I’m Celine, an artist living in Albuquerque who loves helping people care for their pets. Pet sitting has been a meaningful way for me to support my art practice while spending time with wonderful animals. I grew up with dogs, had a plott hound named Lucy, and have been pet sitting for many years, first for friends and now regularly on Rover. I’m comfortable with a range of personalities and focus on creating a calm, secure environment for each dog. - I board only one dog at a time, ensuring your pet receives my full attention in a peaceful space with no other animals or children. I’m open to occasional exceptions for small dogs from the same household so they can stay together. I have a fenced yard and provide regular daily walks so your dog gets plenty of safe outdoor time and enrichment. - My partner Randy also lives with me. He is a wildland firefighter and is often away for extended periods. When he is home, he enjoys spending time with the dogs, but I am the primary caregiver and handle all daily care and communication. - I send regular updates with photos so you can feel connected and reassured while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your dog! - Policies & Requirements: I require a meet and greet for all new clients. During this meeting, I assess whether the dog is a good fit and observe how they respond to new people. Please share any behavioral concerns or important details at that time. - If a dog is extremely high energy, has never been left alone without their owner, or shows signs of anxiety, I may request a trial daycare stay before approving a longer booking or overnight stay. - Because I am often fully booked, I may schedule meet and greets during an active boarding. The dog I’m boarding is always safely separated, and I don’t allow dogs to meet or interact. - I accept bookings on a first-come, first-served basis. A stay is not confirmed or reserved until it has been paid for and officially accepted through Rover. - For boarding stays, please bring everything your dog needs from home, including food, bowls, medications, toys, treats, crate (if crate trained and used to sleeping or spending time in a crate), bed, leash, and poop bags. I work from home as an artist and illustrator. My schedule is fairly flexible, which will ensure that I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pet. Though I am at home most of the time, I do occasionally have to step out for 1-6 hours at a time for meetings and other errands. I take measures to make their time alone as stress-free as possible, providing toys and treats to occupy them. I prioritize safety through close supervision and clear communication with owners. I will take extra care to follow any instructions you have for feeding and administering medication, ensuring they get the care they need.

About: Growing up there was never really a time when I wasn’t surrounded by them animals. So I learned pretty early on how to properly take care of animals from my parents who used to foster them. I have walked, boarded, dog sat and etc for the last few years and have taken care of both senior pups to baby pups both big and small bred. Some breeds I have watched after are pitbulls, poodles, yellow labs, shitzu’s and a few others. Growing up with animals I have definitely grown a huge love and care for them and is one of my favorite things to do. When watching someone's animal I like to make sure I know all the rules, and any extra specifications they may have for their pet, like medications or any special daily tasks or notes. I also like to make sure I reassure the owners and let them know that they are leaving their pets in well-experienced hands by keeping them updated on everything as they’re away. I think what sets me apart from other sitters is my comfortability with animals whether they are huge or tiny and I think my love, truly caring, experience and availability also makes me an easier choice. And would be honored to help someone out with their pets! I’m currently working early mornings, Monday through Friday and have weekends off but because I work so early I’m able to take care and watch after pets during day till evening time As of right now, I’m unable to board pets at my place. But if I'm at the owner's house taking care their pets, I make sure to follow the instructions they left for me, as well as respect their home while I am staying in it. I also make to play and take the animals for walks or anything extra that the owner would like me to do with their pets.
About: I have had cats and dogs around since I was a child. I have been boarding for almost 2 years, and walking/doing check-ins for nearly 8 years. I started out doing walks to help fill my want for pets. But now that I have two of my own, I realized this is something I really love doing and it is always a joy to meet other peoples' fur babies. In my home, I do have one other dog who LOVES to play and gets along with every animal and human he meets. I have a scaredy cat, and a handful of kiddos who I have taught animal etiquette to since they were all babies. We have cared for the smallest dogs to the largest. We have had older dogs, puppies, dogs recovering from surgery, and females in heat (although not at the moment until our puppy is fixed). We love your babies like they are our own, and love to be able to take them with us if we ever go on any adventures while they are here (of course, with permission!) I am a stay at home mom, so I am home the majority of the day to care for any animals in my home. My kids are AMAZING with animals, as I have taught lots of animal etiquette over the years caring for animals -- and now that we have our own fur babies too. In my home, we just treat your fur babies like one of our own. We give them lots of attention, play time, walk time, etc. I also incorporate your schedules with ours (ie feeding, etc). If there are any special requests, I fulfill those needs. When I go to a clients home, I respect everything around me and be as gentle and careful as to make sure that the fur babies are comfortable with me in their home.

On Tuesday and Thursday, I have class from 9:30am-10:45am and 2:00pm-3:15pm so I am available between those times and the rest of the day after 3:15pm. On Monday I have class from 10am-10:50am, 2pm-2:50pm, and 6:20pm-9:30pm so I am available between those times. this will update every semester. I only provide care in my client’s home so pets can stay comfortable in their normal environment and routine. I follow your instructions closely—feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any specific habits your dog has. I make sure dogs get plenty of attention, exercise, and supervision while keeping their routine as consistent as possible. That includes regular walks, playtime, and bathroom breaks. While staying in your home, I treat it with respect—keeping things clean, bringing in mail/packages, and making sure everything is secure. I’m reliable with timing and always show up when expected. I also send regular updates with photos so you know your pet is doing well and you don’t have to worry while you’re away.

About: I've had large dogs since I was born and when I was young I remember going outside and feeding them with my mom and giving them treats. Now I have two small dogs I've had for 10 years that I trained myself, they know pretty much every basic command plus some that are more advanced. I also groom them myself such as brushing and bathing. I love walking my dogs and getting out of the house and getting fresh air, it always tires them out so they can sleep throughout the night. I'm available full time since I left Amazon in Feb. I will be able to give dogs or cats my full attention all day and night. I can take them out for walks or even give them outdoor time in my yard. “Maellin was an absolutely wonderful dog sitter; she had excellent communication across the board. Sharing updates and photos of Navi every day. I could tell from the photos that she took such good care of her, Navi was smiling, and really warmed up to Maellin, which she doesn’t do with everyone. It was over the 4th, and Navi was quite nervous about the fireworks. Maellin took every measure to ensure her greatest ease and comfort, bringing her into their bedroom and turning on some background noise to help drown it out. Maellin is also a wonderfully sweet human; she will 100% be my first choice anytime we need care for Navi.”

“Chad provides a safe environment! My dog got along with his dog right away, which doesn’t always happen. The dogs have a great big backyard to play in, they don’t go for walks normally. Mentioning because if you want that you need to talk to Chad to arrange it. Chad agreed not to crate my dog which is good because he hasn’t been in a crate in years, and Max seems in good health when I picked him up, moved pretty good for a senior dog.”

Alexandria is so kind and even let me hug her and thank her for being like family to myself and my dog when I picked him up on day 44. I could go on all day about how wonderful she, her husband, and her kids were to my dog. I am so happy that I knew he was in good hands while I was away for such a long period of time. “Leigh did a great job! My pup Rocky and I were new to Santa Fe and I needed to take a 6 day trip out of town. After reviewing several pet sitters on Rover.com I reached out to several. Leigh had great reviews and repeat customers. She was willing to have my pup in her home, along with her dog and cat. Everything went very well. She provided regular updates, photos, and even dog park video. I was pleased how well my dog did during his stay. It was obvious Leigh loves animals and makes them feel comfortable while in her care.
