“Maellin was an absolutely wonderful dog sitter; she had excellent communication across the board. Sharing updates and photos of Navi every day. I could tell from the photos that she took such good care of her, Navi was smiling, and really warmed up to Maellin, which she doesn’t do with everyone. It was over the 4th, and Navi was quite nervous about the fireworks. Maellin took every measure to ensure her greatest ease and comfort, bringing her into their bedroom and turning on some background noise to help drown it out. Maellin is also a wonderfully sweet human; she will 100% be my first choice anytime we need care for Navi.”

About: I've been caring for all kinds of pets, from dogs and cats to reptiles and Macaws. I've also volunteered at bird reacues and animal shelters in both New Mexico and Iowa. I have experience in animal training and Im currently an at home student at CNM so I have plenty of time to entertain and care for your pet. I enjoy making pet care a full time part of my life. I have a large fenced in back yard perfect for safe running and playing. It's got a nice spacious grass lawn with pet safe plants. The inside is pet safe and proof for your animals safety.

My dog Murphy throughly enjoyed her stay, was well cared for and bonded immediately with Bonni’s dog and the two other smaller dogs she was sitting. Bonni was very thoughtful in texting me pictures of how Murphy was doing and reported to me everyday how she was eating, sleeping, and getting along with the other dogs. About: I have had dogs for many years and loved them all. Whippets and rescues, poodles, and mixed breeds have all found love in my home. I have cared for dogs of others, both in my home and as a house sitter. (I will housesit for cats but cannot have them in my home due to family member allergy). I have cared for puppies and all ages, including senior dogs. Medication, feeding, walks, playing, loving...all can be done. I am retired from working as an art therapist. We have a young pup at home who loves other dogs. I am home throughout the day and will work with needed schedules. When I am out on errands, etc, my pup currently is free to roam the house. We have a fenced yard, a dog door, and easy care home. I will work with whatever requirements are needed to make sure your fur baby is safe and sound.

About: I lost my sixteen-year-old fur baby in October, 2018 and find myself missing that special energy only pets can bring. I have been caring for various pets for my friends and family for about 20 years and have done drop ins and overnight visits. I do have a full-time 8-5:30, Monday-Friday (and many Saturdays) job however, and am not available to provide constant care for pets. I do have more than enough time to devote myself to the love and care of your fur baby. In my home, in my life, dogs and cats are family and deserve the same love, care, and respect that human beings deserve. Perhaps more. While I have more experience with dogs I haven’t met a cat I couldn’t win over. Rest assured that if you place the care of your beloved pets in my hands they will be well loved while you are out of town. Your home will be cared for as well. I do have a “regular” 8 am to 5 pm job. My evenings and nights are free. Weekends are also more flexible for me when it comes to spending quality time with your baby. I am not able to provide constant care. I live in an apartment complex so I am more than happy to visit your fur baby in their own environment. I want to make sure your pets are as comfortable as possible so I’d prefer to maintain the schedule and comfort they’re used to.

About: I started volunteering at vet clinics in 2006. I've been caring for other people's pets since 2012, including dogs, cats, exotic birds, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs. I am experienced with special needs animals, elderlies, and those recovering from surgery. I've completed over 100 volunteer hours walking rescue dogs at Animal Humane New Mexico (AHNM). I am comfortable working with some behavioral challenges. “Michael watched our fur baby for 13 days. She is approx. 14 yrs old, and we were worried about leaving her for such a long period of time. Michael's calm and easy demeanor was reassurance that she would be fine. She does not get along with other animals and as the only pet Michael watched he was able to provide her with individual attention. He sent photos daily, which we greatly appreciated. About: I’ve dog sat for most of my life, I have a love for all dogs and deeply believe dogs are family and should be treated and cared for as such I currently work full time on the weekends so I am usually off on weekdays and would love some company cuddling on the couch or walks I have a fenced yard and almost a half acre to run around. I have two beagles and a little yorkie that will keep your pup company.
