Personalized care for your dog or cat - Malaga

“Colleen did an amazing job taking care of Abby. She sent plenty of updates through out the day and provided plenty of pictures making us feel at ease that was being taken great care of. We highly recommend having Colleen take care of you furbabies while you’re away.”

About: I have years of hands-on animal care experience including time as a foster for Noahs Ark Animal Shelter. I have dogs in my home, but they are very well socialized and I also have spare rooms where I can keep your pets separated if needed. I am also experienced with dogs that require meds or other special care. I have plenty of time during the work day for pet walks and potty breaks! Your pets will get some nice cuddles and play time too. I have a tall fenced yard and the perfect set up for dog boarding! Everyone is allowed on the furniture and can sleep in the bed if they want. I have mostly older dogs in home, and everyone is well socialized from years of fostering for the animal shelter.

“Ainette was absolutely incredible with my baby bjorn! From the very first meetup, it was clear how much they genuinely care about animals. They were extremely reliable, professional, and kept me updated the entire time with great communication and adorable photos.I was completely at ease knowing my baby was safe, happy, and treated like family. I will absolutely book with Ainette again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a top-tier sitter!"”

“Colleen was absolutely wonderful, and we could not have asked for a better pet sitter! From the moment we met her, we felt completely comfortable knowing our cats and chickens would be in such caring and capable hands while we were away for two weeks. Her updates and pictures were truly one of the highlights of our trip! She kept us informed about everyone and always included the sweetest details and photos that captured their individual personalities as they got to know Colleen better each day. We especially loved seeing Barney’s little peeks and hearing about his cat zoomies! 🥰🐾 It was so reassuring and heartwarming to see how comfortable and happy everyone became with her. Colleen went above and beyond in caring for our entire crew, making sure the cats were fed, watered, and well cared for and that the chickens were happy and looked after too. She was incredibly attentive, reliable, and thoughtful throughout every visit. It was clear that she genuinely enjoyed spending time with our animals and cared about them as much as we do! Coming home to happy pets and knowing they had received such wonderful care gave us complete peace of mind during our trip. We truly appreciated every update, every picture, and all the love she gave our little crew. We cannot recommend Colleen highly enough! She was 100% spot-on every single day, and we feel incredibly lucky to have found her. We will absolutely be booking with her again and look forward to having her care for our pets in the future! 🐾🐥”

About: I’ve owned dogs all my life, and for almost the entirety of my adult life I have owned dogs, volunteered at the shelter, picked up strays, and all around just been involved with dogs! I’ve had dogs ranging from puppies to seniors, and love them all I work 6am-3pm Monday through Friday with a lunch at noon all of those days! My dogs get a mid day break and my full attention on weekends and your dogs would get the same. I have a fenced yard where the back yard is separated from the front. Three of my dogs hang out outside during the day, and one stays inside as she gets picked on occasionally and I don’t risk any issues when I’m not here. Your pets would be crated in the house when I’m gone with plenty of time to run and play and be walked during lunch and after work!

“If you’ve brought your pup to Carlsbad or the surrounding area and need a dog sitter, I would highly recommend Colleen. She treated our pup like her own. Lots of updates and pics while we were out hiking. Super flexible and responsive. She gave our pup a lot of TLC. We will definitely be using her services the next time we’re here.”

“Ainette took such great care of our pup while we were exploring Carlsbad caverns! It was great to get status updates and fun pictures along the way. This was my first time using rover and I was a bit nervous going into it but Ainette made me feel comfortable and I could tell Penny was in good hands.”
