About: From birth I have been surrounded by cats, dogs, horses, chickens, goats, and many creatures in between. My dad trained dogs and horses (no such thing as cat training…. If you know, you know) and taught me all he knows. I have fostered and trained puppies and currently have 2 cats of my own who are great with dogs. I am a travel nurse and don’t think the long shifts would be fair to have a dog of my own, otherwise I would! I had to remove all of my bengal’s teeth after an emergency and had to fight a newly adopted bengal to give him his antibiotics and pain meds in forms of pills and drops. I have lived through many animals’s passing from old age so am well versed in senior cares as well. Through my career and life experiences no emergency is too big for me. Your pets activity level will become mine- young or old hearted I am here to hang! I got cats so I could go away for weekends and still hire folks on Rover to come give them love on trips they can’t come cause I feel too bad otherwise. Pets are our babies and alike to humans all have their own personalities. I am super excited to get to know yours and thank you for trusting me with your family members :) I work 12 hour night shifts from 7pm-7am 3 days a week, but my partner works from home so there is always someone to give them love. Off days are spent in the mountains on trails or relaxing around the house. I have a large backyard and 2 cats who are missing a dog to play with or rooms they can safely relax in if your furry friend is not other-pet friendly. I come home to go on a walk and wake up in time to drink some coffee and enjoy some hours before work. I have a high fenced yard. I like to keep the routine the same as their normal, so will rely on your directions on when to feed, exercise, and wind down if there are any specifics. About: My name is Julia! I’m new to Rover but not new to dog sitting! I have a dog named Dixie. Dixie is a Miniature Australian Shepherd and loves to play! We love to do everything together including car rides, going to the park, stores, walks, games, and enrichment activities! I have raised dogs my whole life but now I have Dixie. I am a huge worrier about leaving my dog with someone so I understand how important it is to have a safe place for your dog while you work or have vacations and that’s what I’m here for! I think it’s important to give dogs their best life possible 🤍 All dogs must be up-to-date on their flea and heartworm medicine. For Daycare: I currently work full time. I am off on Tuesdays so I can take some bookings on Tuesdays. I am pretty open on the weekends. When I go out, I bring Dixie everywhere with me, so I can bring yours too! For Boarding: I can take dogs for boarding, however on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays your dog would have to be crated for about 3-4 hours in the afternoon since no one will be home. Saturday and Sunday boarding I would be home all day! I have a fenced yard with certain areas blocked off that Dixie or other dogs should not go into. My gate is locked. I walk Dixie once or twice a day and play outside with her. I hangout inside when it’s hot out and play inside the house! I always make sure there is water and of course plenty of treats available!

About: Mostly I’ve taken care of dogs and cats, including seniors, pups and kittens. I am sensitive to and will want to get them care if an emergency arises. I love to love them all. Presently I am flexible to meet pet parent needs. I do need 1 day notice for planning 🙂 and ensuring I am prepared for your pets. Presently I am able to provides services at your home only ( except for very young puppies and kittens who can stay with me if needed) -in your home I’m most familiar with cats and dogs. I am glad to keep your pets environment fresh during visits including waste clean up, hair brush or deshedding with your tools, refresh food, water bowls as needed. I will have non-toxic cleaners for hard surfaces if needed.

“Laura and her partner have a large and nice outdoor space for the dogs! When my elderly but high energy dog, Dimitri, went to stay with them, he promptly became part of their pack! Laura sent me pictures of him going on walks with the other dogs on the trail by her house. I can tell he was very active while he was there because when I picked him up, he was out! He said hi to me, but then was soon snoring loudly. One quick note: given my dog is a largely indoor dog (we do not have a backyard), I did have to clean him off a bit once we got home. But I can tell overall he had a great time!”

This time, when I was getting Buddy’s things together to go over there, I told him he was going to see them, and he got super-excited and ran to the door repeatedly! He even jumped in the car before it was time for us to head over there! Pretty safe to say that Buddy loves being with them, and that makes us happy!”

“Kristle is a gem! I’m very picky about who and where I leave my two dogs. Kristle kept in touch with me multiple times a day, at my request. Her home was clean and tidy and her yard well fenced. When I picked my dogs up from Kristle they were clean, happy and I could tell they had been well kept! I will definitely use Kristle’s services again. She is a precious person!”
