I am very patient and will love your doggo like he/she was my own Work from home sitter, your dog will never be alone. Large breed experience and lots of Love to give 😊 Very experienced in giving meds if needed I have 2 friendly dogs to keep yours company. Socializing is very important and also physical activity. Dogs are taken on walks daily and we would love yours to join us. I also have 2 large orthopedic dog beds to Keep your pets nice and comfy during their stay 😊

About: Self-identified nature and animal lover, in transition from attorney to chaplaincy and mindfulness meditation teacher. I have cared for dogs for over 20 years, from zoomie puppies to slow-moving seniors. I am comfortable administering medication and feeding whatever combo of kibble+/-wet food your pup enjoys. Belly rubs and nature walks are always on offer. All are welcome here. I am home full-time and am able to supervise, care for and play with the dogs throughout the day. We begin each morning with an early one to five mile hike depending on energy levels and weather. The remainder of the day is free time to play, nap, repeat. Meals are usually at 8am and 4pm. In our home: Your dog will have free range of our entire home and fully-fenced acre with access to fresh drinking water at all times. There are several dog beds and toys around the house. Our resident pup Poppy is happy to share! Note: My doggie day care rate covers up to six daytime hours (between 8am - 6pm). We can add more time (starting at +$20) so you don't have to rush doing fun human-only activities. Special requests are always welcome.

About: Cats are the easiest of all, probably because they're so smart. I tend to enjoy cat sitting the most, so most requests for cats are easily approved!

“Adelita was incredible. Our puppy absolutely adored her right from the start, and came back a happy boy. She went above and beyond, took him to the park, and let him play with her dogs at home. She worked on training with him and gave him treats to reward him. She was willing to pick our puppy up and drop him back off with us, making our plans for the day so much easier. She also took the sweetest pictures of our puppy so we could see how his day went. Highly recommend!!!!”

About: Let your pet stay at my quiet house on the mesa (quick drive to the rio grande gorge trails and tons of hiking trails in my neighborhood!) in El Prado! I have a spacious fenced in yard and am conveniently located between the ski valley and downtown Taos...your pet will have a blast with me! Walks or runs around mesa trails, lots of cuddles and time to explore outdoors, and a yard to roam! I have spent most of my life around dogs -- ranging from labradors to miniature pinschers. I would love to take care of your fur baby while you're out of town or if you need an extra hand during the work week or weekend. If you have any questions, please let me know! Thank you! I’m available for dog walking (or running!) as well. I work part time close to home so I have plenty of time to play with your fur baby, spoil them with extra long walks, and give them plenty of cuddles! I do long dog walks on the mesa in my neighborhood’s extensive trail system and can run/walk dogs depending on their energy levels and needs! My yard is fenced in and there’s plenty of room to roam! I have one dog (a 10 year old american eskimo) who is incredibly sweet and calm. He is very friendly and happy to have company as long as your dog is friendly! We welcome your fur baby into our home and will treat them like family!

About: I work on my laptop or phone, and can travel with it, and thus would be mostly at home with your animals. I lost my own dog in recent years, and find that I do best when I have dogs and cats to look after. I love being interrupted by a dog asking for attention and play! Walking is a joy for me. My work is portable on my laptop, so as long as I can have a perch to work at, I can be present for animals in the spaces they are accustomed to having company in. I do house visits, walking, and home stays. I enjoy staying overnight with animals because we can tune into each other. I try to get a sense of how the animal parent interacts with and supports their animal through daily routine, and then try to replicate that routine. I pay close attention to what they animals are saying about what they need, and what brings about their contentment.
