My dogs get along with Patricia's small dog, Sophie, and enjoy their surroundings during their stay (Patricia has a beautiful patio and spends time with them outside). My pup is the love of my life and, as are most dog moms, I have VERY picky about who watches him when I cannot. He is always excited and happy to see me after a sit, but he is equally excited when I ask him if he wants to go see “Aunt Shell.” Shell treats all her dog visitors as if they are her own - her love for dogs is as bright and caring as the New Mexican sun! Our dog Jazz had her first day with them both and she was raving about how great of a day she had…right before she passed out! She was so happy when I picked her up (and was happy when she was first dropped off). No doubt that our pup, with her separation anxiety, didn’t experience ANY anxiety today. About: I mostly have experience with medium to larger dogs. I love going on walks so I will take pets along for the journey. I grew up with bulldogs and I’ve personally owned German Shepards and Huskies. I am currently in between jobs and preparing for a certification test for signed language interpreting. I have plenty of free time for pets and love to get out and about like going for walks, hikes and enjoying the sun. I have a private small patio with many dogs parks in my apartment complex. Also close to my apartment is a golf course that is a clear and safe walk for fur babies. I can crate your dog if needed (: they are allowed on furniture to make them feel like home!

“I thought Maellen was terrific. A few days before our cruise, Lili, our corgi had to be fitted with "the cone of shame" for a skin condition. I contacted Maellen to see if this would create a problem and offered to find another sitter but Maellen said it would be fine. She treated the skin condition twice a day took excellent care of Lili for the 7 day cruise. Lili obviously had a great time and was in excellent condition.
