Any time any day I’m here for your animals. Potty breaks don’t stop on weekends and companionship isn’t suspended because of arbitrary work weeks. You need help, I got your fur baby covered. I have established safety protocols for all animals in my car, including but not limited to fenced in yards, puppy proofing living spaces, and creating calming no trap zones for animals. Because I know how stressed they can be coming into a new space. For cats I have invested in feliway to calm nerves and anxiety, and for dogs I have lavender diffuser for calming as well as ample play time.

When I moved to Utah, by myself, in January 2023, I got lonely and craved animal connection, so I began with Rover. It has been such a great thing in my life. I hope to continue my services in New Mexico. I now have 2 pups of my own, but my partner cares for them when I am sitting. I will never bring them to a sit unless prior meeting and permission of the owners. Bloopers and Scub are young, big, lover boys with a lot of energy. They LOVE other dogs. Sophie, my senior pup, had to be put down before I moved to Utah. I cared for her heart and kidney failure for 3 years. I am experienced with senior pups and can handle all the way down to puppies, too. I love cats. I am also a trained bird handler. I have pet sit for my professors and coworkers before, from hunting lab puppies to senior Maltese. Since moving to Utah at the beginning of the year, I have house sat, done drop-ins, and walks. I have house sat for all kinds of pups from labs to yorkies, goldendoodles to bulldogs. I work a very flexible full-time, telework option, job. I can check/walk in morning, lunch, dinner and through the night if needed. Week days and weekends. I have extensive experience giving pets drugs and other heath needs. I can do any form of exercise or travel needed. I will always double check doors are locked and secured.

About: I grew up in a household with cats, dogs, small mammals, exotic and domestic birds, reptiles, and fish. I have experience as both a short and long term pet/house sitter. A large portion of my life has been spent working at pet stores, aquariums, wildlife rehabilitation facilities and with animal trainers so I have good background knowledge surrounding a large variety of animal care. By trade I am a biologist with a focus in the marine sciences. As a full-time field biologist, the field part of my job doesn’t allow me time to have pets of my own. So between field jobs I greatly enjoy the opportunity to pet sit since I have lots of time to dedicate to your pet! I feel that pet sitting is a great way to get some animal time in while also helping out. I am very attentive, caring, trustworthy, and dedicated. Every home has a routine and flow all its own, one of the most important things a sitter can do is maintain that rythem while the pet parent is away, and give lots of extra love too. I make it my goal to give your pets a stay-cation while you vacation or work! I have worked with dogs and cats of all ages, and also small animals, birds, and barn animals. I am especially good with elder pets and am familiar with their mobility and medication requirements. I currently dog-walk and pet-sit full time so I’ll be able to provide lots of care and attention during the day/evenings. I usually only leave the pets for a few hours at a time and can adjust this to fit your schedule. I usually do not care for pets in my home.
