“I thought Maellen was terrific. A few days before our cruise, Lili, our corgi had to be fitted with "the cone of shame" for a skin condition. I contacted Maellen to see if this would create a problem and offered to find another sitter but Maellen said it would be fine. She treated the skin condition twice a day took excellent care of Lili for the 7 day cruise. Lili obviously had a great time and was in excellent condition. She did not seem to be in a big hurry to leave so I know she liked it. THANK YOU, MAELLEN.”

My dogs get along with Patricia's small dog, Sophie, and enjoy their surroundings during their stay (Patricia has a beautiful patio and spends time with them outside). About: Before college, I was the primary caregiver for my family’s dog, Max—handling everything from daily walks and feeding to bathing, training, and playtime tailored to his pace and personality. That hands-on experience taught me how to read a dog’s needs and build trust through consistency and care. “I met Elaine and her doggies about a year ago. My dogs finally stayed at her house for four nights last month, and then for one day last week. My dogs had already met her dogs a year ago, and when they met up again, they were like old pals. No growling or hassling. It was perfect! I got daily updates and pictures from Elaine. About: I have lived with at least 2 dogs in my household for the past 20 years. Providing them with the opportunities to live fulfilling and healthy lives has been my priority. Although I am their caregiver, I consider them also to be my teachers. Learning how to communicate with them is the best way to ensure they are happy and calm, and that they feel safe. I am currently retired and spend quite a bit of time at the dog park. My dog and I are mostly inseparable. I take him with me to run errands when I can. It isn't always practical and so he minds the house when I am away. Barney is my only companion, and, even though I'm kind of a loner, Barney is NOT. He is extremely friendly and social and craves the company of other dog;, that factors into my decision to care for other dogs in my home. Barney will help me keep your dog comfortable and happy while in our care. We have a fenced back yard (4 foot). The surrounding properties have no dogs at this time. If your dog can jump a 4 foot fence, this may not be the safest home for him or her.

About: I have had animals my whole life, and have worked in the pet industry for 6 years. My day job experience has been at 2 different local pet food stores, where I’ve learned a lot about the needs of dogs and cats, as well as body language. About: I currently work as an animal protection officer for the City of Albuquerque animal welfare department. I'm can handle energetic pets with high physical activity needs. They took him on walks and just treated him with so much love. When we picked him up they said if he wasn’t in such a loving home they would want to keep him. They went beyond out expectations. We look forward to his next stay.”

“My dog and I met Cindy and her dog before we boarded with her for the first time. It was apparent right away that she was capable of providing a good, caring home environment for my dog. I felt very comfortabke knowing he would be in the best place away from home. My 12 year old dog takes daily meds that were adminustered properly. He ate his meals,was abke to go into the yard and enjoyed her glass front door to look out. I highly recommend Cindy as a dog sitter and have booked our next visit She is the type of person you can feel confident leaving your beloved pets with.”

“Kristle is a gem! I’m very picky about who and where I leave my two dogs. Kristle kept in touch with me multiple times a day, at my request. Her home was clean and tidy and her yard well fenced.
