She has a such a comforting home that welcomed my little Pita, as soon as I dropped her off she was excited to be there. I will definitely be coming back with Angel!”

“Stephanie has a wonderfully large space for dogs to play outdoors and get plenty of exercise. One of our pets was recovering from an unexpected illness and needed medications and some very specific feeding instructions which was managed very diligently. We are very happy with the care our dogs received here.”

“Katie, if I had the ability to give 10 stars to you, I would! Thank you so much for trusting in me and my assesss vment of who Phoenix is and for trusting your intuition and accepting Phoenix for a number of days when you didn't know him and agreed to take him while I was visiting Santa fe. Thank you so much for taking good care of him when he got diarrhea while he was in her home. When I first arrived I thought how is this going to work with all the dogs and no big backyard. Within a few minutes to made it all clear how it would work and I am grateful to you for all the walks you got in with him while he was with you. And .... because I lost his new gentle leader AGAIN, tonight I put him in the suitcase leash position that you taught me and we just finished the BEST evening 'snif'arrai we have ever had. It was everything I have hoped for with him on a leaisurey evening walk. I am most grateful to you and to Joe ... who Phoenix says was the best snuggle partner EVER. THANK YOU to both of you! Maybe see you again in August ...”

“We have continued to use Candace as she is great with our Chihuahua. Our pup wags her tail when we walk up Candace's steps to drop her off, that's when we know she's in great hands.”
“Ziggy had a great time with Rachel! He quickly made himself at home and loved cuddling, playing ball, and going on walks with her. Rachel made it easy to coordinate around my travel plans and kept me updated on how Ziggy was doing.”

“Brandi was wonderful with our pup. Extremely responsive, provided updates, helped work on his high high energy, and conscientious. Will definitely continue to book with her!”

“Ian took great care of our giant puppy for a week over Christmas so we could be with family on the East Coast. We appreciated his willingness to do so over the holiday.”

“We were in a bind due to a family emergency which prohibited us from taking the dog, and very apprehensive about the safety and care of our beloved Mowgli. Such gratitude that Cindy stepped in, we were able to meet that day and throughout the trip we received updates showing Mowgli so well cared for. When we got home he was completely contented. Thank you Rover and especially Cindy - you gave us peace of mind at a time when it meant so much.”

“Reliable and conscientious. Worked thru illness and lots of snow. Willing to change her schedule when I booked the sit wrong and was already on my way out of town! Not super experienced with cats (I was in a shelter beh department and my mom bred cats so my baseline is high) but reading and learning. Also learning R+ training! My cat was not as frantic as she usually is when I got home after being gone almost two weeks. So she clearly got lots of attention. Plus she continued meowing for Rhiannon and checking the doors even when she had me. And no new undesirable behaviors. Also I'd left the house excessively clean because I had guests coming and was pleased to find it just as clean when I got home.”
“Ian is friendly, dependable and put my mind at ease while we were traveling. We've already made another booking with him! Appreciated the communication and photo of the kitties! Highly recommended.”

About: My family has had cats since I was just 7 years old. Though it turned out my Mom was severely allergic, we made some adjustments around the ranch so that we could still keep them and take care of them. At one time we even had 35 cats! My husband and his family also have cats, and I would be more than happy to pop in/check in on your furry friend. Though I’m allergic and can’t keep them overnight, I’ll be happy to check in on them as much as you need! I’ll be happy to send photos and updates as well. Let me know if you have any special requests so I can make sure your furry friend is all taken care of!
“Teresa was amazing and my kitties loved her!! She was very communicative and extremely helpful... even when random issues came up at my apartment building. She sent me a bunch of pics and I highly recommend her :)”
About: Enthusiastic and experienced animal care taker with stellar references. Fear free certified veterinary nurse in Santa Fe NM. Looking forward to assisting you and the needs of your pet! My passion for pet care comes from 10 years as a veterinary technician. Currently, working as a trainer for Assistance Dog of The west. In Santa Fe. “Mel was Amazing with Margaret! They were very understanding when our plans changed and flexible with our schedule. Mel sent an update daily and very communicative! Will definitely book again! 😸”

“Angel did a great job. She was on time for visits, sent lots of photos and contacted me when necessary for questions. Through her communication she put my mind at ease that my kitties were being well cared for. I will use her again.”

About: Being a college student I still live at home, so pet/house sitting is a great way for me to earn money doing what I love, being around animals. Growing up in on the outskirts of Santa Fe, I spent most of my time with pets and farm animals. I have been caring for my own pet my whole life and being caring for other people's since i was 10. Classes are short and I do homework at home so I am able to provide all around care and offer frequent potty breaks. Elderly dogs have a special place in my heart after caring for a regular client whith a elderly dog on medications. Dogs, cats, snakes, you name I have probably taken care. I can't wait to meet your furry children.
About: I'm new to caring for dogs professionally, I've dog and cat sat for my neighbor several times over the last three years. While I'm new to taking care of pets in a professional setting, I've cared for dogs of all kinds since I was 10 years old. I've always felt a kindred spirit for animals and treat them with the utmost respect and care. From feeding, to bathing, and walking there isn't any dog I haven't enjoyed taking care of or spending time with. I recently lost my sweet boy who was in my life for seven years as he was an elder dog when I adpoted him and that's what brought me to Rover. I can guarantee your pet will be well cared for with me. I have a pretty open schedule right now since I only work part-time. I'm available after 3 pm Monday - Wednesday and have full availibility Thursday - Sunday to care for your fur baby. I'm available for boarding on weekends and can come to your fur baby as well if they prefer being at home. You can have peace of mind knowing that your fur baby will be cared for with full attention to detail. I can ensure a peaceful and calm environment when caring for your pets especailly senior pets who enjoy peace and quiet. If your pet needs a lot of outside time, walks are my specialty. Whatever your pet needs are I can accomodate. I'm always open to meeting with you and your pet to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable.
About: I have 24 years of experience taking care of animals. Most of it personal. I do have almost 3 years of professional pet care. I currently work at a grooming assistant/groomer. I am trained in administration of all sorts of medications including administration of insulin. Best number to reach me will be the 505 number. I no longer have the 972 area code in service and I can't remove it for some reason. I am currently a grooming assistant/groomer and currently working friday-tuesday from 9:30-5:30. Occasionally days tend to get canceled, run longer, or even shorter. Most of the times it depends on how the pet does and how many pets there are in a day. For the safety of your pets I would recommend I stay at your home as one of my dogs can be aggressive/reactive with new dogs. Should there be no other options my dog is kennel trained and can be in his kennel and alternate turns getting attention and going outside. I have a fenced backyard but will take pet on leashed walks around the neighborhood or have supervised playtime in the yard.

About: I have spent the last 3 years traveling while doing house/pet sits throughout Mexico, Arizona, California, Michigan, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida. My clients have included some high profile gigs in Bel-Air, Beverly Hills, Pacific Palisades, and Malibu, but I have also spent months at a time living off-grid in the Mexican jungle and caring for animals on remote farms. My experience dates back to 1991 when I worked my high school summer vacations on a sheep farm to escape city life. I love ALL animals, and have had a special connection with them, my whole life. Your pets (and babies) will be comfortable with me right away. I have been a mom to birds, rodents, fish, cats, and dogs. I do have some experience with reptiles, as well. I come with many years of hands-on experience with dogs and cats from the puppy/kitten stage through their golden years, so you can rest assured that any special accommodations your fur-baby may need will be met with kindness and compassion. I am particularly fond of, and experienced with Bully Breeds, Golden Retrievers, and Doodles of all varieties. I only provide pet care in the owners home as I’ve found it is a far less stressful experience for the pets and the sitter. It’s all I do, so your pets will get tons of attention and affection. I also do occasional dog walking gigs while I’m staying at your home. Your babies are my babies while you’re away, and your home will be treated with the utmost respect. “Victoria was great! She was able to watch my pups on short notice and responded quickly to my questions. My girls got to hang outside and enjoy the great views from the yard.”

About: I was very lucky to grow up in a house with many pets, including many dogs, cats, fish, and birds. I love all types of dogs from tiny shitzus, to the largest Rottweilers. I also love all cats, from the ultra-fluffy cuddlers to the lone-lions. I believe that all animals deserve loving homes and that they are essentially doing their best; and it is us as owners who can show them how to behave, communicate, and love in our hooman world. I have pet-sat for my family and friends many times over the years, and have experience in animal rehabilitation, including dogs and cats with medication needs and injuries. My partner and I have a sweet German Shepherd/Golden Retriever who we’ve raised and trained since she was a puppy, and we have a cuddly rescued turkish angora cat. They mean so much to us! I strive to give other pets the same level of love while their hoomans are away. I work remotely with a very flexible schedule. I’d be available to come feed, play, walk, and hang out with your furry friends at most hours of the day on any day of the week— and would be open to overnight stays as well! Sometimes I travel for work, in which I would let clients know in advance when I am not available. I am an excellent communicator and will be available for calls/texts and updates whenever appropriate. I will make sure to note all client details down so that I do not miss any important routines. If/when we offer boarding or day-care, we have a large fenced backyard for the pupps to play in (supervised). We ask that any dogs we board be cat-friendly, and non-aggressive.
“I am visiting Santa Fe from out of town, and Stephanie took care of my high-energy Labrador for the day. My dog came back to me clean and tired, and Stephanie sent me photos and updates throughout the day. I would definitely take Margot to her again!”

“Iosif was amazing! Great communication from start to finish sent me updates throughout the day with videos and pictures. Iosif was very careful and wanted to make sure that his dog and my dog got along and asked the appropriate questions I was traveling, but if I am in Santa Fe again, I need pet sitting he’ll be my first choice.”

About: As a life long pet owner, I have had great report with animals of all sizes. I have trained and enjoyed a kennel free environment. All my dogs have had happy lives and great disposition with kids and other animals. I will provide a safe and loving home for your dog where they will receive a ton of love and petting. I love that my dog will follow me around and look for any moment to get petting and affection; even will force my bathroom door open, knowing I am a captive audience. I look forward to doing the same for your pooch. I have walked dogs both short and long distances. Thank you for your consideration and look forward to meeting your family member (dog).
“Michelle was a very good companion for our dog. She sent us pictures and kept us informed during the day. Michelle played with our dog and made him comfortable in her beautiful and very clean home. I totally and completely recommend Michelle to anyone looking for help with their dog.”

“My Chiweenie Bug practically jumps out of the window when we turn onto Melissa's street. Her 3 dogs are the cutest and took to my dog immediately. He comes home happy and tired, what more can you ask for? And she even gave me a recipe for the food she makes for her dogs, and Bug looooves it.”

“Allegra was a perfect host for our dog, Barley! We had to make kind of last minute plans and Allegra was very accommodating for our late daycare needs. She and her husband were super nice and clearly caring dog people, plus they have a very friendly dog who Barley got along with. We would recommend them to anyone!”

“Katie is wonderful!!! I was traveling for work away from my usual support group for my dog, and Katie instantly made me feel at ease. She’s kind, patient, and and great with anxious dogs like mine! 10/10 would recommend if your dog needs a friend in Santa Fe!”

About: I've had dogs and taken care of them since I was a young child. As an adult I’ve fostered dogs for over 5 years, taking care of all types of dogs. I have experience potty training, house breaking, bathing, and more. The dogs I have fostered came from all sorts of backgrounds; homeless, abusive households, neglected, seniors, disabled (blind, deaf, hard of hearing, missing limbs). I enjoy spending time with all animals and animals like to be around me. Currently working on my dog trainer certification I have a flexible schedule since I work from home most of the time. As a dog owner myself I spend a lot of time taking care of my dog. We go on walks 3 times a day, he gets treats, cuddles and play time all day long. On the weekends when the weather is nice we like to go for short hikes. Unfortunately I sustained a bad fall in 2024 and broke my back; so I am unable to care for any pet over 50lbs or any pet that is leash reactive or pulls on a leash. Since that would aggravate the injury and most definetely stop me from caring for pets all together; I hope you can understand! I have a small backyard where we go play fetch, we also love going to Frenchy’s or many of the other parks in the area for walks and off leash play when the weather is nice. Going for walks 2-3 times a day around the neighborhood as well
“First time using a pup sitter, so definitely first time using Rover. It went great, especially since it was a last minute needed booking. Michael was just great with Rio! Thank you, Michael”

About: Hello, and thanks for viewing my profile! My name is Madeleine, and I'd love to be your next pet sitter. I live in Madrid and can help out in that area, but have no problem at all traveling to Santa Fe, Albuquerque, or farther for work. I have two sweet cats at home - Ain and Vega. They have been in my life for 7 wonderful years, since they were kittens. I've even taught them a few tricks - their favorite is "high-five"! I currently work various gig-style jobs while preparing to start work as an EMT in Santa Fe. I have truly always loved pets, and grew up with cats, dogs, and chickens. I've had cats as pets for most of my life. I lived in New Mexico for many years before leaving to explore other parts of the country. My transition back here involved two back-to-back months-long cat/house-sitting arrangements, so I'm extremely well-practiced and my skills are very current. I hope to meet you and your fur babies soon! I'm working various part-time jobs, but pets always take priority. I can schedule other jobs around the hours that you and your pets will need my attention. I keep my cats mostly indoors, since I live in a more rural area. We do get out and explore on harnesses and leashes from time-to-time. I am willing to look after strictly indoor, outdoor, or indoor/outdoor pets of all kinds.
About: Since I was five years old I’ve had a dog. At the age of seven my family moved to a ranch where at one time we had up to 15 catahoula/pitbull mixes, labradors, and German Shepherds. I also volunteered for two years at an animal shelter in Bryan, TX. I have dealt with several dogs of different demeanors as well as given first aid to dogs with various injuries. Rest assured your dog will be safe with me! Hi there! I’ve just moved to Santa Fe, and I would be more than happy to watch your furry friend. I am actively job hunting, so I will let you know if I have an interview scheduled. I have one active Labrador retriever who is well-tempered and trained so there will not be many dogs. If I have another dog coming on the date you requested I will let you know in advance. I have a fenced yard with artificial turf and one energetic, playful, and well-tempered Labrador retriever. She’s spayed and fully vaccinated (+ the bordetella vaccine) of course, and loves to play! No history of aggression or dog fights, and she is well trained.
About: I grew up in a household with cats, dogs, small mammals, exotic and domestic birds, reptiles, and fish. I have experience as both a short and long term pet/house sitter. A large portion of my life has been spent working at pet stores, aquariums, wildlife rehabilitation facilities and with animal trainers so I have good background knowledge surrounding a large variety of animal care. By trade I am a biologist with a focus in the marine sciences. As a full-time field biologist, the field part of my job doesn’t allow me time to have pets of my own. So between field jobs I greatly enjoy the opportunity to pet sit since I have lots of time to dedicate to your pet! I feel that pet sitting is a great way to get some animal time in while also helping out. I am very attentive, caring, trustworthy, and dedicated. Every home has a routine and flow all its own, one of the most important things a sitter can do is maintain that rythem while the pet parent is away, and give lots of extra love too. Thank you for taking the time to review my information, I would be thrilled to speak with you about how we can work together to meet you and your pets needs.
About: I’ve owned and taken care of dogs for over 9 years and absolutely adore being around them. I can work on basic trainings for puppies, play hard with them, or give them the long walk they need. For senior dogs, I love to give them all the snuggles and pets they need :) seeing them happy makes me happy. Im currently working part time and have a very flexible work schedule, leaving plenty of time to let your dog out, play, or walk your pup during weekdays. Safety is huge when it comes to me watching your pup. Depending on your dog and safety protocols, I will follow them strictly (only allowed in a fenced yard, always leashed on a walk, etc).
About: I have had cats and dogs my entire life and first started dog sitting as a teenager. I love animals and getting to know their individual personalities and how much joy they can add to our lives! Having the peace of mind that your fur-baby is safe and happy while you are away allows you to enjoy your trip to the fullest. I work part time remotely and pet care will easily fit into my everyday routine as I set my work hours and as such they are flexible I will provide whatever care is required for your pet’s wellbeing with love and patience. Whether they require special care, or just need a friend to walk around the neighborhood with I am happy to help!

“When I first met with Lisa she wanted to know everything about my dogs, and they all gathered around her, becoming instantly comfortable with her. I have complete trust that she will keep them safe and happy whenever she is with them.”

I have experience with senior animals, medicine administration and round the clock care. I have volunteered in a professional vet facility and took four years of pre vet tech classes through out my high school career. My house is no longer pet free and I am unfortunately not able to host any new fuzzy friends. Thanks for stopping by and I cannot wait to meet you! I'm regularly available Wednesday thru Saturday and open to making exceptions if your needs fall outside my scheduled availability. We can work it all out! I always set up initial meet and greets to ensure we'll be a great fit. Additionally, I provide quick, respectful and open communication from start to finish.
“Chase has been walking my dog for the last few weeks. He is always on time, very friendly, helpful and kind. My dog always enjoys his time with. Phase. I highly recommend.”

“I really enjoyed meeting Rowan at your previous job at the daycare. It's wonderful to see her embark on her own journey. Bash was delighted to see her too. I truly appreciated her communication skills and the way she took care of Bash during one of his walks. I hope to collaborate with her in the future!”

“Amy was so great taking my 2 Catahoula’s on an hour walk and feeding them dinner. She was very responsive to any questions that came up. I felt very comfortable with her coming and going from my home with no problems. Thank you so much and will be booking again soon.”

About: If your pet needs a new best friend… I’m your guy. I’ve loved animals literally my whole life! My first dog was a Husky who used to give me chaparoned rides in the backyard when I was a baby. Since then I’ve grown up with all kinds of pets, dogs, cats, bunnies, mice, hamsters, chickens, and animals have always just vibed with me! I bond really well with pets of all kinds, whether they’re shy, playful, energetic, or the type that just wants a chill person around. I do this because I genuinely love animals, and taking care of them makes me happy ! It’s something that feels natural and meaningful to me. If you choose me, I’ll treat your pet like they’re part of my own little pack, with patience, attention, and good energy. Whether it’s walks, hangs, feedings, or just being a safe presence while you’re away, I’m here to make it easy for both you and your pet. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I’m flexible and can work around you and your pets schedule. We’ll find a rhythm that works for both of us. Alongside pet sitting and house sitting, I offer energy healing sessions. Feel free to ask me more. I take care of pets in a way that feels natural for us. In your home, I stick to their usual schedule and make sure they get attention, company, and whatever they need to feel safe. I’ve got plenty of time to give, and I’m available for overnights if you’re going out of town.

About: I adore animals, but as a single person and a renter, it hasn’t been the right time to have my own yet. Whatever the needs of your pets are, I can provide loving care for them in your home. I have cared for cats and dogs, young and old, and am comfortable administering medications. In terms of diet and exercise, I will adhere to whatever guidelines you say are best. In addition to caring for your pets, I am happy to look after your plants and garden as well. My goal is for both you and your pets to be at ease while you are separated. I am a good communicator and will keep you updated to the level of your liking during my stay. I spend my summers working in Alaska and have a flexible schedule while in Santa Fe. I enjoy exploring new neighborhoods and would love the company of your sweet pet 😊 I am calm, attentive, and will cater activities to suit your pet’s needs. If your pup likes walks or the park— great! If couch hangs and lap snuggles are more their speed— wonderful, I’ll bring a book!

“Amanda was amazing with my dog Coco! She was caring, reliable, and kept me updated while I was away, which gave me so much peace of mind. Coco was happy, comfortable, and clearly well cared for when I got back. I would absolutely trust Amanda to watch Coco again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable pet sitter.”

“Angel was an amazing dog sitter she always kept me informed of how she was doing and made the process so easy for me to be away from my baby. She has a such a comforting home that welcomed my little Pita, as soon as I dropped her off she was excited to be there. I will definitely be coming back with Angel!”

“Allegra and family took great care of Wesley, our New Mexico mutt. From the pictures Allegre sent, Wesley and her dog Bowie looked inseparable. So glad to have a reliable, communicative dog sitter in town when we need it.”

“Melinda is a wonderful dog sitter! She sent lots of videos of my doggie Elsie playing with her sweet dog Max while I was out of town. I definitely recommend her services. Her dog is a great playmate for other dogs, and her communication is great!”

“Coco loves staying with Maellen and her family! I love that I receive photos and videos, but can stay worry free while I am away. Thank you for taking such good care of Coco.”

“Great people to take care of your dog. She sent me pictures on a daily basis so I could see that Ivy was enjoying herself. I intend to use her in the future. Thank you Victoria”

“We boarded our older boy with Brian & Jerri for 11 nights. He has special needs so he requires special food and daily meds. They were kind enough to agree to accommodate him. We cannot thank them enough for taking such good care of him in our absence.”

“Brandi was wonderful with our pup. Extremely responsive, provided updates, helped work on his high high energy, and conscientious. Will definitely continue to book with her!”

“Tami is a fantastic rover caretaker for your dog. She took the very best care of my labradoodle and sent me photos and updates throughout her stay. Tami has a beautiful property just outside downtown Santa Fe that is heavenly for dogs. A fenced in backyard with plenty of shade and space. Fresh running water at all times. Comfortable sleeping and eating space Icing on the cake were Tami’s very helpful recommendations about taking advantage of Santa Fe. She shared a wealth of good information. I only wish I had a rover as great as Tami where I live!”

“Crystal was amazing! She was extremely quick to communicate and gave me updates throughout Emma‘s stay with her. Emma almost didn’t wanna leave ! Would highly recommend her to anyone in the area!”

“Heidi is great! She thoughtfully cared for my picky, excitable German Shepherd mix. She has a large dog friendly yard and kept us informed on how he was doing. I'd recommend her without reservation. Thanks, Heidi!”

“What a guy! Iosif took great care of our senior dog during our last minute weekend away. He took care to send pictures and gave updates even though it was just a quick overnighter. Super flexible and accommodating with pick up and drop off times. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Michele, her husband and their dog took good care of Lulu. She provided a welcoming space and tried to make Lulu feel at home. And, she provided regular updates. Thank you!”

“Chad provides a safe environment! My dog got along with his dog right away, which doesn’t always happen. The dogs have a great big backyard to play in, they don’t go for walks normally. Mentioning because if you want that you need to talk to Chad to arrange it. Chad agreed not to crate my dog which is good because he hasn’t been in a crate in years, and Max seems in good health when I picked him up, moved pretty good for a senior dog.”
