From the start, she was so accommodating and kind, and she even met with us for two walks before Azula’s stay, which made a huge difference in helping us feel comfortable. I have very detailed (and sometimes neurotic) instructions when it comes to my dog, and Hossanna never once made me feel bad about that. She was patient, understanding, and clearly cared about doing things right for Azula. About: I had a lot of cats and dogs growing up, and I was the neighborhood dog sitter basically from the time I could ride a bike until I left for college. I know for many people today their pets are a furry part of the family, so I would treat them with the same love and care I give my cats and dobies, and make sure your animals are genuinely cared for while you are away. About: Before college, I was the primary caregiver for my family’s dog, Max—handling everything from daily walks and feeding to bathing, training, and playtime tailored to his pace and personality. That hands-on experience taught me how to read a dog’s needs and build trust through consistency and care. About: Since starting with Rover I have gone from a pet "empty-nester" and working part time, to finding my own rescue dogs and not working outside the home at all! I'm looking for dogs that fill my house with joy and who I can pamper, and walk, and play and just hang out with. Most days I'll be available to spend quality one-on-one time with your dog. I've got a great fenced and gated back yard with sun and shade, a house that is pet friendly, and a neighborhood that is full of parks and sidewalks for leisurely walks. I'm looking for well-behaved and socialized dogs. I don't want them to dig, bark excessively, pee in the house, or be aggressive - even a little. I'm an experienced dog sitter who has been working with Rover since 2016, and I've been a dog and cat owner for over 30 years. My caring for your dog will include finding out what they want and are used to, and making sure they receive it, so they will feel happy and safe. I will be home most of the days that your pet is staying with me. We will take walks and they will be able to go in and out of the house as they desire. I'm also known for being available for ball fetch and tug of war! I have a fenced in yard and a house that is safe for animals of all sizes. If your pet is crate trained please bring their crate, and don't forget their bed, which will be their comfort zone at night. My dog enjoys visitors and is not possessive about her space, toys or food. I'm focused on pet care, and generally don't leave the dogs alone more than a couple of hours at a stretch. The household rises early and it's lights out by 9 PM. My back yard is enclosed with a wall and two gates. I live in a residential area and it is quiet and peaceful inside and out and I am able to keep the dogs separated from doors to the outside should we be welcoming four-legged or two-legged guests.
“I met Elaine and her doggies about a year ago. My dogs finally stayed at her house for four nights last month, and then for one day last week. My dogs had already met her dogs a year ago, and when they met up again, they were like old pals. No growling or hassling. It was perfect! I got daily updates and pictures from Elaine. It was so comforting! And my dogs did great at her house and with her dogs, and it was just the best! I booked a full-day stay last week, and they were literally going INSANE when we were driving into her neighborhood. That tells me a lot about their experience there! About: I have lived with at least 2 dogs in my household for the past 20 years. Providing them with the opportunities to live fulfilling and healthy lives has been my priority. Although I am their caregiver, I consider them also to be my teachers. Learning how to communicate with them is the best way to ensure they are happy and calm, and that they feel safe. I am currently retired and spend quite a bit of time at the dog park. My dog and I are mostly inseparable. I take him with me to run errands when I can. It isn't always practical and so he minds the house when I am away. Barney is my only companion, and, even though I'm kind of a loner, Barney is NOT. He is extremely friendly and social and craves the company of other dog;, that factors into my decision to care for other dogs in my home. Barney will help me keep your dog comfortable and happy while in our care. We have a fenced back yard (4 foot). The surrounding properties have no dogs at this time. If your dog can jump a 4 foot fence, this may not be the safest home for him or her.

About: I work remotely and am available to provide personalized care for your pup. I can help provide some training or grooming services. I have a large yard where your pup can sunbathe and enjoy some fun in the sun. If your dog requires other services such as walking or socializing, I can help provide that as well. I am a remote worker and when I am not traveling for work, I am available 7 days a week to provide personalized care for your pup. I have a secure yard, with a separate fenced dog run. I can provide a comfy crate for your pup (I recommend bringing bedding from home so they have a familiar scent while you are away) or whatever personalized space they require. I do have two small rescue dogs of my own and if your dog doesn't want to socialize, I can keep them separated or allow for playtime if your pup would like to meet new friends. In my cozy home, pets are allowed on the couch and furniture.

Currently I am available on week nights after 4pm, and weekends, yet I retire very soon so will have time to attend during the week days. My home is very comfortable and there is enough space for pets to have room to explore. I have a fenced front and back yard. I also have a cooled sunroom that will also be available for summer or windy days.
About: I have lifelong experience with animal companions, and many years of experience caring for other people’s furry friends! I have experience with special needs animal companions, high needs breeds such as Great Pyrenees and dachshunds, and multi pet households. I am in grad school and very flexible with my time! I am free weekends and all weekdays after 3 pm, as well as most of the day Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I believe that our animal companions experience the full spectrum of emotion and sensation, and I treat our animal friends with as much respect, care and compassion as I do our human ones.
About: Personally trained and cared for 30+ dogs. Proud owner of a German Shepherd named Blitzen and I've cared for multiple pets at the same time over the years. I firmly believe exercise is necessary for happy owners and pets alike. Leadership never turns off. I live off a simple and disciplined schedule. I'm almost always up before 05:00 with the exception of weekends and the first things I do as part of my morning routine is let the dogs out, meditate, and then take my dog Blitzen for a run. I have a large backyard that is enclosed by walls. Every pup I house I exercise, as it's important for their mental health (and mine), and it helps them acclimate to a new environment. I've trained multiple dogs and I'm adapted to recognizing and preventing unwanted fights and scenarios of that nature. I care for all pets in the same manner and typically follow leadership strategies recommended by Cesar Milan & Don Sullivan such as implementing rules, boundaries, and limitations as well as showing affection at the appropriate time so as not to encourage nervous and aggressive energy. Dogs have been a large part of my well-being and happiness and I understand that they have specific needs as well. Leadership to me entails leading my own life and practicing personal integrity. Every pup I've met or trained offers new opportunities for patience and learning and I'm happy to accept that challenge.
About: I have grown up with animals and love them all dearly <3 I have my own cat and dog at home and have helped out watching friends' animals since I was very little. I'd love to meet your cutie and help out! I am currently working part time or contract gigs until I head off to grad school in August! This makes my schedule flexible for all needs. I am a respectful, polite, conscientious person. I will make sure your pet is properly taken care of and leave your home the exact same way it was when I arrive. Depending on your pets needs, I will happily take them on one of my runs!

I know for many people today their pets are a furry part of the family, so I would treat them with the same love and care I give my cats and dobies, and make sure your animals are genuinely cared for while you are away.
