About: I’ve lived with and cared for dogs all my life. In fact, my mother used to throw fits when she'd wake to find that I'd snuck out of my room at night to sleep in the dog house with the hounds! About: I wanted a dog my whole life but my parents weren't pet people. I finally got my own dog as an adult when I also had two toddlers. It was way more work than I thought it would be, but training my puppy and watching him grow and teaching my kids about caring for a dog was so incredibly fulfilling! I loved learning about training and dog behavior and psychology and learned so much! I love all animals and especially love dogs and would love to share that love with your dog too!! I am a full time stay at home mom so my schedule is very flexible. Two of my kids are in school all day and I have a 2 year old who is home with me all day. I spend most of my time at home, with the occasional outings and errand running. Because I have a flexible schedule, I can fit your dog's schedule easily into mine. I can do potty breaks and walks whenever necessary and I live near a couple parks with dog runs that I like to take my dog to, so I could easily bring your dog as well. Though I am busy with 3 kids, I'm never too busy to love and care for extra pets! I have a fenced yard where your dog can go out for potty breaks. It is not a huge yard, but it is safe with rocks and turf where my dog uses the bathroom. My dog is inside for pretty much the whole day so your dog would be with him inside as well. I do have 3 kids, so your dog needs to be ok with small children, but they have all grown up with a dog and know how to be kind and respectful to dogs.

During walks, I keep dogs on a secure leash and harness, monitor them closely for traffic, other dogs, or hazards, and adjust pace to each dog’s comfort and energy level. At home, I supervise interactions with Curly carefully, ensure doors and gates are always closed, and separate dogs when needed to maintain a calm, safe environment. I provide daily walks, structured routine, and plenty of attention. I follow each owner’s feeding schedule carefully and stick strictly to any dietary instructions, as I understand how important that is from managing my own dog Curly’s prescription diet.

“I unexpectedly had to find a boarder for my dog when I went on a trip abroad. Shell came through and was exactly what we needed. Very professional, with a meet and greet first, and was very patient with my Bisbee while she got over being shy for the first few days. Shell kept me updated on how my dog was doing everyday or every other day, made sure she was well taken care of and had lots of affection and love. Bisbee loved playing with the other dogs at the house too and it was a great opportunity for her to socialize more. Would definitely recommend and we will be using her again in the future!”
