About: I've had dogs and taken care of them since I was a young child. As an adult I’ve fostered dogs for over 5 years, taking care of all types of dogs. I have experience potty training, house breaking, bathing, and more. The dogs I have fostered came from all sorts of backgrounds; homeless, abusive households, neglected, seniors, disabled (blind, deaf, hard of hearing, missing limbs). I enjoy spending time with all animals and animals like to be around me. Currently working on my dog trainer certification I have a flexible schedule since I work from home most of the time. As a dog owner myself I spend a lot of time taking care of my dog. We go on walks 3 times a day, he gets treats, cuddles and play time all day long. On the weekends when the weather is nice we like to go for short hikes. Unfortunately I sustained a bad fall in 2024 and broke my back; so I am unable to care for any pet over 50lbs or any pet that is leash reactive or pulls on a leash. Since that would aggravate the injury and most definetely stop me from caring for pets all together; I hope you can understand! I have a small backyard where we go play fetch, we also love going to Frenchy’s or many of the other parks in the area for walks and off leash play when the weather is nice. Going for walks 2-3 times a day around the neighborhood as well

About: I grew up around lots of animals (cats, dogs, chickens, goats, reptiles), and I now have a lovely cat of my own named Julian. I absolutely love getting to spend time with other people’s pets. At this point in my life, I’d say I’m very much both a dog-person and a cat-person. I go on walks every day before or after work, and during my lunch break. Walking a dog would fit naturally into that routine. I’m willing to wake up early in the morning if needed, and if the client lives in Santa Fe, I would have the capacity to visit the dog or cat during my midday break from work as well. If the client lives outside of Santa Fe, I’m still available every evening for walks, feeding, and giving the dog/cat attention and human contact. I’m typically able to stay overnight at a client’s home any night of the week if needed. I treat pets with care, respect, and attentiveness. I’m a clean and tidy houseguest, and will respect the client’s privacy and boundaries. Whether you need me to take your dog for a walk, stop by once or twice a day to feed your cat, or stay overnight to keep your pet(s) company, I will be professional, responsible, and caring towards your pets. About: For over 20 years I have worked with all kinds of animals including cats and dogs, from day to day and senior care, to veterinary care and training. I have over 10 years of dog training experience in behavioral modification/reactivity, basic training and commands, service animal skills and tasks, and puppy training. Your pet will get lots of adventure with me! I am available for evening care M-F after 4p and anytime on weekends. I can do overnight stays with your pet but work full time M-F 8a-4p I have a fenced yard with an additional 10 acres of canyon and forest surrounding to allow your pet to have adventures and fun. I can crate your dog if necessary and have a trained furry companion of my own who can befriend your pet too!

My dog, Tessie, is so important to me so I treat your pets with as much love and care that I would want her to have. My work experience includes firefighter/paramedic, ER nurse, clinic work, and am certified in Pet First Aid. I am the Clinical Director at a local free clinic. This allows me to have flexible but predictable hours each week. Because of this I can provide consistent, punctual visits with compassionate care for your pets. For house sitting I can make mid day visits so that your pets are not alone for longer than needed. I cater each experience to the needs of you and your pet. I prefer to have clear communication of your preferences so that I can ensure that you are as happy with the visit as your pets are. For house sitting, I stay in the home so pets can remain in their familiar space with minimal disruption. I follow their usual feeding, walking, and medication schedules, provide companionship throughout the day and evening, and ensure the home is cared for as well (lights, plants, mail, basic tidiness). My goal is to maintain a calm, consistent presence so pets feel safe and relaxed while their owners are away. For in home drop-ins, I provide feeding, fresh water, litter box or yard clean up, medications if needed, and quality time with each pet. I tailor each visit to the pet’s energy level and personality including playtime, short walks, or quiet companionship. I also provide updates after each visit so owners feel connected and reassured. For dog walking, I focus on safe, structured walks that match your dog’s pace and needs. I prioritize leash safety, positive reinforcement, and a calm walking experience. Walks can include neighborhood routes or familiar areas your dog enjoys, or local dog parks, and I always ensure they return home settled, hydrated, and comfortable.
