Samantha again. She was very responsive and sent photos and updates on a regular basis. We would recommend her to anyone who needs a housesitter and especially to anyone whose pet has special medical needs.”

About: I’ve taken care of animals dogs and cats since little around 10 years old for my neighbors/parents friends/ family’s and referrals. They have relied on me to feed, walk, bathe, stick to schedules and love their fur babies as if they were my own. I have trained all my dogs and family members dog basic commands while also introducing new animals to each other. I have worked with puppy’s adult dogs even prior abused dogs that need a little bit more patience and care. I care for these animals as if they were mine to make sure they get the most love and attention. I’m currently working from home with my own schedule, I’m available every day of the week for boarding, drop ins, walks or whatever your needs may be! I live in a town home with my husband no kids we have a gated community with a gated court yard out front but would be going on walks with three dog parks in the community for off leash play time. If coming to your home I will follow whatever instructions are given to me to care for your animals and respect your home as much as I would for mine. I would keep my two dogs separate from yours unless advised otherwise! Kennels are welcome if needed but we have plenty of toys and enrichment toys to keep them busy!

It is covered partially with artificial turf, wooden block floors, cemented floors and gravel stones. * After end of each stay, all used guest doggie bed covers, blankets and toys washed and Home steam cleaned. * When out on walks or at the park, we stay fully alert to both your pup and our surroundings. We will avoid interactions with other dogs by rerouting if necessary. I monitor to make sure your pup doesn’t eat or lick anything off the ground, and will wipe their paws as needed.

About: I had a dachshund for 16 years from my early childhood to adulthood so I understand now important are dogs and cats are to us as they are family to us but I have been taking care of dogs for around 15 years since most of my family members have had dogs or cats all varying form 100 pound Great Danes to little dachshunds so overall I understand what it takes to take care of these family members and what to look out for I am currently in online college and work part time usually I work 4-6 hour shifts so outside of that I’m able to watch after your loving pets and make sure they are fine and having a wonderful time! About: I’ve cared for pets through Rover in the past during my undergrad years and continued to pet sit occasionally while living on the East Coast. Spending time with animals has always been something I truly enjoy, and I’ve missed having pets around. Now that I’m back home with family and working from home full-time, I have the flexibility and availability to provide attentive, loving care. I recently decided to rejoin Rover because I genuinely miss caring for pets and want to offer pet parents peace of mind knowing their fur babies are with someone calm, caring, and reliable while they’re away. Pet care fits really naturally into my daily routine since I work from home. I’m able to plan my day around walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins, rather than squeezing them in before or after work. Being home most of the day allows me to give pets consistent attention, follow their routines closely, and respond to their needs as they come up. I follow and respect all care instructions provided and any household guidelines. I do my best to make sure pets get enough attention while also respecting their space and personality. About: I've had small dogs growing up. I've had cats for 10 years. I volunteer at Homeward Bound Cat Adoption. I socialize with the cats so I can help them find their forever home. I volunteer three days a week and I own my own business. Both are flexible, I can set my own schedule to accommodate your needs. I will take care of your pets however you do. If you need dog walking, play time, lap time. When I volunteer, I like reading to the cats so if your pets need any kind of conversation, I am there. I'm learning how to bottle feed, where I volunteer, so if you need that, I can do that as well. Meds we can discuss.
About: 4+ Years of Animal experience . I remember getting my first dog around 15/16 and fell in love , he was a siberian husky ! I would pet sit all the time as a personal assistant and would watch their adorable Pomeranians! I now own an American short hair cat but I have always loved all kinds of animals and truly enjoy their company ! Pets really warm up to me and I don’t fear any kind of pet ! Even the hyper ones haha. God’s creation is beautiful! My schedule is flexible so I can try to accommodate many people . Sundays I have church at 4 so i am available in the morning time! My cat is my family , I like my pets to feel peaceful and I also let him outside on the patio to get air but he is not an outdoor cat at all. He has cushy spots around the house and I have taught him to sit ! When i was taking care of the pomeranians I would feed them their farmers dog food at the same time everyday and they were very active dogs that required a lot of love and attention ! About: I've been surrounded with animals since I was a kid. We've had chickens, pigs, dogs, and cats. My family would have multiple dogs at a time with different breeds and sizes. All throughout my life, I've experienced having a doberman, a rottie, a ween, couple japanese spitz, pekingese, chihuahuas, numbers of poodles, and lovely mutts. I'm lucky enough to experience dog birth as well as taking care of the momma dog and the pups. With this, Ive6 had experience in puppy training as well as senior dog caring. As of the moment, my bf and I have a 5y.o. GSD at home. I work on weekdays, mid shift and with this, I am able to walk your babies in the morning. Weekend wise, I'm pretty much flexible. 💖 I love walking my (well technically it's my bf's) GSD and so walking your fur babies will not be a problem for me. I'll make sure to take care of them before, during and after the walk.💖

“This was our first time using Rover and leaving our 7 month old Golden Retriever puppy. Amie was very sweet and personable when we first met, and you can really see her sincere love of dogs. Our puppy also got along great with her 3 year old lab, so that was a nice bonus knowing she would have a daily playmate.
