About: I’m a long time pet care taker of every capacity! In addition to having multiple pets of my own, I’ve been pet sitting for 24 years. I’ve cared for countless dogs and cats but also worked at 2 farms and have bird experience as well. I’ve handled many emergency situations with dogs and cats. Both of my boys are very gentle and kind with all the animals I babysit, quite a lot have come through our house! They’re very used to it and love it. We live on base in a house with a good size yard and plenty of walking paths. I’m a very happy to accommodate whatever amount of walking or playing that’s needed.
“I was on a business trip for 7 days, and from the beginning Justin was very kind and accommodating. He was very responsive, always answering texts quickly. He also did a great job giving my pup her medications. The only thing is that after the first two pictures within an hour after I dropped her off, most updates came when I texted to ask how she was doing. Very few updates or photos came from them initiating and when he responded his answers were nice but also very general I couldn't get a sense for how she was doing. When I picked her up she smelled great, so I think they gave her a bath. All and all, it was a good stay. Given I was working 12-hour days in California, a 3-hour time difference, I was hoping the updates would come from them but to be fair, I never asked them to update me daily. As long as you don't mind asking for information about your pet and taking the initiative, it's a great arrangement. He's a very, very nice man.”

Both required medication and 3 different types of meal throughout the day, and Justin and Kari were just outstanding. Not only they kept Papaya and Someday in their routine and play time, but they also brought additional toys for them to play, cleaned the litter and surroundings (including taking care of a pee accident in the bathroom mat), sent us daily pictures of our fur babies, washed the water fountain to avoid clogging, watered the plants when needed... I mean, no words can say how grateful we were in finding them through here and knowing that our kitties were very well taken care of (to the point that Someday - our skittish one - was looking after Kari for extra pets!) About: If there’s one thing I love almost as much as my family — it’s pet sitting. For me, pet-sitting has always been a very rewarding experience. Having your pet stay in your own home means he/she is in familiar surroundings while you are away. Thanks to smartphones and email, it makes it easier for you to check in daily with updates and pictures. You’ll know yours is just fine while you’re gone. I have house-sat for many friends with both cats and dogs ranging from 5lbs to over 60lbs+. I have sat for kittens as well as full grown pit bulls. Dog walking and litter boxes do not bother me. I do work FT on weekdays but I can leave during my 1 hr lunch period. I would be with your pet every morning and at night. I do not travel, nor have much of a social life that would take me away. I don’t do much boarding, but when I house sit I follow all instructions. I also do not allow others to enter the home unless otherwise accepted.

He may have a little underbite that looks threatening, but don’t be fooled, he is the sweetest little cuddle bug around. I love doing outdoor activities. I take Jasper hiking, alongside me on bike rides, runs, beaches, and walks. We haven’t braved the kayak or paddle board yet but once he’s more comfy in the water—it’s game on. Although I do enjoy a lot of outdoor activities, I also like to have a good book and curl up with Jasper on my couch to get some relaxation in.
