About: I have lived with at least 2 dogs in my household for the past 20 years. Providing them with the opportunities to live fulfilling and healthy lives has been my priority. Although I am their caregiver, I consider them also to be my teachers. Learning how to communicate with them is the best way to ensure they are happy and calm, and that they feel safe. I am currently retired and spend quite a bit of time at the dog park. My dog and I are mostly inseparable. I take him with me to run errands when I can. It isn't always practical and so he minds the house when I am away. Barney is my only companion, and, even though I'm kind of a loner, Barney is NOT. He is extremely friendly and social and craves the company of other dog;, that factors into my decision to care for other dogs in my home. Barney will help me keep your dog comfortable and happy while in our care. We have a fenced back yard (4 foot). The surrounding properties have no dogs at this time. If your dog can jump a 4 foot fence, this may not be the safest home for him or her.
“Michael watched our fur baby for 13 days. She is approx. 14 yrs old, and we were worried about leaving her for such a long period of time. Michael's calm and easy demeanor was reassurance that she would be fine. She does not get along with other animals and as the only pet Michael watched he was able to provide her with individual attention. He sent photos daily, which we greatly appreciated. We will definitely use his services again. Michael, thank you for taking such good care of our family member!”

“Doug did a great job taking care of my German Shepherd's. I have never used this app before and he eased my mind by sending me updates and pictures. The dogs came back home, healthy, and happy.”

“Benjamin was fantastic. The pups had a great time. He kept us updated was easy to work with. Highly recommend. He did a great job and James and June enjoyed their stay.”

“Dahlia seemed to have a great time while there. Chad was great with some photos and updates. He was also very kind and flexible which was greatly appreciated. Dahlia came home healthy and in good spirits. I'm sure she'd be thrilled to go back for some playtime in the future, though!”

“The pups LOVED Anne and can hardly wait to go back! You can tell she loves dogs. We were in ABQ for the Balloon Fiesta and realized that I had left the dog's bag with their food and food bowls in it at home when I went to drop off the pups. She had spare food for them to eat and even a spare leash to take Penny and Baxter for a walk, because I forgot that, too! First time ever I have done that, but Anne is prepared for every catastrophe a pet owner could have, with multiple leashes, bowls, and yes, even food available for pets. He house is like a luxury pet resort. Makes me wish I was a dog so I could have stayed with her!”

“Marilee is absolutely wonderful and our two cats obviously adore her. She was diligent in her care of them and in providing updates. She fed them, scooped litter boxes, and played with them. I had forgotten a couple of small details before leaving and she reassured me that she would take care of things. She has a great sense of humor, puts out really good vibes, and is like the good neighbor you wish you had. Marilee made me feel confident that everyone and everything would be fine while we were away, and it was! I will definitely book with Marilee again.”

“This was the first time Eden watched our cat. But it won’t be the last. She did an excellent job. Callie was well taken care of. Eden sent photos and communicated with us everyday.”

“Lauren was incredible. Flexible hours, safe yard, and a lot of love given to our fur baby. We're visiting the area and our dog having a safe and fun place to stay while we went to the amusement park meant us having a great time too. Thank you Lauren!!”

“Melinda was wonderful! She was very friendly and knowledgeable about dogs and dog behavior, and that put us much more at ease. Our dog is deaf, so it’s always a little stressful having him stay with someone else for the first time, but he had an amazing time, and we would absolutely book with Melinda again!”

“Holly and Robert were fantastic! They responded quickly, took him last minute and they had other dogs that my dog loved playing with. I will be going to them again.”

“Cindy was great with my 2 year old baby. I sent Sandia for my 12 hour shifts and Cindy was flexible with pick up and drop off times. I got lots of picture updates. Sandia loved playing in the backyard with Cindy’s other dogs. She was so at ease during drop-offs, giving me peace of mind that she felt safe in Cindy’s home. Thanks again :)”

“Thank you so much for taking care of the boys while we were in Albuquerque for the day. I wish you were closer so we had a reliable sitter in Denver. The pictures helped us through out the day know that the boys were safe and having fun too! Look us up if you're ever in Colorado. Ve”

“Josie, her husband, and Paco took great care of my Pip while we were vacationing in ABQ. Having Pip go over to her house allowed us to get some hikes, bike rides, and brunches in without having to worry is our young, energetic dog was being destructive or bored at the Airbnb. Highly recommend, and will definitely request Josie again when we return.”

“We are delighted with the care Peter provided Oliver. Oliver loved going to doggie daycare at Peter’s, in particular all of the outings he went on. We will definitely call on Peter to watch Oliver in the future. Thank you.”

“Wonderful communication. Stella is thriving in environment. Really helping her to keep up her dog socialization and to get more comfortable with humans.”

“Michael was very helpful and accommodating. I believe he did his best with Rocco to keep him occupied. Rocco has separation anxiety, but Michael made the efforts to gain his trust in a limited timeframe. We were very appreciative with his services!”

“I met Elaine and her doggies about a year ago. My dogs finally stayed at her house for four nights last month, and then for one day last week. My dogs had already met her dogs a year ago, and when they met up again, they were like old pals. No growling or hassling. It was perfect! I got daily updates and pictures from Elaine. It was so comforting! And my dogs did great at her house and with her dogs, and it was just the best! I booked a full-day stay last week, and they were literally going INSANE when we were driving into her neighborhood. That tells me a lot about their experience there! They love going to Elaine's house! Our next booking is during the Christmas-New Year's Eve time frame, and my dogs are already so excited, and Elaine has let me know that so is she, and she's gearing her doggies up for a week-long visit :-) My neighbors/friends that used to keep them all the time are moving back to NJ, so this is exactly what I needed at this time in my life. I feel completely comfortable leaving my dogs at Elaine's, whether it's for a day or a week! This is the best thing EVER!!!!”

“Sarah has been so great taking care of Nalia. Nalia and Prince get along very well, and I really appreciated Sarah taking the time before our first doggy day care day to make sure they were a good fit. She has been incredibly flexible with my schedule and Nalia always comes back happy and sleepy!”

“Jason is great! My pups love going to his house for daycare. They are older and its always hard to find a place where they are comfortable like they are at home, but they are always excited whenever I drop them off!”

About: I work remotely and am available to provide personalized care for your pup. I can help provide some training or grooming services. I have a large yard where your pup can sunbathe and enjoy some fun in the sun. If your dog requires other services such as walking or socializing, I can help provide that as well. I am a remote worker and when I am not traveling for work, I am available 7 days a week to provide personalized care for your pup. I have a secure yard, with a separate fenced dog run. I can provide a comfy crate for your pup (I recommend bringing bedding from home so they have a familiar scent while you are away) or whatever personalized space they require. In my cozy home, pets are allowed on the couch and furniture.

“Toast had the best day at daycare with Kathy and the crew! She took the time to make my slow to warm up pup feel right at home. I really appreciated the pupdates thought out the day and the fact she got to go out on a hike (a favorite activity of hers). About: I've been petsitting since 2012, including dogs, cats, exotic birds, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs. I am experienced with special needs animals, elderlies, and those recovering from surgery. I've completed over 100 volunteer hours walking shelter dogs. I am comfortable working with some behavioral challenges. Completed training: 2026 Fear Free Shelters program “Play Groups, Meet-and-Greets, and Dog Fight Response Training.” 2025 “Advanced Dog Walker Training" “Calming Canines Training" 2024 “Safe Dog Walker Training" I started volunteering at vet clinics in 2006, and I've been volunteering at spay/neuter events since 2016. Some of my photos are from those. Please note that I am not representing any organization. I work from home and I make my own schedule. I wake up before 6 am so I am available early. Helping out with pets is my favorite thing to do! Outside the home or your fenced yard, dogs will be on-leash and distanced from other animals and people. I do not mix animals from different homes.
About: I had a lot of cats and dogs growing up, and I was the neighborhood dog sitter basically from the time I could ride a bike until I left for college. I know for many people today their pets are a furry part of the family, so I would treat them with the same love and care I give my cats and dobies, and make sure your animals are genuinely cared for while you are away. I know what it means to be a good and responsible sitter, and I can guarantee if you trust me with your pets you will not regret it! I'm offering drop-in sitting and dog walking, and I cannot wait to have the opportunity to meet your pets. I work full time, but am available outside of standard working hours to spend plenty of time with your pups! I have pets of my own so I know how important it is to spend time with them & make sure they are happy while you are away. When caring for pets, I always make sure to guarantee they have a comfortable and clean environment as well as plenty of play time (for their benefit & because I just love dogs!)

I love animals of all sizes and have all the time in the world to care for them. I do not currently have a job- I am a college student doing this over the summer. I can spend all day and potentially if needed all night with your animals! I do not have a car so I can't drive them places but I am happy to go for walks with them! I will spend all day with your animals! I'm good at keeping to schedules, but I might spoil your animals just a little. I'm good at cleaning up after animals and I have lots of patience for whatever quirks your pet has!

Every animal has their own personality/quirks, and I take time to build trust and make them feel safe, in whatever this may be. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding routines, or cuddle time, I treat every furry friend as a family member 🐶💛🎃🐈⬛ I am a part-time student so I will have lots of time to keep them on their routines and daily activities! “Gabriel was awesome! I request Gabriel walk my Winston when I was in a pinch. He took my guy on a walk and was very patient with waiting for him to potty (the whole reason for the walk). He kept in communication with me and asked for any tips that might help my pup. If the situation ever arises again I will be sure to schedule with Gabriel!”

About: I’ve been a pet owner all my life, not only have I cared/owned dogs, but cats and reptiles too! I love all animals and have cared for special needs and elderly dogs. I am currently working part time in the Army and I’m a full time college student. The flexibility with my schedule leaves me with a lot of availability for your fur babies! I specialize in house sittings so that your pup is still comfortable and in a familiar environment. I have no problem tending to your pups day to day schedule and needs. This of course includes, walks, specific dinner times, and whatever other needs your dog may have. I only take one sitting at a time to ensure your pups receive my undivided attention and pristine service!
About: Before college, I was the primary caregiver for my family’s dog, Max—handling everything from daily walks and feeding to bathing, training, and playtime tailored to his pace and personality. That hands-on experience taught me how to read a dog’s needs and build trust through consistency and care. I’ve also cared for multiple pets through prior sitting experiences, including three dogs of different sizes and three cats, so I’m comfortable adapting to a variety of temperaments, routines, and energy levels. While in college, I’ve continued growing my experience by volunteering with a local shelter’s Doggy Day Out program, taking dogs on walks, hikes, and special outings to give them enrichment and a break from the shelter environment. These experiences have strengthened my ability to care for pets with patience, attentiveness, and genuine enthusiasm. I am currently a student at UNM and working part time, so my evenings are relatively free during the week. Friday afternoons - Sunday mornings are the best time for me to hangout with your pet and care for them full time. Your pet’s happiness, safety, and comfort will always be my top priority. I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise, affection, and attention—whether that means long walks, playtime, or just lots of love and cuddles. If you choose house sitting, your pet won’t just be cared for—they’ll have a constant companion who keeps their routine consistent and stress-free. I also love taking pets on little adventures, like trips to nearby parks, to keep them engaged and happy. For your peace of mind, I’m happy to provide daily updates with photos and messages, so you always know your pet is safe, relaxed, and having a great time.

“Jessi was wonderful with my doggies. She was detailed about how they settled and about any behavior changes. She played and cuddle with them. I'm happy she was taking care of every detail to make them comfortable. Thank you! You are great.”

“We could not be more grateful to have found Marlena for our first River experience! Especially on a last minute notice! Leaving our doggos with someone new is always a bit stressful, but she instantly won them (& us) over & treated our dogs like her own. Throughout the stay (overnight plus additional hours), Marlena was incredibly sincere & honest with us about how our dogs were doing. She provided detailed updates, photos & videos, we so appreciated her open communication. It gave us complete peace of mind knowing our dogs were in such a safe, capable, & loving hands. Our dogs just loved her so much. We will absolutely be booking with Marlena again!”
