“Onrae is my very first Rover experience. Onrae responded quickly, professionally and was very responsive. I had concerns about my dogs behavior (he can be pretty high energy) Lucky for me Dashy was very well behaved at our meet and greet. After talking with Onrae a few minutes I had no concerns if Dashy did have any behavior issues staying there. When dropping off Dashy, he was excited to go in with the well mannered kids. I had prompt check in the next day. Basiclly Dashy did great and I had no concerned about his well being or about any behavior issues. Onrae is highly experienced and highly recommended. He's a no nonsense guy who seems to really care for dogs and client parents concerns. I will definately be using Onrae in the future!”

“I met Elaine and her doggies about a year ago. My dogs finally stayed at her house for four nights last month, and then for one day last week. About: I have lived with at least 2 dogs in my household for the past 20 years. Providing them with the opportunities to live fulfilling and healthy lives has been my priority. Although I am their caregiver, I consider them also to be my teachers. Learning how to communicate with them is the best way to ensure they are happy and calm, and that they feel safe. I am currently retired and spend quite a bit of time at the dog park. My dog and I are mostly inseparable. I take him with me to run errands when I can. It isn't always practical and so he minds the house when I am away. Barney is my only companion, and, even though I'm kind of a loner, Barney is NOT. He is extremely friendly and social and craves the company of other dog;, that factors into my decision to care for other dogs in my home. Barney will help me keep your dog comfortable and happy while in our care. We have a fenced back yard (4 foot). The surrounding properties have no dogs at this time. If your dog can jump a 4 foot fence, this may not be the safest home for him or her.
About: Hello, my name is Tabatha and I started pet-sitting for my aunt and her 7 cats when I was 14. I am now 35, and she now has one doggy that I continue to care for. I always enjoy the time I am able to spend with different animals as a pet sitter. I grew up in a rented home and wasn't able to have my own pets until I was 16. At 16 I was adopted by a beautiful tuxedo tom cat named "Moo." I had 15 wonderful years with my baby. My partner and I just adopted a stray kitten we found. Her name is Sprout. She is playful, but not aggressive. We are currently having clients do a meet and greet with her at our place before accepting any boarding requests. I've been a volunteer at the Albuquerque Eastside shelter, and I am looking forward to volunteering there soon, and at some point Walking in Circles Ranch. I have taken an animal first aid course with the Red Cross and hope to further that knowledge more this year. I have experience with small pets like mice, guinea pigs, and hedgehogs. I am comfortable with all breeds of dogs and cats. I also pet/house sit regularly for multiple-pet homes. PLEASE NOTE: During the summer, I do not walk dogs on city streets between the hours of 10 am and 8 pm. It gets too hot for me and the pups. I don't mind taking them to a park though! When house-sitting I prefer to have a visual walk through of procedures and also written instructions. I follow orders exactly and contact owners if there are any questions. I send pictures often of pets. I keep homes and animal areas as they were when owners left. I am also comfortable administering medications.

About: I grew up in a family that has dogs and I’ve spent my whole life catering to animals. I have so much love for animals and it is apparent they can feel that when I play with them or spend a lot of time with one animal. I am a very trustworthy person as I have had many new people I've met choose me to house sit, walk their dog, feed their cat, or simply let their dogs out for 30 minutes at a time. About: When I used to have my pet dogs I liked to take them out jogging for exercise. When I was a kid we owned a beagle for at least 4 years and we also had a chocolate lab for about 10 years, so I have some experience taking care of dogs. I enjoy being outdoors, and would be happy to throw a toy around a dog park, or just take your dog on the leash to go walking. “Onrae is my very first Rover experience. Onrae responded quickly, professionally and was very responsive. I had concerns about my dogs behavior (he can be pretty high energy) Lucky for me Dashy was very well behaved at our meet and greet. After talking with Onrae a few minutes I had no concerns if Dashy did have any behavior issues staying there. When dropping off Dashy, he was excited to go in with the well mannered kids. I had prompt check in the next day. Basiclly Dashy did great and I had no concerned about his well being or about any behavior issues. Onrae is highly experienced and highly recommended. He's a no nonsense guy who seems to really care for dogs and client parents concerns. I will definately be using Onrae in the future!”

He's an older adopted dog and I was a little worried about leaving him, but they invited us over to visit before our time away from each other and that really cemented the deal. I felt much more relaxed about leaving him if necessary, knowing I have them as a backup.”

After my husband and I started our family, we welcomed our own dog into our home. Caring for both a dog and a cat every day has given me hands-on experience with feeding, walking, playtime, basic grooming, cleaning up after pets, and recognizing different behaviors and needs. My husband is a retired U.S. Air Force veteran, and together we have built a stable, loving, and pet-friendly home. I believe pets are family, and I will always follow your instructions carefully to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. Our dogs were well-kept, and enjoyed playing with his German Shepherd in his large backyard. All went well and our dogs are better behaved for their 5 days with Joshua. We highly recommend him!”
