About: I mostly have experience with medium to larger dogs. I love going on walks so I will take pets along for the journey. I grew up with bulldogs and I’ve personally owned German Shepards and Huskies. I am currently in between jobs and preparing for a certification test for signed language interpreting. About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats my entire life and have extensive hands-on experience with both. I currently have four cats of my own and volunteer at the Santa Fe Animal Shelter, where I help make sure every homeless kitty gets the love and attention they deserve. In addition to pet sitting and walking for friends and neighbors since middle school, I’ve worked at a professional doggy daycare and boarding facility. There, I was responsible for supervising group play, feeding dogs with specific dietary needs, administering medications (including pills and liquids), bathing dogs, and keeping their environment clean, safe, and fun. About: I don’t really have any restrictions on what I can handle, I’m used to taking care of elderly dogs, and having to cater to specialized diets or even mobility issues. But I have also cared for very energetic puppies, and middle-age dogs who just need to get out of the house or have a little companionship. I am a student athlete however, I do tend to have a lot of free time in the midday to afternoon range and on the weekends. I have two other very friendly dogs, and a large fenced in yard that is also close to a lot of other walking paths and parks. There is also plenty of space in my house in order to for dogs to be kept separately if they are not friendly, or cater to other needs such as crates.
About: I’ve always had a variety of pets in my house. Growing up my family cared for dogs, turtles, fish, hamsters, frogs, hermit crabs, and chickens. We never owned a cat because my mom is allergic to them but since I moved in with my auntie during university, I have lived with one and have loved it! With my grandma, we currently have 6 dogs! When I moved to Utah, by myself, in January 2023, I got lonely and craved animal connection, so I began with Rover. It has been such a great thing in my life. I hope to continue my services in New Mexico. I now have 2 pups of my own, but my partner cares for them when I am sitting. It was the first time I have left Azuki with someone and felt totally safe and secure that she was being taken care of (even when I have had dogsitters in my own home!) so i didn't feel the need to keep checking on her. Azuki had tons of pets and playtime. We immediately booked our next stay because it went so well! Thank you Brian and Jerri!!!!”
