About: Volunteered at a vet clinic & pet sat for friends and family & discovered the joy of comforting pets when they're feeling anxious and home sick. I am pursuing a master's in computer science at UNM, and my schedule can be flexible. I will be home for the most part, but if I ever need to step away it's only for a couple hours. My boyfriend and I work as a team in caring for our dogs, and we do the same for our clients. It's normal for your pet to feel homesick, so we do our best to make them feel like they are at home and give them the quality time and affection they are used to from their loved ones ❤️ Baxter is 9 yo pit mix & Chiqui is an 8 yo Pomeranian/chihuahu. We have a small fenced yard and a kennel that Baxter uses for whenever we have to leave the house to run errands. We typically ask clients to bring their pet's bed or crate/kennel and a blanket or toy they like to cuddle with to remind them of home 🤍 If you could also pack their food, food bowl, and leash for their stay, that would be great! 🐾

About: My name is Julia! I’m new to Rover but not new to dog sitting! I have a dog named Dixie. Dixie is a Miniature Australian Shepherd and loves to play! We love to do everything together including car rides, going to the park, stores, walks, games, and enrichment activities! I have raised dogs my whole life but now I have Dixie. I am a huge worrier about leaving my dog with someone so I understand how important it is to have a safe place for your dog while you work or have vacations and that’s what I’m here for! I think it’s important to give dogs their best life possible 🤍 All dogs must be up-to-date on their flea and heartworm medicine. For Daycare: I currently work full time. I am off on Tuesdays so I can take some bookings on Tuesdays. I am pretty open on the weekends. When I go out, I bring Dixie everywhere with me, so I can bring yours too! For Boarding: I can take dogs for boarding, however on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays your dog would have to be crated for about 3-4 hours in the afternoon since no one will be home. Saturday and Sunday boarding I would be home all day! I have a fenced yard with certain areas blocked off that Dixie or other dogs should not go into. My gate is locked. I walk Dixie once or twice a day and play outside with her. I hangout inside when it’s hot out and play inside the house! I always make sure there is water and of course plenty of treats available!

About: I have trained and raised family dogs growing up. My family loves doberman's so I have a lot of experience with bigger dogs as well as medium more energetic dogs like German shorthaired pointers. “Brandi was an amazing choice when boarding Ace who hadn’t had a lot of time outside of the house. Ace loved her dog Aries and her kids as well! The kids didn’t want Ace to leave and loved on him the whole time, which made me so happy. She also has a lot of experience and taught him a couple new tricks while I was gone. She went above and beyond to learn about Ace and even had him sleep in a bigger crate than the one I brought, to ensure he was happy. Her whole family is the sweetest and I can’t wait to book with her again!!!”

“Benjamin was so wonderful! He was super responsive and stayed in communication with us while we were away. Our younger dog Kewpie stayed with him while we were out of town for a couple days- we were anxious about leaving Kewpie for the first time but Benjamin reassured us, sent us many cute photos, and we felt secure knowing our lil guy was in capable hands. Benjamin also made drop off and pick up easy and swift. It was altogether a great experience and we will definitely be reaching back out to Benjamin when we are in need of future dog care.”
