He said hi to me, but then was soon snoring loudly. One quick note: given my dog is a largely indoor dog (we do not have a backyard), I did have to clean him off a bit once we got home. Patricia was willing to follow the schedule I provided, and mix my dog's kibble with chicken and rice to finish weaning her back to pure kibble. My dogs get along with Patricia's small dog, Sophie, and enjoy their surroundings during their stay (Patricia has a beautiful patio and spends time with them outside). About: We've owned dogs and cats ourselves over the years but don't currently have our own fur babies. We've been travelling the country doing pet sitting and have LOVED it! We walk through the dog park across the street just to soak up some of that pure positive energy. We'd love to host your fur baby (ies) and give them tons of love and pets. I work from home and my husband is retired, so they will not lack for attention. We live in a spacious condo, so they need to give enough warning to be taken outside, but we're across the street from the dog park and only blocks from the Bosque, so plenty of places to play and walk here. I work from home and have plenty of breaks. My husband is retired. We have tons of time to shower your delightful creatures with love and attention. We walk every day, so easy to take a dog along. It's easy to fit pets into our routine, and it brings us much joy to have creatures to shower with affection. We live in a spacious condo in a secure building. We have plenty of space and light. Dogs would need to give us enough warning to take the elevator downstairs. We live right by a beautiful dog park, another city park, and the Bosque.

About: From birth I have been surrounded by cats, dogs, horses, chickens, goats, and many creatures in between. My dad trained dogs and horses (no such thing as cat training…. If you know, you know) and taught me all he knows. I have fostered and trained puppies and currently have 2 cats of my own who are great with dogs. I am a travel nurse and don’t think the long shifts would be fair to have a dog of my own, otherwise I would! I had to remove all of my bengal’s teeth after an emergency and had to fight a newly adopted bengal to give him his antibiotics and pain meds in forms of pills and drops. I have lived through many animals’s passing from old age so am well versed in senior cares as well. Through my career and life experiences no emergency is too big for me. Your pets activity level will become mine- young or old hearted I am here to hang! I got cats so I could go away for weekends and still hire folks on Rover to come give them love on trips they can’t come cause I feel too bad otherwise. Pets are our babies and alike to humans all have their own personalities. I am super excited to get to know yours and thank you for trusting me with your family members :) I work 12 hour night shifts from 7pm-7am 3 days a week, but my partner works from home so there is always someone to give them love. Off days are spent in the mountains on trails or relaxing around the house. I have a large backyard and 2 cats who are missing a dog to play with or rooms they can safely relax in if your furry friend is not other-pet friendly. I come home to go on a walk and wake up in time to drink some coffee and enjoy some hours before work. I have a high fenced yard. I like to keep the routine the same as their normal, so will rely on your directions on when to feed, exercise, and wind down if there are any specifics. Multiple walks a day during the cooler hours is my favorite way to exercise, and if your pup is social enjoy a good social outing to the local dog park. I like to fish up in the mountains so picnics and splashes in some mountain water is always a dog approved activity in my experience

About: I have lived with at least 2 dogs in my household for the past 20 years. Providing them with the opportunities to live fulfilling and healthy lives has been my priority. Although I am their caregiver, I consider them also to be my teachers. Learning how to communicate with them is the best way to ensure they are happy and calm, and that they feel safe. I am currently retired and spend quite a bit of time at the dog park. My dog and I are mostly inseparable. I take him with me to run errands when I can. It isn't always practical and so he minds the house when I am away. Barney is my only companion, and, even though I'm kind of a loner, Barney is NOT. He is extremely friendly and social and craves the company of other dog;, that factors into my decision to care for other dogs in my home. Barney will help me keep your dog comfortable and happy while in our care. We have a fenced back yard (4 foot). The surrounding properties have no dogs at this time. If your dog can jump a 4 foot fence, this may not be the safest home for him or her.

About: My name is Julia! I’m new to Rover but not new to dog sitting! I have a dog named Dixie. Dixie is a Miniature Australian Shepherd and loves to play! We love to do everything together including car rides, going to the park, stores, walks, games, and enrichment activities! I have raised dogs my whole life but now I have Dixie. I am a huge worrier about leaving my dog with someone so I understand how important it is to have a safe place for your dog while you work or have vacations and that’s what I’m here for! I think it’s important to give dogs their best life possible 🤍 All dogs must be up-to-date on their flea and heartworm medicine. For Daycare: I currently work full time. I am off on Tuesdays so I can take some bookings on Tuesdays. I am pretty open on the weekends. When I go out, I bring Dixie everywhere with me, so I can bring yours too! For Boarding: I can take dogs for boarding, however on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays your dog would have to be crated for about 3-4 hours in the afternoon since no one will be home. Saturday and Sunday boarding I would be home all day! I have a fenced yard with certain areas blocked off that Dixie or other dogs should not go into. My gate is locked. I walk Dixie once or twice a day and play outside with her. I hangout inside when it’s hot out and play inside the house! I always make sure there is water and of course plenty of treats available!

About: We've owned dogs and cats ourselves over the years but don't currently have our own fur babies. We've been travelling the country doing pet sitting and have LOVED it! We walk through the dog park across the street just to soak up some of that pure positive energy. We'd love to host your fur baby (ies) and give them tons of love and pets. I work from home and my husband is retired, so they will not lack for attention. We live in a spacious condo, so they need to give enough warning to be taken outside, but we're across the street from the dog park and only blocks from the Bosque, so plenty of places to play and walk here. I work from home and have plenty of breaks. My husband is retired. We have tons of time to shower your delightful creatures with love and attention. We walk every day, so easy to take a dog along. It's easy to fit pets into our routine, and it brings us much joy to have creatures to shower with affection. We live in a spacious condo in a secure building. We have plenty of space and light. Dogs would need to give us enough warning to take the elevator downstairs. We live right by a beautiful dog park, another city park, and the Bosque.

“Kristle is a gem! I’m very picky about who and where I leave my two dogs. Kristle kept in touch with me multiple times a day, at my request. Her home was clean and tidy and her yard well fenced. When I picked my dogs up from Kristle they were clean, happy and I could tell they had been well kept! I will definitely use Kristle’s services again. She is a precious person!”
“Brandi was an amazing choice when boarding Ace who hadn’t had a lot of time outside of the house. Ace loved her dog Aries and her kids as well! The kids didn’t want Ace to leave and loved on him the whole time, which made me so happy. She also has a lot of experience and taught him a couple new tricks while I was gone. She went above and beyond to learn about Ace and even had him sleep in a bigger crate than the one I brought, to ensure he was happy. Her whole family is the sweetest and I can’t wait to book with her again!!!”

She’s really great with older dogs and let us know that our dogs interesting quarks follow her to her sitters. We rate Celine as a five star because of her flexibility as well as willingness to work with our dogs schedule. We will be rebooking with Celine for future stays!”
“Apollo can be a handful with his anxiety and reactivity, and Bri handled it beautifully. They had a rocky first night, because he kept barking at every small noise. After several hours of this, he had her a bit worried about whether or not she could get him to settle down and sleep. But she stuck with it and got him to calm down and pass out. From there the visit went great. She followed our feeding and medication instructions exactly, worked on some training with him during his stay, and did a nice job with redirecting his attention when he got reactive on walks. Communication was excellent throughout. I received regular photos and updates, and she flagged any concerns as they came up rather than letting them sit. The best sign of how the weekend went: at pickup, Apollo planted himself on and between her feet multiple times while we were talking about how the weekend went. He clearly trusts and adores her, which can be difficult given his anxiety. We'll absolutely be booking with her again!”
