About: I mostly have experience with medium to larger dogs. I love going on walks so I will take pets along for the journey. I grew up with bulldogs and I’ve personally owned German Shepards and Huskies. I am currently in between jobs and preparing for a certification test for signed language interpreting. I have plenty of free time for pets and love to get out and about like going for walks, hikes and enjoying the sun. I have a private small patio with many dogs parks in my apartment complex. Also close to my apartment is a golf course that is a clear and safe walk for fur babies. I can crate your dog if needed (: they are allowed on furniture to make them feel like home!
About: Me and my husband got our rescue dog in 2021. We were able to make him adapt our lifestyle and trust us and helped him with anxiety issues from separations and some random environmental triggers. Our dog is sweet and gentle, we were able to train him for 10+ tricks and be gentle to small and or young creatures. I also volunteer at Animal humane NM to help dogs getting comfortable with human interactions and building confidence I work hybrid so not every week days are wfh at the moment. We walk our dog twice a day and we have a big dog park and field that might fit for different dog needs. We have a back yard so dogs can play there as well Our house is on a quiet street with back yard fenced. Super nice area with big dog park and fields. I do well with dogs and cats of all ages and activity levels. I have two senior dogs and one young dog full of energy. “While I appreciate Rover providing me with alternative dog sitters when I book with Shell Segura, if Shell is not available, I change my plans. My pup is the love of my life and, as are most dog moms, I have VERY picky about who watches him when I cannot. He is always excited and happy to see me after a sit, but he is equally excited when I ask him if he wants to go see “Aunt Shell.” Shell treats all her dog visitors as if they are her own - her love for dogs is as bright and caring as the New Mexican sun! Her physical layout is ideal for every dog’s personality, be they into group play or want to be by themselves. Multiple doggie doors, a large yard to run, ample shade and water, and more love in Shell’s heart than can almost be imagined. If you demand the very best for your dog(s), please arrange for a meet-and-greet. My dog is always looking for new friends! Thank you, Shell, for all the love and care for my boy!”
