About: I’ve lived and cared for cats for my entire life. There was never a time in which there were less than 2 cats in my household but it was usually 3! Most of my cats were ones I’ve had from the time they were 8 weeks old until they were seniors so I have plenty of experience with the needs of cats of all ages. Some of my past cats had health issues which has given me experience in administering medications and accommodating physical disabilities. I have 3 cats currently ranging in age from 1 to 5 years old and most of my day is spent with them attached to my hip (one is a Siamese, if you know you know lol). About: I been working with animals for 11 years now. Now being around other peoples fur babies is my part time job that I enjoy soo much. I will give full care and love toward the animals you hold dear to your heart and treat them as my own giving them their space and patience to letting them to get to know me. I make sure to play and walk animals and that they are promptly fed during their accustomed feeding hours and make sure any medicine is taken when needed. I always make sure water bowls are filled. I have six babies of my own, four dogs and two cats and I am fortunate that my little babies have uplifted my spirits on bad days and in return I like to give them the joy of just being outside for a hike or go backpacking, playing or cuddles! I can do housesits from San Felipe to any where near by Jemez, Santa Ana, Bernalillo, Rio Rancho, Santa Fe, Albuquerque. About: I wanted a dog my whole life but my parents weren't pet people. I finally got my own dog as an adult when I also had two toddlers. It was way more work than I thought it would be, but training my puppy and watching him grow and teaching my kids about caring for a dog was so incredibly fulfilling! I loved learning about training and dog behavior and psychology and learned so much! I love all animals and especially love dogs and would love to share that love with your dog too!! I am a full time stay at home mom so my schedule is very flexible. Two of my kids are in school all day and I have a 2 year old who is home with me all day. I spend most of my time at home, with the occasional outings and errand running. Because I have a flexible schedule, I can fit your dog's schedule easily into mine. I can do potty breaks and walks whenever necessary and I live near a couple parks with dog runs that I like to take my dog to, so I could easily bring your dog as well. Though I am busy with 3 kids, I'm never too busy to love and care for extra pets! I have a fenced yard where your dog can go out for potty breaks. It is not a huge yard, but it is safe with rocks and turf where my dog uses the bathroom. My dog is inside for pretty much the whole day so your dog would be with him inside as well. I do have 3 kids, so your dog needs to be ok with small children, but they have all grown up with a dog and know how to be kind and respectful to dogs.

During walks, I keep dogs on a secure leash and harness, monitor them closely for traffic, other dogs, or hazards, and adjust pace to each dog’s comfort and energy level. At home, I supervise interactions with Curly carefully, ensure doors and gates are always closed, and separate dogs when needed to maintain a calm, safe environment. I provide daily walks, structured routine, and plenty of attention. I follow each owner’s feeding schedule carefully and stick strictly to any dietary instructions, as I understand how important that is from managing my own dog Curly’s prescription diet.

I can work in between those times and I only have one shift a day. (Some days are completely open!) I am very good about respecting spaces and following directions. I usually walk dogs twice a day around the neighborhood; however, I will follow whatever directions are given. I love giving attention to pets, especially dogs that need some extra care. Adopting my dog as a senior gave me a special love for all senior dogs!

About: I grew up in a house full of animals. As long as I can remember, my family has lived with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chickens, lizards, frogs, snails, salamanders and all manner of wild backyard critters as well to attend. I was raised to respect these animals as well as attend to their needs. I believe love and respect go hand-in-hand, and I love creatures of all shapes and sizes! Since I was old enough to babysit, I was also pet-sitting! I believe that animals are not only our friends and our kindred spirits, but also our duty to care for well. I spent time working as a pet nutritional expert at a store in Austin, TX, and that experience only increased my passion for animals and their well-being. I love to travel, and know that it makes all the difference to leave someone you trust with your critters. My headline includes my vision statement; I endeavor to become a friend to your pet, and while you're away, provide my full presence, my dedicated care, and my joy at being with them. I work at two museums in Albuquerque on weekdays, but live in Bernalillo. I'm a graduate student at UNM, so my class schedule is mostly afternoons right now. My cat's a rather needy fellow, so he's happiest when I'm home. I make sure to make time to spend with him on weekends, mornings, and evenings, and spend time making up for missed cuddles then. I keep his areas very clean, he drinks only from a fountain, and I keep him to a strict feeding schedule (much to his chagrin and occasional break-in attempts of the food container). My frogs, Gus and Markl, need live food once a week and clean water every day, and I maintain a heat lamp schedule for them as well, as well as regular maintenance to their bioactive terrarium. When my parents are out of town, I take care of our two dogs, Lilo and Clara, and nine chickens. The dogs need to be walked, the chickens need to be fed and their eggbox cleaned, and there's lots to do to make sure everyone is comfortable. Lilo's pretty anxious, and Clara's getting up in years, so I make time in my work schedule to return home midday to check on them if I'm out and about. Depending on your pet's needs, I'm flexible in terms of schedule. :) It's important to me that you are confident in your pets' safety and comfort. I will not take dogs outside without a leash, unless they are in a fenced-in yard, and I don't let cats outside unleashed on principle as I believe this makes them a danger to themselves, other cats, and smaller animals. You can expect photos from me of your pets if you'd like them, and if they let me I'll happily clean out eye-boogers, snuggle with them, and ensure that they have love and companionship during the stressful time you're away.

“Onrae is my very first Rover experience. Onrae responded quickly, professionally and was very responsive. I had concerns about my dogs behavior (he can be pretty high energy) Lucky for me Dashy was very well behaved at our meet and greet. After talking with Onrae a few minutes I had no concerns if Dashy did have any behavior issues staying there. When dropping off Dashy, he was excited to go in with the well mannered kids. I had prompt check in the next day. Basiclly Dashy did great and I had no concerned about his well being or about any behavior issues. Onrae is highly experienced and highly recommended. He's a no nonsense guy who seems to really care for dogs and client parents concerns. I will definately be using Onrae in the future!”
