“I thought Maellen was terrific. A few days before our cruise, Lili, our corgi had to be fitted with "the cone of shame" for a skin condition. I contacted Maellen to see if this would create a problem and offered to find another sitter but Maellen said it would be fine. She treated the skin condition twice a day took excellent care of Lili for the 7 day cruise. Lili obviously had a great time and was in excellent condition. My dogs get along with Patricia's small dog, Sophie, and enjoy their surroundings during their stay (Patricia has a beautiful patio and spends time with them outside). About: I mostly have experience with medium to larger dogs. I love going on walks so I will take pets along for the journey. I grew up with bulldogs and I’ve personally owned German Shepards and Huskies. I am currently in between jobs and preparing for a certification test for signed language interpreting. I have plenty of free time for pets and love to get out and about like going for walks, hikes and enjoying the sun. I have a private small patio with many dogs parks in my apartment complex. Also close to my apartment is a golf course that is a clear and safe walk for fur babies. I can crate your dog if needed (: they are allowed on furniture to make them feel like home!

About: I have past experience in administering medicine including insulin and pills, as well as cleaning litter boxes, picking up dog poop, and feeding bearded dragons. I'm a college student working at a restaurant, but I am available throughout the day between school and work, and at nights. Overall pet sitting fits into my schedule just as well as any average person. I have a cat in my home who is vaccinated and well cared for, so if a pet is coming to my home it must be OK around cats, my cat is also used to dogs and other animals, although I would prefer to watch animals at their house. I care for them by feeding them according to their schedule, always providing fresh water, and taking them on any necessary walks, or runs, and of course cleaning up the poop or puke that occurs.

About: I don’t really have any restrictions on what I can handle, I’m used to taking care of elderly dogs, and having to cater to specialized diets or even mobility issues. But I have also cared for very energetic puppies, and middle-age dogs who just need to get out of the house or have a little companionship. I am a student athlete however, I do tend to have a lot of free time in the midday to afternoon range and on the weekends. I have two other very friendly dogs, and a large fenced in yard that is also close to a lot of other walking paths and parks. There is also plenty of space in my house in order to for dogs to be kept separately if they are not friendly, or cater to other needs such as crates.
