About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, and caring for pets has always been one of the greatest joys in my life. From dogs and cats to horses, birds, fish, and even ferrets, I’ve had the privilege of sharing my days with so many wonderful animals over the years. Right now, I share my home with a lively crew—a sweet senior Husky hybrid who’s 15 years old, a playful 7-month-old Cattle Dog, two affectionate cats (one a sprightly senior of 14 years), and a handful of fish who bring calm and beauty to my space. About: I’ve dog sat for most of my life, I have a love for all dogs and deeply believe dogs are family and should be treated and cared for as such I currently work full time on the weekends so I am usually off on weekdays and would love some company cuddling on the couch or on walks. My partner usually has off on the weekends so someone will always be home to care for your loved one(s). We use this account together. I have a fenced yard and almost a half acre to run around. I currently have four cats of my own and volunteer at the Santa Fe Animal Shelter, where I help make sure every homeless kitty gets the love and attention they deserve. “Maellin was an absolutely wonderful dog sitter; she had excellent communication across the board. Sharing updates and photos of Navi every day. I could tell from the photos that she took such good care of her, Navi was smiling, and really warmed up to Maellin, which she doesn’t do with everyone. It was over the 4th, and Navi was quite nervous about the fireworks. Maellin took every measure to ensure her greatest ease and comfort, bringing her into their bedroom and turning on some background noise to help drown it out. Maellin is also a wonderfully sweet human; she will 100% be my first choice anytime we need care for Navi.”
