About: I have been the luckiest dog mom to two of the sweetest and most special Frenchies for almost 12 years. Sadly, they both moved on within 3 weeks of each other and I need to watch yours now :) If you are reading this and you have a Frenchie, you know that they have very specific needs as compared to other dogs. They're barely dogs. I will go out of my way to do all of the crazy things that you are afraid to ask a dog sitter to do including but not limited to: carrying them up and down stairs and on/off furniture. Ensuring that a mountain lion or hawk doesn't pick them off with constant supervision in my fully-fenced yard. Letting them sleep and snuggle on the couch and in the bed. Giving them some insane-to-understand food preparation because that's "just how they like it." Keeping their snout smooth, ears and wrinkles cleaned, and tush tidy. Ensuring that they don't overheat or drown. These are legitimately all of the fears that I had and I could never find a consistent trusted dog sitter so I often could not leave my pups. Let me help you! My husband and I work from home and want a little Frenchie buddy to play with during the day. We're not ready to own another at the moment but are happy to provide top notch care to your friend. Your pups will always be supervised in the backyard. We have a dog door but our Frenchies were never taught to use it because of the risk of a wildlife encounter without our supervision. They will be monitored to ensure that they don't hurt their backs (carrying up/down stairs and on/off furniture. No toys will be left out if they are left alone to minimize any hazards. If there is an emergency we have had to deal with seizures in the past and know the protocol. We are happy to bring them to the vet if we feel it's necessary.

With lots of opportunity for yard time inside my 6-ft fenced in yard. We are located in a scenic and peaceful neighborhood in Aspen springs, approximately 6 mi west of Pagosa springs. Your dog will be able to run and play as much as it wants (supervised, of course) on my fenced in one and a half acre property. I was given my first doggie duties at the age of 5, and other than when I was in the military, dogs have always been a part of my life. I currently have 2 dogs, one is a german shepherd/catahoula mix at about 2 yrs. old (still an active and playful pup) and the other is a husky/lab mix at about 12 yrs. old. both have lots of experience with other dogs. I don't spend much time away from the property these days. I do however have a part-time job in town that will keep me away from the house for about 4 to 6 hours and it's no problem taking an extended break if dogs need attention. You can be assured that when I'm away your pups will be safe, secure and comfortable. With plenty of space to stretch out in my three bedroom home. I live on just over an acre, in a nice qiuet country setting. The property is completely fenced in and gated with lots of trees and bushes there's also an "inner" yard surrounded by a 6ft cedar fence coming off the back porch of the house.

About: I’ve taken care of almost all kinds of animals since I was very young and I adore all pets and understand the necessity of pet sitters. I have done foster care for puppies, kittens, and special care senior animals alike. I’m a quick learner and dedicated to the absolute best for your pet. I’m also new to this app and am happy to negotiate on prices! My schedule can revolve entirely around your pet! I’m currently on summer break from my online college degree and am able to work flexibly depending on your needs. My only obligations are to take care of my own animals in the morning, evening, and midday. Which often is a quick routine and can be taken over by a loved one if necessary! I have an unfenced yard and hiking trail for walking dogs directly behind my apartment, I’m also close to a large field for stimulation if they need more activity and love going on hikes as well. I have 2 very friendly spayed female dogs and a spayed female cat, all of which love other animals. I have a crates for either my own animals or yours in a safe space. Pets are allowed on furniture and bed in my apartment.

During the week I work in an office downtown full time. I have a flexible work schedule if i need to make a lunch stop! Otherwise available before and after work and on the weekends! I make sure the home stays tidy and clean so pets don't get into anything they shouldn't. If i'm just taking them on walks, I make sure to know how they interact with other dogs and animals. Having a dog myself, it's ideal for me to watch your dog at my house that has a huge fenced in yard if your dog is friendly with other dogs. But i am flexible to stay at your place as well!
