We were in ABQ for the Balloon Fiesta and realized that I had left the dog's bag with their food and food bowls in it at home when I went to drop off the pups. She had spare food for them to eat and even a spare leash to take Penny and Baxter for a walk, because I forgot that, too! First time ever I have done that, but Anne is prepared for every catastrophe a pet owner could have, with multiple leashes, bowls, and yes, even food available for pets. He house is like a luxury pet resort. Makes me wish I was a dog so I could have stayed with her!”

“I was visiting town and needed a last-minute dog daycare option, and she was fantastic. She was very responsive and took the time to meet me and my pup beforehand, which made me feel comfortable right away. My pup was tired from the day and all the activities, but she handled her with both care and confidence. She quickly became part of the pack, played with the other dogs, and came back happily exhausted. She also sent photos and text updates, which I really appreciated. About: I have past experience in administering medicine including insulin and pills, as well as cleaning litter boxes, picking up dog poop, and feeding bearded dragons. I'm a college student working at a restaurant, but I am available throughout the day between school and work, and at nights. Overall pet sitting fits into my schedule just as well as any average person. I have a cat in my home who is vaccinated and well cared for, so if a pet is coming to my home it must be OK around cats, my cat is also used to dogs and other animals, although I would prefer to watch animals at their house. I care for them by feeding them according to their schedule, always providing fresh water, and taking them on any necessary walks, or runs, and of course cleaning up the poop or puke that occurs.

“Sophie was so wonderful with our dog Bob. Bob seemed very happy and got lots of time with Sophie and her family, and Sophie even gave Bob a bath before pickup! Sophie was also super flexible with our pickup and drop off schedule. Would definitely recommend and use her again!”

“Joshua's in-home sitting for our two dogs was great! He has an obvious talent for working with and training dogs, even stubborn ones. Our dogs were well-kept, and enjoyed playing with his German Shepherd in his large backyard. All went well and our dogs are better behaved for their 5 days with Joshua. We highly recommend him!”

“Shell and her family took in my persnickety old pooch with open arms. Our Meet and Greet went well and I felt confident in her professionalism. My feelings were spot on, as I received text updates and photos of him enjoying the good life at Shells. When we arrived to pick him up, he was so busy being part of the family he almost didn't recognize us! That was a great sign and made me know he was in top shape. He came home happy and well rested. He never showed the least bit of stress that is always displayed after boarding episodes at kennels - no matter how attentive or nice they were. Her house and yard are beautiful, clean, tranquil and inviting; it's a wonderful HOME. A safe environment for "sensitive" dogs. I've already told everyone I know with a dog about Dog VaCay and Shell, and what a great concept and home we found in both.”
