Our 8 1/2 year old dog Emmy stayed with them for two weeks (after our regular dog sitter had a last minute medical emergency and we were lucky to find Heidi). Emmy took a little time to get adjusted and Bindi (Heidi’s dog) gave her space and kept her cool. I’m really thankful to them both for giving Emmy such a welcoming, safe and fun place to stay. She loved the fenced-in outdoor space. And didn’t want to leave when we came to pick her up!”

About: I've had dogs and taken care of them since I was a young child. As an adult I’ve fostered dogs for over 5 years, taking care of all types of dogs. I have experience potty training, house breaking, bathing, and more. The dogs I have fostered came from all sorts of backgrounds; homeless, abusive households, neglected, seniors, disabled (blind, deaf, hard of hearing, missing limbs). I enjoy spending time with all animals and animals like to be around me. Currently working on my dog trainer certification I have a flexible schedule since I work from home most of the time. As a dog owner myself I spend a lot of time taking care of my dog. We go on walks 3 times a day, he gets treats, cuddles and play time all day long. On the weekends when the weather is nice we like to go for short hikes. Unfortunately I sustained a bad fall in 2024 and broke my back; so I am unable to care for any pet over 50lbs or any pet that is leash reactive or pulls on a leash. Since that would aggravate the injury and most definetely stop me from caring for pets all together; I hope you can understand! I have a small backyard where we go play fetch, we also love going to Frenchy’s or many of the other parks in the area for walks and off leash play when the weather is nice. Going for walks 2-3 times a day around the neighborhood as well

About: My husband and I have an Australian cattle dog and had a tabby cat who has crossed the rainbow road. I often care for my family members' dog when they are out of town. He requires special care, as he needs to take a few pills every day both day and night. This schedule is second nature to us. We enjoy being around our furry pals and will enjoy caring for yours too! About: I will treat your pet like royalty! I have a huge fenced in yard with trees and lots of room to run and play. I work from home and nothing makes me smile more than animals. The animals I watch over I give lots of love and attention, as though they were my own. That’s the honest care and love I bring to each new animal I meet. I've always loved animals. When I was a kid I thought for sure I’d be a vet, or animal researcher or zoologist so I quickly became my neighborhood dog walker, cat sitter, fish feeder, bird watcher, snake charmer, etc. the list could go on! Since then, I have enjoyed sitting for friends and family. I’ll never say no to hanging out with a fur ball. I have experience with small and big dogs. I am active, strong, able to lift 100+ pounds and I love to spend time to really get to know each animal's personality. (I'll give them some serious love and attention.) I will give baths, groom and administer meds with precision. Whatever your dogs unique needs are, I’ll meet them. I also have experience with injured animals and newborns (neighborhood kittens have a way of finding me.) Rest assured your dog will be in good, safe, loving hands. If you happen to have cats, look no further. I adore spending time with the feline kind. I’ve cared for several dogs, cats, horses and rabbits for the majority of my life and love animals. Depending on where you live, I love taking dogs for long walks, and know a lot of the Santa Fe parks or places to exercise - my favorite right now being: Rose Park, Smith Park and Frank S Ortiz Dog Park. Please let me know if your animal has any special needs or medications and instructions for feeding and/or bathing. Please only reach out if your dog is 100% house trained, older than one year and plays well with others. I am not able to dog sit dogs who are not house trained or have aggression issues.
About: I am a devoted life-long dog-owner and dog-lover. I have grown up with dogs and couldn't imagine life without them. I am a bona fide "dog person," as any of my friends will tell you. About: Upon having taken care of pets for quite some time now. I have learned that all animals need love and compassion like us. I have cared for a variety of animals from mice to snakes and cats to goats. All of the time learning what to do and not to do with every animal. I've always had animals in my life ever since I was a little girl and I loved to caring for them. I was a foster parent for cats a few years back but had to stop when we moved. About: I have spent the last 3 years traveling while doing house/pet sits throughout Mexico, Arizona, California, Michigan, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida. My clients have included some high profile gigs in Bel-Air, Beverly Hills, Pacific Palisades, and Malibu, but I have also spent months at a time living off-grid in the Mexican jungle and caring for animals on remote farms. My experience dates back to 1991 when I worked my high school summer vacations on a sheep farm to escape city life. I love ALL animals, and have had a special connection with them, my whole life. Your pets (and babies) will be comfortable with me right away. I have been a mom to birds, rodents, fish, cats, and dogs. I do have some experience with reptiles, as well. I come with many years of hands-on experience with dogs and cats from the puppy/kitten stage through their golden years, so you can rest assured that any special accommodations your fur-baby may need will be met with kindness and compassion. I am particularly fond of, and experienced with Bully Breeds, Golden Retrievers, and Doodles of all varieties. I only provide pet care in the owners home as I’ve found it is a far less stressful experience for the pets and the sitter. It’s all I do, so your pets will get tons of attention and affection. I also do occasional dog walking gigs while I’m staying at your home. Your babies are my babies while you’re away, and your home will be treated with the utmost respect. Confidentiality and privacy are considered paramount, always.
About: Since I was about 9, I have taken care of, and helped to care for pets. My family and friends have always asked me for help with any of their pet needs, and I am always more than happy to help. I am currently back home from college and I am more than happy to be a dog walker for the summer. I am available most of the week from 10 am to 8 pm. My daily routine revolves around my pack needs. Our routine is generally foods, walks, parks, poops, pees, plays, sleeps, repeat…. Everything from simple walks and feeding to extended stays at my place or yours, it sounds like fun to me. I have a full time best friend and dog named Spreckles who is pretty close to perfect. His nickname is Sprex. He is Hawaiian, so naturally he is very friendly and mellow with tons of Aloha. My number one priority is pack safety. I follow a daily routine and consistent schedule with my pack. Our day always starts with a nice walk to a nearby park. I use my own custom made leash system that I can walk many dogs at the same time, safely and securely. When we’re not out walking or at the park we do a lot of chilling and hanging out around our house and fenced in yard. I promote the pack mentality among my dogs as I am always their pack leader who ensures their safety and protection all the time. I’m glad to use your dog’s crate at my house whenever I am not home if needed (not typical). Sometimes I take the pack out on planned field trips, usually afternoons and weekends, to various places throughout the area. Frenchy Park is right across the street from my house and super fun for the pups. I treat and protect each dog as if they were my own and love them all unconditionally. FYI, I don’t introduce my pack to other dogs that we don’t know, to avoid any unwanted drama and to keep everyone safe. New dogs really shouldn’t be introduced while on leashes anyway. I speak the language of dogs and am confident around them always. I am always their alpha who provides a fun and safe space for my pack.

Our 8 1/2 year old dog Emmy stayed with them for two weeks (after our regular dog sitter had a last minute medical emergency and we were lucky to find Heidi). Emmy took a little time to get adjusted and Bindi (Heidi’s dog) gave her space and kept her cool. I’m really thankful to them both for giving Emmy such a welcoming, safe and fun place to stay. She loved the fenced-in outdoor space. And didn’t want to leave when we came to pick her up!”
