About: I have been taking care of my own dog and my friends' dogs for many years. I currently do not have a pet so I have lots of love to give to yours. I have experience will all sorts of dogs, large and small and in fact, cared for a 110 lb dog with physical disabilities for 13 years. Dogs staying in my home should be trained to stay off furniture. I was attacked by a Pit Bull and needed plastic surgery on my leg. For this reason, please understand that I will not care for dogs of this breed or any mix of the breed. I work from a home office and have plenty of time to play with your pup. I can stay at your house or bring your pup to mine. I do not invite dogs on the furniture in my house. The only other rule I have is to be happy. I have a yard that is partially fenced. Therefore, any pup staying with me will never be left alone outside. I live across the street from the university and any well socialized dog staying with me will enjoy going on walks and visiting with all the other dogs in the neighborhood.

About: Your dog will get lots of love from me and become part of the family. My home is large enough to accommodate your crate if you want to bring it. And there's a large fenced yard with lots to explore. My boy Riley likes to play and hang with most other dogs but our dogs should meet each other first to ensure a great dog sitting experience. Because of doing a meet and greet I need at least 2 days prior notice for care requests. I've watched friends' dogs and had my own since 1997. If your dog has special needs please let me know. I'm retired and home a lot. Your dogs will get lots of attention from me throughout the day. If I leave home without them I'm usually gone for an hour or so and the longest I would leave would be 3 hours or so. I have a large fenced yard and a dog door. I am attentive to each dog's particular needs and will be aware of what they are up to.

About: I have been around cats ever since I can remember. I have experience bottle feeding newborn kittens, and have a lot of knowledge regarding their behavior and enrichment needs. We have a fenced yard for your fur baby to play in and and a spayed mix Pitbull (Luna) to keep your fur baby company. I have 2 kids between the ages of 15 and 16, who are animal lovers as well and are excited to welcome your pet into our home. Whether your pet would prefer to be a couch potato and relax with soft belly rubs or would like to run, romp, and play fetch, we are skilled to offer them a memorable experience.

About: I am new to Silver City, I am on the board of a Houston based cat rescue, ROSES. I have experience with special needs animals, senior care, and medical care. I’ve always had animals and been around them, and working with rescues my life revolves around animals. I have experience with animals of all shapes and sizes, dogs, cats, small animals, reptiles. I am a current foster and mom to 3 Kitties. I am a full-time student, so I have a very flexible schedule. I currently do not work so I am available just about everyday of the week. I follow the animal’s schedule that is set for me. I am up early so I can feed and walk starting as early as 8am. I am available throughout the day so your pets won’t have to spend much time alone while you are away.

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 8 years old. I was primarily surrounded by cats, and learned how to care for them from birth until they found their forever homes. I have also been pet sitting and house sitting in Silver City for several years, watching both cats and dogs (and even some tortoises!) for friends, family, and community members. As a cat owner and dog lover, I understand the importance of quality care and compassion that our fur babies require. I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Biology and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). I only take 1-2 classes a semester, and am trying to pay for my education out of pocket. Pet care can and has easily fit into my class schedule, and working more often with local folks is something I have been wanting to do for years. I love Silver City and the animals that live here, and I would love to help with animal care here since I see how much folks love their fur babies. I live downtown in a busy area, and it has provided endless enrichment for my baby kitty cat. I live nearby multiple parks and walkable areas that I can take your puppy for some exercise. When I am in a clients home, I follow their instructions for their baby, since each one is different and have their own personalities.
